But little did I know that he had something else up his sleeve in regards to my gift card. So we walk the mall and we finally get to the Nordstrom Rack store... ahh, the fine things I can find in there. We start to look at the shoes and he starts to pick out shoes for me... and turns to me and says that we aren't leaving the store until I use my gift card money. G-A-S-P! The audacity! My husband telling me that I need to spend money on myself! LOL!! As I clutched my imaginary pearls - all of a sudden I'm southern and in shock! - I started looking around for things that I wanted! How dare I, right?! We finally get to the register... with 4 pairs of shoes and a pair of sunglasses in tow... the wonderful Haley B was the person that we had the opportunity to ring out with. As my items were being rung up, I noticed that my gift card wasn't going to cover the whole amount of the purchase. So I make a comment to the hubby that I'm gonna have to leave something behind since I wouldn't have enough to cover the total... Haley jumps in and asks me the amount on the gift card and after I tell her, she advises me that she will add a coupon to my amount so that I wouldn't be over! OMG!!! Now that's what I call customer service!!! I was over the moon walking out of the store with everything that I wanted because of one employees looking out for a customer! During my purchase, one of my items was accidentally scanned twice, which I unfortunately didn't notice until I got home and checked my receipt. Another issue was the way the transaction was handled. While my payment was still processing, the cashier turned around and stopped assisting me. When the payment finished, instead of handing me my receipt like she did with the customers before me, she simply told me to grab it myself from the machine. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. I already tried resolving this with the store manager ABBY, but my concerns were dismissed, so I'm now reaching out for further assistance and hoping this issue is taken seriously.

He also listed for me all of the prices of the hats there, most of which were under the price or just the same as hats at lids. The hats that were pricier were hats with custom brims. I was glad for the clarification and reassurance. I went in a day later and to my surprised the issues I'd mentioned in my previous review were gone, no more crappy display shoes and odor thank you! And the first thing that I saw when I walked in was the owner Robert hard at work and fixing up the displays on the floor himself. This let me know how dedicated he is to his business and how sincere and serious he is about custom satisfaction. After speaking with him in person he convinced me to come by the store again. Anyways, he was growing impatient although I was apologizing over and over again while on the phone with customer service. My kohls card stopped working so I got on the phone with customer service and again... huffing and puffing. Customer service finally told me that my card was available for usage and all problems were resolved but somehow my card, with a balance of more than 500, was still "declining" in which the cashier was saying so loud, but it's okay, anyways he kept saying my card was declining although I had not inserted, tapped, or even enter my phone number.
