I finally was in the area to check them out. They have some really fun, unique items which is great because I don't want to see my outfit on someone slimmer than me! They have so much merchandise to look at and go through that I started at one end and kept circling around the store because I was afraid I'd miss something! Large selection equals awesome! They even had a decent amount of clearance items. Two rolling racks with 50% off. I love a good deal! Jewelry, accessories, and even shoes! Very impressive! Now I'm not a model size and I was pleasantly surprised at the selection in large, XL, and even a few XXL! Thank you! Personally for me the prices are way outside of my budget. $50 for a t-shirt, $35 for a tank top? Sorry, but I couldn't find anything that I absolutely loved for those prices. I will definitely stop back to see what's on sale and what new styles they have though. I personally liked that the sales girls (they were chatting about high school) greeted me, but left me to wander. As soon as I picked a few things up they were by my side offering me a dressing room! But for the most part let me browse. Very nice! I will definitely stop by again when I'm in this neck of the woods!

There was a ladies night event advertised on their social media which mentioned giveaways but when asked about them the salesclerk confirmed there were none. The store has frequent sales or discounts. They do offer private shopping parties in which the hostess receives a 40% discount and guests get 20% off.

You can shop here without getting completely overwhelmed. They have handbags, beauty items, shoes (TONS OF SHOES), tops, pants, overwear, kids items and a few other miscellaneous. I've gotten some great deals here including $465 Stuart Weitzman booties for $150, $150-255 BCBG sweaters for $19 each, Calvin Klein coat for under $100, and Aloe yoga pants & tank for $19 each. This store is my heaven. I cannot go inside unless I have some money to spend because I will find something I want to buy. TIP: Don't bother heading to the cash registers to pay for your items. Just find a team member and they will check you out themselves without a wait!

Visiting Nordstrom's Racks sometimes feel like a treasure hunt. The Rack in Maple Grove is decent sized and well laid out. They tend to have a bit of a smaller selection of the higher end designers that you can find at the Mall of America Nordstrom rack but still a decent variety. They carry women's, men's, children's, shoes, accessories and home goods. Parking is plentiful but the traffic flow is a little tricky directing you right into the first row. That row gets 100% of incoming traffic so I'd recommend parking one or two over. Customer service here is always good. While you are kind of on your own to hunt the racks (if you want a personalized shopping experience head to the actual Nordstrom's) the employees always seem to be in a good mood and helpful when checking out. Dressing rooms are always clean and they have plenty of spaces to try on items. It helps when people return unwanted items to the return racks so do your part and don't leave them in the room. Overall I think visiting this location is fun and I rarely leave empty handed!

The managers were not sure how to handle, took 3 days for them to consult with owner who said there was nothing they could do. Over $300 for a used dress. Not willing to adjust price or help with alterations to undo what has been done and fit my daughter, no time to get a new dress. Ugh!

They have a special rack of outfits they've put together right next to the door! I still want to try their stylist where you give them your sizes and preferences (work, casual, etc.) Then they put whole outfits together for you. I think that would be super fun to try!
