Talbots, Loft, Zumies, and Ann Taylor always unlock and start a fitting room while I continue shopping. Citi Trends should follow suit. I will keep checking them though as they sell Ed Hardy Shirts and Juicy Couture jeans and steep discounts. I overheard two customers expressing their surprise and unhappiness. I wanted to try on a pair of pants at 8:40 PM and was told the dressing rooms closed at 8:00 PM. Totally ridiculous! I dropped the pants and immediately left! This used to be one of the best clothing stores in Lynchburg. Now I don't even shop here due to the policies as mentioned, rude employees and lack of selection. I can definitely see why they are struggling. Take your business elsewhere!

As Goodwill seems to have…read morebecome a profit making store it is no longer as much fun as it used to be, nor as much of a bargain. They no longer provide shopping bags but are pleased to charge a buck for the kind of tote-bags many charitable outfits send me for free. The CDs doubled in price and the knick-nacks are also quite a bit more expensive. Clothing is up a little. Glassware has gone up a lot and new goods are prominently displayed at regular retail prices. The books have been relegated to the back o7f the store and a nice lady who organized the books is not there any more. They are no longer organized in any manner.

It's a medium sized location with separate areas for men, women, appliances, furniture, electronics. I usually go in looking for particular things which I did not find this time. The good thing about goodwill is there will always be a new variety and by supporting them you are also supporting their cause to employ people with disabilities and/or disadvantages. I would strongly recommend considering another location if you're planning to book a hair…read moreappointment. Unfortunately, I've had two separate experiences at this salon that resulted in significant damage to my hair. During my most recent appointment, my hair was left with multiple uneven shades of blonde and highlights that were not applied evenly. Also to mention I have been a loyal ulta client who has had years of notes in system and show pictures of what I'm looking for in my hair appointment. The condition of my hair also worsened significantly, including breakage and noticeable bald spots. I was extremely upset during the appointment, especially because I was reassured that my hair could be taken to the color I wanted. Afterward, I had to travel to North Carolina where I normally go to have a professional color correction done because I was unable to find someone locally who could correct the color quickly and safely. The only reason why I went there is because I'm a college student and live in the area and I have a busy schedule. To travel out to NC, The correction was expensive, and I'm now also having to spend additional money on repair treatments to address the breakage and damage and the balding. Another concern is that this location currently only has one stylist, so I would personally recommend looking at other locations before scheduling an appointment here. If you're considering having your hair lightened, highlighted, or color corrected, I would especially encourage you to do your research and choose a stylist with extensive experience in those services. It's my last year and I plan to go into professional dance so my hair is important to me and now I had to get my hair darkened because of the damage from the Lynchburg va. I also had an uncomfortable experience during my appointment with other customers repeatedly sitting near me and bothering me, which made me feel uneasy. I can only speak to my personal experience, but the environment during my visit was not one where I felt particularly comfortable. The store itself has been fine for my other shopping experiences, but based on what happened with my hair, I would not personally recommend booking a hair appointment at this location. I would strongly encourage anyone considering it to look into another location, such as the Roanoke store, and save themselves the potential time, money, and stress of having to correct a bad color service afterward. I'm sharing this because I wish I had known more about the experience before booking. Please do your research and be cautious when choosing where to have your hair colored or highlighted.
