I am a 75 year old male who suffered with crooked teeth. As I understand it, my situation was a bit complex, it wasn't just a matter of the teeth being crooked. I've consulted about this problem with several dentists and specialists over the years. In addition to crooked teeth, the left potion of my upper jaw was not symmetrical to the right side. This further complicated the problem. Initially, Dr Rezaei, was not overly optimistic about my situation. But, most importantly, she did not give up. Several days after my initial visit, she called to say that she and her lab may have come up with a solution and she asked that I return to the office to discuss. In addition to the problems noted above, I had one front tooth that projected out at an extreme angle beyond the surrounding teeth. This was a real challenge to correct, but Dr Rezaei explained that she and the lab had developed a solution to this. I'm not a dentist, so I don't fully understand how this was handled, but I believe it had something to do with how that particular tooth was prepared for its crown and the way that the laboratory custom made the crown, itself. I've had the good fortune to have had several very fine dentists in the past. However, without doubt, I would choose Dr Rezaei over any past dentist. She is meticulous in her work. In one of our longer sessions, I was in the chair for several hours. I was expecting that, at the very least, I would experience some discomfort, but Dr Rezaei's technique is so gentle and reassuring that I experienced no discomfort or pain at all. For the first time in my life, I now have straight-looking teeth and a great smile. My family is amazed how good the teeth look. However, there was also another benefit to Dr Rezaei's quality work. Several days after the work was completed, I noticed that for some reason, I was feeling better. The tooth that projected out beyond the surrounding teeth, had been mauling the left inside area of my mouth for years. In fact, there is a scar where that tooth hit the inside of my mouth. Dr Rezaei's procedure has not only left me with a great smile, but it also ensured that this tooth would no longer strike the inside of my mouth! The entire staff of Chico Modern Dentistry is extremely friendly and greet me by name. I've watched them dealing with other patients and it's obvious that their friendly attitude is well ingrained and goes a long way to making patients feel at ease for a visit most people rather not make. I will be forever thankful for Dr Rezaei's quality work and collaboration with her lab. I'm certain that without her personal involvement, I would not have a great smile today. Without hesitation, I would recommend Chico Modern Dentistry and Dr. Rezaei to anyone needing routine or cosmetic dental work. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I had an accident on Christmas night that resulted on 2 intruded and broken front teeth (root broken but only one had chipped on the end) and a slightly chipped side tooth, I could not get immediate treatment from a dentist (as it was a holiday) so I scheduled a visit for the next morning, since urgency is crucial in these situations in order to be able to move the teeth back in place and needs to be done as soon as possible. I came in for an appointment with Dr. Sanjay the very next morning, spent about 40 minutes at the front desk trying to get the hospital documentation necessary for them to see me since it was a trauma situation, I finally got the documentation I needed, but Dr. Sanjay said he would only see me the next morning (they were closing in about an hour), completely aware of the urgency of the situation and acting like he was annoyed by the "inconvenience" of me being there and expecting to be seen (when I had made an appointment). I get that no one likes to work on holidays, but I also didn't like having to be there on a holiday. I come in the next day and not only my face has gotten very swollen, but I am in physical pain and emotional distress from the trauma. Dr. Sanjay finally sees me and he might just be the worst dentist I have ever seen, I cried the whole time I was sat on that chair, not from sadness but from ACTUAL PHYSICAL PAIN. Not only did he apply the local anestesia multiple times by pretty much just stabbing my gums over and over, but he would proceed to work on my teeth even when I would tell him it was hurting me, completely disregarding my pain (and I mean pain, not discomfort). He pulls my intruded teeth with one of his hands holding my face back and the other holding my teeth, that was after I had told him the anestesia had not yet numbed my mouth, it was one of the most painful moments I have ever been through. Not satisfied with his damn near torture approach, he proceeded to tell me I was "too emotional" because I was crying and said it was because my face was swollen that it was hurting, not because of him. He starts the treatment and another guy makes a temporary crown for both of my front teeth (since Dr. Sanjay filed them both down, even the one that had only snapped in the top of the root but had no other cracks/chips and looked ENTIRE on both x-rays and hospital exams) and sends me home with my teeth STILL INTRUDED, a chipped tooth with absolutely no repair and a front teeth temporary crown that did not fit into my bite, so it was constantly hitting my lower teeth causing me pain and making it impossible for my top teeth to HEAL once it kept getting hit and pushed out by the lower ones. They schedule me for 3 weeks after that day to get my root canal and permanent crowns. They expected me to have tooth pain, a chipped tooth and a misplaced crown for 3 weeks before doing anything else, aside from also not even fixing my teeth position (like, excuse me???????). I was going to be charged over $10k for that (lol) The very next day I found another place and got seen, they did my root canal the day after, were able to place my teeth correctly back into place and I didn't have to cry from the pain once (my face still being swollen and more bruised now than before), the doctor only had to apply the anestesia once because he actually knew what he was doing and they sent me home with a new temporary crown that actually fit my bite and did not cause me any discomfort and, more importantly, pain. I already have my permanent ones and I couldn't be more glad that I chose not to continue my treatment in this place. Hot take is I would rather knock my teeth out all over again then ever coming back to this place and seeing this AWFUL doctor. read more

It took 7 and a half weeks for these guys to finish a root canal. The pricing that was mailed to me was completely different than what they quoted me while seated in the dentists chair. They cancelled appointments on 3 occasions, and then got into an argument with me, telling me I was the one cancelling. This whole place is lame. I need to see a specialist now, as the tooth they just did the root canal on is in constant pain. Oh, then they had to audacity to send me a letter stating "they no longer have faith in our relationship" and for me to find another dentist. In November I lost a tooth from my denture and went in and had it temporarily repaired. At the same time I started the process of having a new one made. At that time the, I assume, office manager, Michelle, brought in the paperwork for me to sign which stated that my portion after insurance payment was $2346.00. i QUESTIONED HER and asked why it was so much. She stated that the insurance company (Delta Dental) had not raised their payment rates in a very long time and that that is just what a denture cost. I paid the amount to get the denture started... Now....being an old dental assistant myself, I called my insurance company and asked them what my portion should have been. I was told that my portion of an ADA code 5110 denture was $365.00. The insurance representative called the dental office and was told that #1 the doctors notes were not done yet...which was a lie because she had them in her hand when she told me the charge and made my appointment. #2 she said that that is how it is done with % I'm covered and will get a refund if applicable. I went back to Chico Modern Dentist office for my denture delivery appointment and questioned them about the discrepancy and they said that that was what the charge was and the insurance company was wrong. I didn't want to stir up trouble before I got my new denture so I waited until I received it before I filed a Grievance claim. After all was said and done I WAS CHARGED FOR A PREMIUM UPGRADED DENTURE!!!! This upgrade was never presented to me, brought up, mentioned or addressed when presented with the paperwork I absent-mindedly signed. My fault for trusting and signing ...not reading...contract. I feel that I was absolutely DUPED, HUSTLED AND LIED TO!!!!!!! This was not the first time, the second time, but defiantly the third and maybe the fourth time it has happened. Unfortunately I only have one piece of paper that proves my claim which isn't enough. The sad thing is-I like the dentist himself...the office procedures and policies are unethical, underhanded and possibly, in my opinion unlawful. ****PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...EVERYONE...READ ALL PAPERWORK AND CONTRACTS BEFORE SIGNING. Unfortunately, I had to change dentists. We loved hygienist Alina, but they overbook their appointments to the extent that you're just sitting there a lot of the time. They get you in a room quickly, but then you're just waiting. I mainly had routine cleanings and received quality care but the time spent for each appointment is problematic. IMO, you should not have to spend more than an hour for a routine appt, and they've taken 2-3 before. Not acceptable. read more

I need to find a new dentist. I've been going to Chico Modern Dentistry, but they haven't been on the ball. Back in March, they called and told me that they couldnt seeing was no longer with them, but if I gave them a couple months, they would reach back out, and they'd be able to fit me in then. So I waited. Then, I booked an appointment online to go in this morning at 9:00am. Today, I went to the dentists office at the appointment time and they weren't open, so I called and the receptionist answered. She claims that they called and left a message, but I received no message. I thought maybe I just missed it, so I looked through my phone, no voicemail. I looked through to see if I had any missed calls from their office number, no missed calls. The receptionist didn't even apologize for the missed communication and chose to argue about it. I would not have shown up to their office had I received a message. I'm not saying that she's a liar, I'm just saying that someone there is not on the ball. read more

Worst place I have ever been to, all they want is money and don't listen to patient needs. The dentist Kusum Arya was rude, unhelpful and made me feel personally attacked. When the dentist is talking to the assistant in the next room, they think you can't hear them? very unprofessional! The front desk staff also doesn't answer the phones, just constantly being placed on hold. Not only once, but twice I have called and when they finally answered, before I could even ask my question they cut you off to ask for your DOB. I've never been rude to anyone because I know what its like to work in customer service, but today I felt the need to express my frustration with this place. When going to another dentist in the area, you know its bad when they say "oh yea, we get a lot of complaints about them" . **DO NOT GO TO CHICO MODERN DENTISTRY - INCOMPETENT, UNCARING, AND COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL** My cousin's experience at Chico Modern Dentistry has been nothing short of a nightmare. He went there for a full upper denture and surgery, and while the surgery itself went as planned, the experience afterward was a complete disaster. My cousin was counting the days to get his new teeth, excited to finally regain his confidence and be able to eat properly again. But on the SAME DAY he was supposed to get his denture, they called him and said, "Oh, sorry, we LOST your denture." Are you kidding me? How does a dental office lose an entire set of dentures? The level of incompetence and carelessness is unbelievable. My cousin was devastated, and rightly so--he had already been waiting for weeks without teeth, struggling with eating and feeling like he couldn't even leave the house because of his appearance. This was pure psychological torture for him. They told him he'd have to wait another two weeks for a replacement. Another two weeks of being unable to eat properly. Another two weeks of being stuck at home because he felt too embarrassed to go out without teeth. No one at the office seemed to care at all about the mental and emotional damage this caused. There was no empathy, no apology, and certainly no effort to make up for their mistake. And when the two weeks passed? They called him AGAIN, last minute, to tell him that his new denture STILL wasn't ready. At this point, it's obvious this office is completely unorganized and does not care about their patients at all. They don't respect their time or their money. What makes this even worse is that my cousin doesn't speak fluent English, so he was relying on a good friend to go with him to help translate and communicate his needs. This was the ONLY way he could understand what was going on, and honestly, the only way he could stand up for himself. But when his friend started advocating for him, pushing for answers and demanding the service he paid for, the office *blocked* his friend from coming with him. They REFUSED to let his friend continue translating, instead forcing him to use their own over-the-phone translator. This translator was barely helpful, and the whole process was impersonal and completely ineffective. It felt like a deliberate tactic to keep my cousin quiet and powerless--disgusting behavior from a business that's supposed to help people. After all this stress, arguments, and disrespect from the staff, my cousin FINALLY got his denture. And guess what? It was a complete piece of garbage. The quality was so poor that he can't even chew food properly with it. He paid an obscene amount of money for this junk, and now he's left with a worthless, unusable denture that only caused him more pain and frustration. This office has zero regard for its patients' well-being. They don't care about your time, they don't care about your mental health, and they certainly don't care about delivering quality service. From start to finish, this was the most unprofessional, disrespectful, and infuriating experience. If you value your money, your health, and your peace of mind, **stay FAR AWAY from Chico Modern Dentistry**. This place is a scam, plain and simple. I had a horrible toothache and I had no choice but to go here because I couldn't get in anywhere else. They had to remove a cap and prepare a tooth for a root canal. I was there for 4 1/2 hours to remove a cap. They don't have a root canal specialist in office so I have to wait till November 7 to get my root canal done. They put a temporary cap on it and didn't even scrape away the cement around my tooth. In the process of Dr. arya removing the cap. She put a hole in my back tooth behind the one that was being worked on. I came home and was in so much pain. I couldn't stand it. I looked for a root canal specialist online and found Hanosh and Hunter dental group. Explain to them what happened and they got me in that afternoon. He was appalled at the work that was done in my mouth could not believe it took 3 1/2 hours to remove the cap and could not believe they put a hole in my tooth and didn't tell me and tried to cover it up with the temporary cap but didn't cover it. That is why I was in so much pain from the hole in the tooth that they didn't even work on. They charged me $1670 for this service and I am contacting my insurance company and my CareCredit to fight this. Do not go to Chico modern dentistry. Trust me. And none of them you can understand except for the RDAs and the front counter. read more

Scam! This dental office is like a shady mechanic who tells you that you need $600 extra work when you go to have an alternator replaced. I went to have a tooth pulled. They told me they wouldn't pull my tooth without doing a bone graft. I have dental insurance. The tooth pulling part would have cost me $45 out of pocket. But because they refused to pull the tooth without a bone graft, my bill AFTER insurance was going to be OVER $1200. I would definitely not recommend this place. They are in it to UPSELL and will tell you they can't do the cheaper option. My insurance covered the cost of my visit & x-rays and when I was leaving, the receptionist actually had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to schedule another appointment, after I already told the same person I wasn't paying over $1200 for a tooth that needed pulled. read more

Incredibly shady billing practices. Have more than once told us that a certain charge would cover an entire procedure then at a later date added very large additional charges and denied making the previous claims. They have charged our credit cards large amounts of money without our knowledge or approval. They have billed us for things that our insurance has specifically told them they cannot bill us for. I'm sure the quality of service is fine but the billing/business side of it is dishonest and immoral. **Update: It appears to just get worse. They have now overcharged us because the insurance paid more than they originally guessed. We called to get that back and they said no, and that they were going to charge us another $720 even though we had a $0 balance and that if we didn't pay it they would send us to collections. I asked for some sort of information about why we owed that money and they could not provide it and even though the statement from their billing company said otherwise they still insisted we pay it and threatened to send us to collections if we didn't. read more

Today was it for me. This was to be my third appointment at this office. The first went fine. The second, my first dentist didn't work there anymore so they put me with someone else, that's fine, I don't care. My problem was that I was there waiting for 2 hours and it took them 15 minutes to see me. I was standing at the door after waiting over an hour and then someone finally walked by and then didn't say anything. Luckily, someone else walked by and they helped me. The appointment I had today was cancelled a couple weeks ago apparently because THAT dentist was also gone and they hadn't replaced her yet. Why did I get a confirmation email less than a week ago through the app if my appointment was cancelled? Why is your turnover of dentists horrible? They also try to add on extra stuff you don't need. I have had nothing but problems with this dentist. About two years ago, I scheduled my first appointment with the office. I took a morning off work to get my 6-month cleaning and exam. Upon my arrival and waiting over an hour to see the dentist, they informed me that I would only be receiving an exam and that I would have to schedule an additional appointment with their hygienist for a cleaning. I was frustrated they didn't tell me this beforehand, but I figured things happen, and COVID has been tough on everyone. I scheduled a cleaning for the day's first appointment at 8 am the following week. I arrived promptly right when they opened since I had to take off work again and wanted to be quick. I waited 25 minutes in the waiting room, after which they informed me they had their morning meeting, delaying my appointment. I asked why they didn't schedule me for 30 minutes later, and they said usually, the meetings take less time, but they did not seem to care at all. Super frustrated, I finally received my cleaning (very friendly hygienist) and left. Then! 6 months later, I scheduled another cleaning and exam. Everything went smoothly, I was pleasantly surprised and left happy. However, a few months later, I noticed an extra $166 was taken out of my insurance's flexible spending account (FSA) for an x-ray and "hygiene instructions." I immediately called the dentist office and asked for an explanation, they said they had no idea why I was charged for the instructions since it is usually for little kids and that I needed to contact my insurance because it was somehow my insurance's fault for not covering the bill. I went back and forth with the dentist's office and my insurance for MONTHS. Finally, a nice woman at the dentist's office took over my issue and figured out that the office had, in fact, overcharged me and would issue me a refund in the form of a check. She said I would receive it in a few business days. After 2 weeks and still no check, I contacted the office multiple times for an update, and they continued to tell me that they had sent a request to their billing department on the status of my refund check. Then, after another week, I received a phone call saying that my refund was finally approved and they would issue the check. It took two months to finally receive my check after the initial "we will send it out today". I finally received my refund after discovering the overcharge 7 months ago. Overall, the ladies at the front desk were very polite and professional, but unfortunately, no one seemed to know what was happening, and they didn't seem to care about me or my time. I felt like I was a problem passed on from one person to the next because no one wanted to deal with me. I will be finding a new dentist. I gave them 3 chances. read more

Such an odd bait-and-switch experience I had here yesterday. I made an appointment a few weeks ago and confirmed that they take my insurance. Arrived at my appointment and was told they do NOT take my insurance. I told them I had confirmed that over the phone and I was asked who I spoke to. Well... I spoke to whoever answered the phone when I made my appointment. I was told that was not possible. I told them I would not have made the appointment without confirming the insurance first. I was offered a cleaning and exam for $120. So I asked about the $59 price for a cleaning and exam that is posted on all their windows. I was told I could not get that price. No explanation as to why. I asked if the $120 included x-rays, the same promotion that is posted on the signs in the windows and was told it would not include the x-rays. So I left. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THEY'RE SCAMMERS. I scheduled a cleaning with them about three months ago because the dentist I normally go to closed down in March due to covid and I wasn't able to get a cleaning done until December. I wanted to get a cleaning done ASAP because it had been over six months since I had my last one done. When I called to schedule, they said the cleaning would be $59 and since I am a new patient my x-rays are free. I figured that was a good deal since I did not have dental insurance at the time. When I went in, the dental assistants took my x-rays and we went into one of the cleaning rooms. One of the front desk receptionists came into the room with a paper recommending that I get $300 worth of extra cleaning done on my teeth because that is what I need. I thought that was a little strange because they originally told me the cleaning was going to be $59. I told them that I didn't want any extra stuff done on my teeth and to just give me the $59 worth of cleaning. The doctor then came into the room and was asking me many questions about which dentist do I normally go to, how long has it been since I had gone there, and if they have ever discussed with me the condition of my teeth. I told him no, they have always told me good things and I have never had any issues. The doctor told me my teeth have many problems and I am going to need two root canals done on two separate teeth and I have a cavity on one of my lowers that needs a filling. I thought that was very odd because I did not have any pain in my teeth or any issues that I was aware of and I normally take very good care of them. I told the doctor not to worry about it and I will discuss this issue with my regular dentist. Fast forward to today when I went into my regular dentist and he tells me my teeth look great but I have partial decay in my upper left molar so make sure you brush and floss that area really well until you get it filled. He said it is nothing serious and you don't need any root canals done. He mentioned that you don't need a root canal done unless you have pain in your teeth, which I did not have. I am glad that I had nothing serious needing to be done like the dentist at Modern told me but I have a big problem with places like this lying to people and taking advantage of a situation to try and get money. Especially the fact that I didn't have insurance and they were trying to tell me I need all of this work done on my teeth and trying to charge me over $300 for a cleaning that was originally supposed to be $59. Do not go to this dentist office, find some place else. And remember if a dentist tells you that you need a root canal done, only get it if you have pain in your teeth and make sure you get a second opinion. Stay away from Chico Modern. This dental office does NOT have the interest of their patients at the forefront of their services. On my 2nd of the 2 annual cleanings per year, the front desk said I was only scheduled for an exam and x-rays and I'd have to schedule for the cleaning another day. She blamed me because I didn't say I wanted a cleaning when I scheduled. I scheduled after my first cleaning! Why would I schedule for x-rays when I just had my 1st visit with them half a year ago and that included full x-rays?! And then she attempted to collect a $42 copay!!!? I pay my dental plan in order to have 2 covered cleanings (with 1 set of x-rays) per year! I asked why I would need x-rays and was given a sales pitch of "x-rays are $xxx amount and you only have to pay $42 for this service." (And I discovered that their dental hygienist quit (aka "retired") which is why they were limiting cleanings.) I asked her and several other staff why x-rays are required for every visit but I got the runaround from her, the dental assistants and the dentist. I finally was told that THE DENTIST requires x-rays before each cleaning?!!! What? Why? When I finally got in to see the dentist, he also gave me the runaround talking in circles, saying something to the effect of Central/Southern California (where I lived before moving to Chico) had a different set-up for hygienists and they were struggling to find one. He also berated me for not getting the recommended (not necessary at the time) treatments from my last visit. He said he'd see if I could get a cleaning and he left the room. The front desk gal eventually came back in and said I wasn't getting a cleaning, that the dentist has recommended "ever since your last visit" that an old crown required XYZ and that would be $1300. Chico Modern Dentistry has a GIGANTIC office building complex with MULTIPLE empty offices (on the way to the bathroom you'll pass TONS of empty rooms!!). Ever since my first visit with them in Dec 2021, I have felt that they are full of sales pitches, manipulative and trying to make a sale in any way they can. I am truly frustrated with this office. After my initial visit I waited for over a month for my dental implants. Their oral surgeon works scarce hours. On the day of my appointment (during the shelter in place order) I was told that I would not receive my dentures until late June, but I must pay the entire bill on the day of the appointment. I voiced my dissatisfaction over the entire situation. I told them that it would be preferred if I were to pay 50% now and 50% upon receipt of the dentures in June.A few minutes later the office manager ccanceled the appointment altogether, saying I should find a new dentist. read more

I scheduled a cleaning here three weeks ago. When I arrived we did X-rays and it was determined that I need a crown on the back left side. I felt pressured into changing the treatment plan for the day into getting a crown instead of doing a regular cleaning. Midway through drilling, the dentist said that the tooth next to the one being worked on also needed a crown. And again, I was pressured into getting both crowns. I was shown a signature spot and I signed. I did not know at the time that I would be getting a temp crown as their posters in the lobby said same-day (and everyone kept saying "oh this will only take a few hours"), and no one explained this to me until both teeth had been drilled. I left that day in excruciating pain and was left wondering... had I really needed that dental work or had they just taken me for over $2000? After five days of horrible pain and sleepless nights, I decided to pull my bay area dentist's records and realized I had only paid $800 without insurance for the only other crown I have AND it was placed in a 3-hour appointment with little or no resulting pain. (And my dentist texted and called me to check-up on how I was doing afterward!) If I had been thinking, I would have stuck with just the cleaning, and returned to my original (and trusted) dentist to get a second opinion and or schedule a same-day crowns with him. I returned today for my crown placement and voiced these frustrations, which the main responses was: you signed the paper, you paid and tough luck. As the clown placement and cleaning wrapped up, the dentist asked if I had "contracted" for a fluoride paste (which was in a pea-size sample pack)... confused as to what "contracted" meant, he just said I could keep it. He then went into how to use it. A front office worker walked in an exclaimed, "It's $26!", to which I tossed it on the counter and walked out. Frustration doesn't even begin to describe. If you are wanting a place that is professional, transparent, trustworthy and communicates well, this office is not for you. Miriam was nice and seemed sincere. Less than a 1 rating. If you think you will get an appointment for a procedure, like a filling or a cleaning, and actually have that procedure done the day of your appointment, well, you're wrong. You'll have to make another appointment because the first appointment will be to upsell you on procedures they offer but that you don't need. Example. They offered to remove a dark spot from my lip. What in the world? Then they offered braces. I HAVE STRAIGHT TEETH! Next, if you think that your estimate for out-of-pocket expenses is actually what you will pay, guess again. This office will lead you to believe that they ran everything through your insurance, but if you call your insurance company, this office has done no such thing. I was given an estimate of $32.00 to fix a chipped tooth. When I stepped to the front desk to pay, I was given a bill for $178.80. When I questioned this bill the first time, I was told I only had to pay $32 and nothing more, and that I would not be balanced billed. Now, after learning my insurance was never called and that the tooth was not actually covered, I'm being told by Chico Modern Dentistry, pay the bill or go to collections. RUDE. Find another dentist and avoid the frustrations. This office is completely unethical in their practices. One last thing... Don't sign anything. read more

I have been a patient here for many years. I have been very happy with the quality of work and all the staff. Yes I agree they try to upsell, but sadly it seems to be the trend at newer modern offices. (Or maybe franchises?) Honestly I always get second opinions and sometimes it pays off. I always have the option to hold off on what is suggested. I appreciate how they have helped in dental emergencies and know I can depend on them. read more

I had an appointment for a cleaning and filling replacement today and I left very satisfied with my appointment. Everyone was nice, and I appreciate the way the Dentist treats her staff. The appointment was quicker than I expected and less stressful than my previous dental experiences. In response to complaints about upselling, the staff did politely offer a couple optional services, which I declined and everyone moved on. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! HUGE SCAM!!!! THIS IS YOUR SIGN!!!! During the pandemic I lost my job and insurance. I saw the sign advertising free x rays and a $59 dollar cleaning for new patients. It had only been a year since my last checkup and two years since my last set of x rays so I thought I would take advantage. OOPS. The x rays that they take are great, that's why I gave a star. They also begin to probe my knowledge of dentists and dental history for their little agenda. The doctor looked at my teeth and x rays and began to tell me I needed 6 dental crowns, 2 possible root canals and a possible extraction. In addition to this his assistant told me I needed 900 dollars worth of high intensity cleanings and didn't qualify for the $59 cleaning. I'm young and have always gone to the dentist my whole life. Occasional cavity here and there but my teeth are awesome and beautiful. When these people sensed I wasn't falling for it they became insulting and hostile (subtle threats about losing my teeth lol). I basically pummeled my way through a sea of used car salesman-type dental workers, got in my car and got out. A few days later I went to a REAL dentist (dentist office vs dental business) who took x rays and told me everything looked good and I was due for a regular cleaning. I hadn't been to the dentist for years and I am very happy with the dentist and their staff. Their equipment is all up to date, much more than dentists I've been to in the past. I had an onlay done for a broken molar and a deep cleaning. They also offer insurance plans. I will definitely be going back. Very short wait time to get in and very professional. The entire team has been kind and friendly, making me feel comfortable and wanting to come back and get work done. If there is any issues they explain every step of the way what's going on. Watch out if you have a payment plan on any procedures you have done here. I payed off what I had left, we even asked the receptionist if the auto pay would stop coming out of our account since we paid off the debt. The receptionist assured us it would not, then on the 19th guess what it still came out of my account! Then we call the billing company an they said they couldn't help us. Finally on the following Monday we called the office and the receptionist said she had to verify the funds had been taken out of the account. After she realized yes it did happen she calls back and says it will take 5-7 business days to go back into my account. Very unprofessional and aggravating especially because have bills to pay and need that money! Don't go here!! read more

A negative star would be more appropriate. this is the worst Dental place I have ever been. The doctor insulted me twice. I was there for 3 +hours for x-rays and cleaning. The Doctor told me I had the hale Mary of dental work ( I wonder if he thought this was cute or was he trying to shame me) he asked what medications I was on- I told him that they were on the screen right in front of him. He then said "well do you know why you are prescribed these medications" in a condescending tone. Again he asked "What are the medications" so I pulled out my phone and showed him the same list they made me enter upon check in. I was shuttled from room to room and x-rays were take. After 2 hours I asked how much longer. I was told 20 minutes and it took another hour and 20 minutes. Then they would not do the cleaning as they did not have time. I was scheduled for this service so why there was no time- because of poor scheduling. I tried to switch my deep cleaning (out of pocket 500.00) to a regular cleaning and they said they could not because they would be liable. this is a scam dentist who wants to do implants only and they will do everything to take your money. run do not walk to another dentist. read more
