Their prices were pretty expensive all around the board. Had the chicken nuggets, almost hard to chew with bad breading.

Worth the hype! Food is delicious but the lines are insane. Be prepared to wait…read more Kids were excited to try this jollibee thing they see all their favorite youtubers eating. I was pretty curious about it myself. We grabbed the fried chicken combo, mac and cheese, and the ube pie for dessert. The fried chicken was solid. Nice crispy coating with juicy meat inside. The gravy they give you on the side is super savory and pairs perfectly with it. They were very generous with the gravy too. Everyone got a cup to dip their chicken in. The mac and cheese was creamy and had a good cheesy flavor, though I'd probably get a little more spice or seasoning next time to take it up a notch. The star of the show for me was the ube pie. That thing is dangerously good. Flaky, crispy fried crust with a smooth, not-overly-sweet ube filling that actually tastes like real purple yam. It's a nice twist on the usual fast food pies and definitely worth trying if you like ube or even just sweet potato flavors. I'd highly recommend this one over the regular apple pies they serve. Overall, great chicken spot. Hope they open one closer to us.

Super long line. So I ended up just navigating to the website and ordering online there - had my…read moreorder in before I moved 2 stops. Only one person at the cashier, rest were busy packing and making orders. I went and finished some other orders and picked up that food, came back, and my food was ready for pickup (text message). Nice and simple. The folks I was behind - still in line. I mean, it's fried chicken... they need to be faster than this. Why people want to wait for 10+min in line is beyond me. Anyway - the review: chicken is super big but very fatty. Must breed them that way, b/c each piece had a ton of greasy and oiliness that was missing from the smaller birds I've had at other shops. Gravy was best with their fries and their biscuits. The salty/meaty aroma didn't combine as well and while it masked the bland greasiness of the chicken, didn't really do much to make it enjoyable for me. Pass on the chicken. Spicy was spicier than some other places, though, again, I'm not a spicy fried chicken person. Mac and cheese was heavy and cheesy, yes, but dry at the top. That's been waiting around. I should try the spaghetti next time.

The fries were also super crispy with amazing seasoning. I got the regular fried chicken sandwich which looked impressive. It was quite good as well although I liked the roll more. Service (5/5): Friendly and helpful service. We didn't realize the combo and just adding fries were the same price and they let me still have the combo. The food came out at approx 10ish min and we were checked up a couple times. They were generally very helpful with all requests. Ambiance (5/5): I really liked the Pakistani decor of the restaurant. It had a really nice vibrant vibe.

My absolute go-to in Secaucus for authentic vibes and fresh eats!…read more I keep coming back to Food Street because it's easily one of the most authentic spots in the area. The Paneer Tikka Roll is my personal favourite , the paneer is incredibly fresh, soft, and perfectly spiced every single time. It's wrapped in a flaky, house-made paratha that makes a huge difference. Beyond my usual, the Gappa Chaat is a must-try if you're with a group; it's tangy, crunchy, and beautifully presented. The ambience is vibrant with cool murals, giving it a modern street-food feel that's great for a casual date or family dinner. The service is fast and the staff is always welcoming. If you want high-quality food that feels like it's straight from the streets of Lahore, this is the place!

I'd caught a reel from a stand-up comic doing a bit on Yelp (talk about niche comedy, right?) and…read morethey'd ended it with, "And whoever bothers to give a 3-star review is psychotic!" - which made me laugh. But sometimes... a (middle of the road) "3" is just how it goes. Case in point: Bullhorns. Inside is a bit 'cold' and 'underdeveloped' and not a place I'd want to eat-in at. Guy behind the counter... a bit cold himself. (All good, retail is a cruel biz I know from experience.) As for the food... it's hard to stand out in a crowded field when it comes to burgers 'n fries and what they're doing is solid but it's also not that memorable. The fries (I ordered two which was more than plenty for four hungry people - they're taking a page from Five Guys on being generous with the serving size) were crunchy and flavorful. The burgers - they do not skimp on the patty size or toppings and everything worked well together but... yeah, it's a burger. (I was the only one that seemed to really dig what they ordered.) Maybe worth a mention: most chains when they offer something "hot" (spicy) - it's not that serious, right? You need to keep it safe (tame) for the masses. Well Bullhorns' "Devil's Revenge" was not hyperbole and my one kid (that usually loves spicy food) stood up after just one bite to walk it off. He went back for another and was sweating. (Poor kid begged his mom to swap burgers so she'd have to endure the capsaicin-overload.) For a chain they can't compete with the likes of Shake Shack or even Smashburger. If I found myself in the area again (with a hankering for a burger and fries) - I'd rather drive a few minutes out of the way to hit Bun Buddies over in Wood-Ridge for a much better meal. 3-stars it is.
