I visited this located to grab a quick lunch on my way to snag some cookies and I'm glad I did. They have a diverse chicken salad menu with chicken salad recipes that I've never heard of before. Shout out to Rosa who assisted me when I came in, she was so sweet and offered me samples to help me make my decision on what to order since I was a first-timer (I had no idea they offered various types of chicken salad, from classic, to fruit added, and spicy!). As always to test a place out I went with the Bacon Cheddar melt with the Classic Carol chicken salad (no bells, no whistles). For my side I went with another favorite of mine, broccoli salad. At almost $12 for my to-go order, I do wish there was more broccoli salad for the side portion, and a little more chicken salad on the croissant to get my money's worth so that was a bit disappointing, but none the less the sandwich was delicious with the croissant lightly toasted and the broccoli salad was yummy! I have also always been impressed with the service and love the fact that you can taste test the chicken salad mixes while you are choosing which to order for your meal. Ordered a few meals for family through Carson on Aug 28 and wasn't asked for the app or phone number for my rewards. I didn't think to give it to him myself until I left and wasn't given a receipt which is needed to enter it myself. Also, was never asked if we wanted lettuce/tomato, etc on sandwiches. Asked for no bacon on the soup and they added bacon. There was no crumble topping on the grapes. All minor things that added up. Tried going back to inquire about the points to which they said they could not help and to contact someone higher up. Who is that? We tried grabbing lunch to go a couple weeks later and order was not what we ordered. Also, they did scan my app this time but it did not work. Tried a couple times. This place used to be a staple for us due to great customer service, clean/neat restaurant, tasty and quick meals. A couple of the familiar faces I noticed are now gone. They may have been the ones running the business so smoothly. Very disappointed that we lost our 'go-to' lunch place. I plan to write reviews elsewhere and will attempt to email the company. Spoke to a Carlos who claimed to be a store manager at this location. I called the store before placing an order at this location to inquire about the door dash / uber eats tamper policy. They said that everything would be sealed when placing the order. This is my first and last time ordering from this place. Why? Of course it came to my home with the bag open and not sealed. I called the store back to let them know that I wont be eating the food since it was not sealed and was asking why they would lie! Had to explain to him the above scenario three times with him trying to place the blame on door dash and to get a refund from them. Ummmm you're the place packing the food! I just had to put in a review for this place. I've been here a few times over the last few weeks, and every time I've tried something new. They've let me sample different flavors each time, and always seem to have recommendations. It also always seems to be the same faces whenever I visit, which is nice to see, especially since they tend to remember me. I try to stay away from too many carbs and this place is perfect for that. The crackers they give with scoops really aren't that bad if you just have a sensitivity. And they do have celery instead that you can get. None of the sides are deep fried or greasy, and seems to be much fresher than similar places. Overall highly recommended. read more
