The place is still very busy and I finally csme to try this place out. The line moved pretty fast despite over a dozen people in line. The chicken was super hot and fresh. Crispy but really salty. I found the fries to be bit soggy even though they were freshly cut potatoes. They could of used a soak prior or even a double fry. The prices seemed very reasonable and affordable and I think thats why it was so busy. I feel like if you're in calgary you gotta try this local place. It is very good but I just like my chicken to have some sort of sauce on it.

Altho I was LATE picking up my order I had to wait another 15 +/- minutes... WTF up wif dat?! There's only 1 kid working & no other customers. BOTTOM LINE: give it a try, but don't expect flattering food bursting with flavor, nor anything special. NOTE TO OWNER(s): the place needs a faceLift all around, inside & out, including floors, counter, paint, cleaning, windows, etc, basically a more modern appeal, again "inside & out & all around". Today was a very special day in our lives: my family and I officially became Canadian citizens!…read more Right after the oath of citizenship ceremony, we decided to celebrate with lunch at the Chick-fil-A on Macleod Trail, SW Calgary. We placed our order for a group of 5: 3 chicken sandwich meals, a chicken nugget meal and a salad. At the til, we also mentioned that we had just become Canadian citizens (probably looking obvious in our matching white outfits and little Canadian flags). The manager Rob, gave us a big smile, congratulated us and told us our meal was on the house today! We were absolutely floored by the kindness. The food was fantastic (those chicken sandwiches live up to the hype!), the restaurant was clean, and every team member we interacted with was genuinely warm and welcoming. This was our very first Chick-fil-A experience ever, and thanks to Rob and the whole crew, it was nothing short of magical. We left feeling even more proud and excited to call Canada home. Thank you, Chick-fil-A Calgary Macleod Trail, for making our citizenship day even more memorable. We'll be back, very soon, and with even bigger appetites! New Canadians (and now lifelong fans)

For the price of a regular burger at other fast food joints, you get a flame-broiled patty that you can top with one or more of 8 sauces like chipotle or caesar, your standard toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, plus fun stuff like corn & beans, cucumber, tzatziki, and banana peppers. I don't get cheese or bacon because there is no point with a giant mound of all this other tasty stuff drowning it out. I also like that you can sub onion rings for fries at extra cost in combos*, and an upgrade from a pop to a shake is only 99 cents. Harvey's is what I imagine Subway and Wendy's love child would be, and I like it. *Pro tip: stick a few of your rings in the burger for extra deliciousness.
