I stopped by here after a long trip to Atlantic city with my lady. We didn't eat anything so we decided to stop at chicken guy. I ordered the spicey chicken tenders with french fries. The tenders were a bit on the thin side but still juicy and hot. They were crispy and I liked the flavor of them. I got the garlic parmesan, Nashville hot honey and bourbon brown sugar sauces. My favorite was the bourbon brown sugar. Tasted sweet and smokey. The French fries were crispy and golden. I also tried the banana pudding shake. That was a sweet creamy treat. With some caramel drizzle inside the cup. I would definitely get that again. Over all it was a good quick bite to eat.

Today's lunch was at Guy's Chicken Guy, I was skeptical since my last visit to a Fiery restaurant on the boardwalk was not great. I glad I stopped in today I enjoyed the Caesar Chicken Salad with crispy chicken. When ordering I used the name on the menu and the manager clarified the Caesar salad, because there is a different salad with different ingredients. The lettuces chilled and crisp, the chicken was cut into bite sized pieces. Moist and delicious, it seemed like more chicken but the croutons like very similar to the chicken, it believe it was adequate chicken, however way too many croutons. I'm pleased the chicken was cut since it's plastic utensils. I believe it was an appropriate protein portion. It was served in a compostable container bottom with a snug fitting plastic lid. I will have this again, I will note the place boasts about the number of sauces but in my opinion the title does not adequately represent the flavor. There were wonky tables that wobbled in the dining room . Good choice and kid friendly!

Sometimes you need a cheap eat in AC, but this is not it, although the food quality suggests it should be. It's fast food for sit down restaurant prices. The $6 fountain drink really lost a lot of good will. Pro tip: go to the arcade for a bottle of soda. That is also still a rip-off, but it's cheaper. The experience seems to be more about the sauces than anything else. Like 3 expensive chicken tenders really don't need 2 sauces. The pro: there are lots of different sauce types, and the buttermilk ranch I got seemed to be made fresh and was way better than prepackaged ranch with its abundance of dill and garlic. The con: the chicken itself tasted frozen. My husband said it tasted like frozen Weaver's chicken. The sauce helped mask the taste, but sauce shouldn't be mandatory to eat the main meal. Tenders were big though, so it was filling, just not tasty. Unfortunately, the quick eat alternatives in Harrah's are not any cheaper, but I still think one could get a better product elsewhere. This chicken came home to roost.

Chicken looked delicious when we ordered and received. Some pieces were chewy I hate that. The others were delicious flavor and their dipping sauces are spot on.

The wait to order was way too long, but the food came out hot and fresh, quickly. It is a decent experience. I was expecting more as it is attached to Guy Fieri, but nothing stood out at all and it was VERY pricey. I ordered the three chicken tender meal with fries and a water (Aquafina, barf)... and it was fine. The kicker here are the sauces, as there are many (very exciting), but they were lacking something and just seemed watery to me. The Nashville hot honey and I forget the other, because, well... it was forgetful. The fries were crispy and nicely seasoned. The pickle fries seemed to not have much pickle.. My husband really enjoyed his bbq chicken sandwich, so that increased the rating. The loser of the experience was my daughter's mac and cheese which was as bland as they come. A waste of $6. Probably will not stop by again...

Grabbed dinner here tonight. I had watching the show about this franchise so I had some expectations. In some areas this delivered while in others not so much. Both of us ordered salads and we picked sauces (avocado crema) other than what came with them. When we told the cashier this she told us to tell the guy at the end of line which we did, but he still got them wrong. We went back to fix. Also we asked for two cups for water and we're told no, they don't have those. We opted to take our food back to our room. Without a bowl to mix this up it was a little hard to blend everything. The veggies were fresh but corn was missing from my salad. The avocado sauce had an unexpected zing at the end which didn't mean mild for the girl. The buttermilk ranch was definitely the wow sauce for me and I'd double that next time. Ranch is everywhere but this ranch was beyond. Fries we're good and tasted freshly cut and made. Last thing. I forgot my glasses and couldn't see the detailed menu board. I asked if there was a paper or closer menu to look at. I was told no by two employees but a third, whose name i don't know gave me a bag with a QR code to scan. On the show guy talked about service, this guy delivered. He had long hair that was pulled back. Will probably grab again when at Harrahs overnight.

Loaded Mac & Cheese

Their food definitely looks more appealing than it tastes. We got the loaded Mac & Cheese, as well as an order of tenders. Aside from their cool selection of sauces, their food was pretty flavorless overall. Keep walking around the Hotel, as there are far better options. Pretty disappointing for Guy's restaurant.

Hatched from the minds of chef Guy Fieri and renowned restauranteur, Robert Earl, Chicken Guy! offers signature sandwiches, chicken tender combos, flavorful sides, salad bowls and 22 signature sauces. What is Chicken Guy known for? Chicken Guy! features one-of-a-kind all-natural chicken tenders paired with a wide selection of delicious sauces. Brined in fresh lemon juice, pickle brine and buttermilk, and infused with fresh herbs, these tenders deliver on flavor and texture. We had ordered a chicken sandwich, and an order of chicken tenders and French fries. Very pricey for what you get and the chicken was over cooked. Besides that, the seasoning of the chicken was good, it probably would be good if they weren't over cooked.

Trash!!!! Over priced and over rated. I love Guys shows, I know they're staged productions and all, but this food SUCKS! I got better chicken fingers from MetLife Stadium that's open a few weeks out of the year. Customer service can max this experience even if the food sucks but there customer service is just as bad. First and foremost- the staff behind the front desk/counter looks absolutely MISERABLE. Straight faces, no eye contact. Zero energy to work not serve me, or anybody. A chef/cook behind the line standing behind the cashier with his arms crossed staring at you def made me feel like home. The one employee preparing the dishes at the end of the line stops to eat food while preparing my order!? I ordered a 5-Piece for $17? No soda, no fries! A combo would be $22.99!? The tenders SUCK! Fries are soggy mush. And a bottle water- Total $38...!?!? GTFOH! My local sports bar sells 6 pc tenders with the best fries and honey mustard in town, with a beer for $8.99! And...... get this!? It's Served with a SMILE!!!! Never again! Very good

Loaded chicken Daddy Mac and Cheese. Large portion, piping hot and good.

Loaded Daddy Mac and Cheese with bacon and green onions. Ordered piping hot at 3PM. Short line, super friendly lady who gave me my order. Chicken was juicy and fresh. This is a very large, shareable bowl. I only ate about 1/3 of it on my own. Recommend if loaded Mac and cheese is your thing. If it isn't, this might make it be your thing now!

Honey Chicken Sandwich
Natajsha G.

My recent visit to Chicken Guy's at Harrah's Resort was overall enjoyable. My partner ordered the honey chicken sandwich, and we shared both the French fries and mac and cheese. The fries were excellent--crispy and well-seasoned--while the mac and cheese was good, though not particularly outstanding. My partner found the chicken sandwich flavorful, but slightly overcooked. Despite this, we would rate the experience a solid 4 out of 5. Given our positive experience, I was surprised to see such low reviews. We visited on a Thursday around 5 p.m.

Chicken Guy is the best thing to hit the Atlantic City Boardwalk!

The best thing about being in Atlantic City while looking for affordable food on the Boardwalk is that Chicken Guy! Patrick is the best and we're eating here every day! Excellent service, kicking you in the mouth with flavor to make you train in the Gym even harder!

Two bites in and we both decided we were happy the other place was closed. The bread was amazing. The meatballs were tender and flavorful, and the sauce was outstanding. The sandwich was so good I didn't even get upset when I spilled a little sauce on my shirt. We both got the half-sandwich and when they sat it on the table I was blown away. Their half is anyone else's full. Seriously, the sandwiches are huge. We were only in AC to say we've been to New Jersey, so finding such a great local lunch spot was just what we wanted. The service was friendly and they genuinely seemed happy to meet everyone who came in to grab some food. The wall of celebrity photos speak to the notoriety of the White House, and the quality of the food and the service speaks to why celebrities go out of their way to eat there.

They are well known and upon entering you can clear tell by the walls of pictures with famous figures in sports, entertainment, and television lining the walls near the booths. They also have limited counter searing at the front. They have a menu of subs only (no fries are served only bagged chips and soda). We opted, on this trip, to get the foot long Italian cold cut sub with light mayo, oil, hot peppers, lettuce, and tomatoe. You have to go to the back of the store to place your order with one of the cooks at the counter there. They will give you a number and once your number is called, you pick up your order and pay for it at the front register. The booth seating is for customers that are eating in store. Our Italian sub was loaded with a variety of meats and cheese. It's cut in half, but you can cut that in half and you really can feed four people and a cheesesteak sub with sautéed onions, lettuce, tomato, light mayo, and hots. The rolls are fresh and sturdy to hold up to the meats, cheese and topping inside (fact: the rolls are made from Formica deli across the street!). The meats and cheeses were fresh in the Italian cold cut and the meat in the cheesesteak was ample with a great taste. All in all, a great spot to grab a sub to go or enjoy in the store.

Unfortunately, the service really fell short. It took way too long just to be acknowledged. The hostess was friendly, but the big man behind the counter, looked right past me twice and took another customer's order before mine. Thankfully, a younger gentleman stepped in and took my order, which I appreciated. As for the food, the cheesesteak was very disappointing. It lacked seasoning completely, and the only thing that somewhat saved it was the extra ketchup I added. I couldn't even finish it there, I ended up taking it home and fixing it myself just to make it edible. Being a Philly native, I had higher expectations. The hoagies are actually good, but the cheesesteaks just don't live up to what you'd expect. Overall, not the worst experience, but definitely not one I'd rush back for.
