But despite that they took our order in our food was ready in about 25 minutes. My husband is quite the wing connoisseur, and he raided his garlic, lemon pepper, honey hot wings 10/10. The kids got different variations of the flavored chicken strips and they also rated them the 10 out of 10 we will definitely be back again. I hope the next time we return that they have the same menu items at the North Charlotte location as they do with the other new location. I wanted to try the salmon, chopped cheese.

Even the lettuce looked old and unappetizing. I also ordered the seasoned crinkle fries, but "seasoned" is being generous. I think they may have gotten one sprinkle of seasoning because they tasted like absolutely nothing. To make matters worse, my friend ordered the steak sandwich, and it looked like straight-up dog food. It was so unappetizing that they threw it directly in the trash rather than even attempting to eat it. Overall, the food was disappointing from start to finish. Nothing looked or tasted remotely worth returning for, and based on this experience, I definitely would not go back.

They're great. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area of Charlotte near the panthers stadium and want some good hot chicken. I definitely want to find an excuse to come back so I can try their burgers. I would have already but I didn't want to be a gluttonous hot mess. And before y'all complain about the price YOU GET A GREAT PORTION OF FOOD. I had dinner and enough for leftovers. Just try it and hush.

However, $33.77 (includes drink, beef patty, food and taxes) for overcooked mac and cheese, burnt/dry overcooked brown stewed chicken, over cooked rice and peas (which I didn't see many peas/ beans) and a burnt tasting beef patty, just wasn't what I expected. I just hope it was a night and not a regular way foods were prepared. From others here, I see they do well. The service was great. Very friendly. However, this meal was not acceptable. I'll just have to accept it. They were located at the food truck set up by CookOut on Freedom. I'm willing to try again if others truly swear by them... and I'll update this review. Again, great service, just terrible food - I'm willing to even say maybe it was because it was late night- was the food just cooking all day???? Idk- the mango peach juice was delicious!!!!!! No disappointment there. I'll buy that again. $5. Also, I love this location because it is filled with a number of food trucks. I would love this business to thrive. I ate the beef patty seeing as I was hungry- it was spicy by the patty was hard overcooked. The filling tasted liked it cooked a while. Just ok. Last... I found plastic in it.

They do have indoor seating, but it's a smaller space. A lot of people seem to grab it to-go and enjoy it at home with family -- which makes sense. Either way, dine-in or takeout, it works. If I'm back in Charlotte, I'm definitely pulling up again to try more items off their menu.
