This place is HORRIBLE!!!!!! NEVER go here. I waited 45 minutes for my ONE meal of chicken tenders and fried pickles. I was the only person in here. Once i received my food, it wasn't even in a bag and no ketchup was offered. My chicken and pickles were VERY hard!!!!! AND COLD!!!!! i took ONE bite and had to throw the box out of the WINDOW!!!!!! It brought tears to my eyes. I will never go here again. Also the lady that took my order was very very unhygienic. I could see her whole BUTTHOLE through her pants (they were extremely see through). I've been here 3 times and it doesn't matter if it's busy or you are the only person. Service is exceptionally slow.

I went 2 days in a row to get dinner to go. Both days I was told there were no tenders ready and it would be at least a 15 minute wait but probably more. This seems ridiculous considering there were no customers waiting so not sure why there wasn't food ready! There is clearly no leadership or quality management at this Chicken Express! This is a terrible representation of this franchise because other locations provide great food and service. The Terrell store needs to get their act together!! read more

Drive through staff was extremely rude. I am hearing impaired in my right ear and stated that I could not hear her and she yelled at me to go to the window, She open the window like we were bothering her. She snapped at me after I order Mac and cheese because they were out...at 4pm in the afternoon. Then upon handing the order she dropped part of it out the window. They have a sign posted about being kind to their staff but I can understand why people treat them badly, they are mean, hateful people. The sign states it must keep it's good employees from what I seen, it wasn't the bitter woman working the drive through. She had no hair restraints on, no gloves while serving the food, I'm sure the health dept. would love to walk into this place. My husband called the owner of the franchise and tried to explain to him what happened and the owner started cussing at him. After the call ended, the owner continued to text my husband calling him a loser etc. After reading the reviews I am guessing we are not the only people who have been mistreated at this place and I feel the CE Franchise people need to step in because this arrogantly, crude individual is damaging the name. We spent $52.00 and ended up with ice cold gravy, soggy okra and a very bad taste in our mouth. If you want to be mistreated ( disability or not ) go to this place. Spent $45.00dollars today to get the #20 side was fried pickles. First they never answered the drive thru. So I pulled around to the window. Spanish young lady finally came to the window and I said I pulled around because I wasn't sure your headset was working. Her response was sometimes it does sometimes it don't and shrugged her shoulders. The fried pickles the worst Ive ever had,they had been sitting awhile I'm guessing and hard. I thought it was going to mess my teeth up.usually get gravy with order but no. The young lady acted as if I was an inconvenience to her. They all have choices on what job they want but she is not one for customer service at all. I can't believe that management would let a food place especially have issues with food and cooking times. I will not return here. I also work in the food industry and I have my food handler's license and also know the health inspector in Terrell. This place is getting worse. Went in at 5 PM to get some chicken tenders. I had to point out tenders on their menu to get the girl to understand what they were. Tenders come with white gravy. The liquid they gave me was NOT gravy, it was milk with some flour in it. It poured like milk. I tasted it and tasted flour. There was some black pepper in the bottom of the cup (when I poured it down the sink). i have been there 10 or so times passing thru Terrell Tx, this time the owner took care of out order after the guy behind the counter took my order. i like chicken express in general. this one i almost got in a fight with the owner over some damn cheese sticks. i ordered two meals both with choose your sides, I tried to showed him didn't get my sides and he said i didn't order it...called me a liar, acted a complete ass, i did as well and i could even eat my food because he was calling the police because i wouldn't leave, well i left, before it escalated into needing an ambulance i told him i was writing this and he said verbatim, "i haven't worried about a revue in two years"... what a complete douche bag. wouldn't even look at my meal to see it was missing, said it wasn't on the receipt like 3 times, its on the damn menu why does it need to be on the receipt... read more

I tried to order a tea at 5pm on a Tuesday. After 10 minutes of being the ONLY car in line and no one coming on to take my order, I finally just pulled around to see if maybe they were closed. Nope, so I went in. There was an employee on a smoke break out front, but no one inside. There was one truck sitting at the window waiting on their order, that's it. 15 minutes for a tea that never happened. Why bother to be open? read more

I love chicken express especially the tea however this store is the absolute worst experience I have ever had. To start not only were they rude the employees appearance was horrible. There were people working in the kitchen area who I'm not positive actually worked for the company as they wore no indication of employment. When I called to report my experience I was very rudely hung up on. The audacity of these employees is beyond having no respect! Update called back spoke with manager who and I quote said the franchise owner does not require them to wear hair nets. She also stated the reason for the street clothes and non identification was the chicken express shirts are too expensive and they get greasy so they just improvise. I dont know why I keep going to this location. Last 3 times I ordered chicken breast, I was told it would be ten minutes for it to cook. Waited. Last time I ordered breast and drove all the way home and discovered only thighs in the box. Yesterday, not wanting to wait on breasts, so I ordered 7 tenders instead, and discovered after I arrived home, there were only four and were mini strips. Had to drive back to facility, explained to young lady what happened, she refilled my order with a breast, leg, and thigh. I asked to speak to the manager and she indicated she was the mgr. I asked to to have the owners phone number and she refused. The times when I have gone inside, the young employees are always playing grab ass and not working on orders. Extremely unprofessional. Chicken Express has gone down in quality and size of chicken strips since they first opened. Dont know if it is cost cutting or what but strips used to be very large, now they are a joke. Ordering at drive-thru is risky because you never know what you will find in your box. Will not ever eat at Terrell location again. read more
