Open late with AMAZING service. It's hard pressed to find a place where the owners show how much they want to help and make sure you have a good experience. I ordered the KC BBQ, skeptical that it wasn't going to be good on a waffle, but was pleasantly surprised. I also ordered the cookie shake and it was incredible. After it was made, the employee even came to make sure it was made to my liking. I would have never imagined this level of service this late at night, let alone during the day. Amazing spot!

The chicken is amazing, super fresh, juicy, and definitely not greasy!!! Waffles are just the right consistency, not too hard or too...perfect!!! The ambience is family friendly and clean. Service is excellent. The owner happened to be the one taking our order; he's super nice!!!

THE BEST. Every time I come to this location I am greeted with the most genuinely nice workers ever. They are so caring and very on top of service. The vibe of the restaurant is also very modern and clean. In addition, the food is amazing everytime I come.

Chick In Waffle is the coolest! The employees that helped us out were very friendly and kind. They all really cared about how our experience went! And the inside was super modern and played good music. We did an online carry out and it was fast and easy. The Chick In Maple was a classic and delicious!! We also had the Spicy Chick - as someone who loves Nashville hot chicken, this was the hottest I've ever had and it was awesome! We also got The Churro which was a sweet waffle with ice cream, caramel, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. You literally can't go wrong with it! It was the perfect finale to our amazing dinner! HIGHLY recommend Chick In waffle if you get the chance!

Pretty unique fast food type concept. Really enjoyed my parmesean garlic chicken sandwich, and my wife liked her queso chicken waffle. Hope they open one closer to KCK!

It's okay. I wasn't blown away. We ordered delivery, food was cold, & plain. They had regular fries instead of waffle fries.

The service was amazing and it was nice and quiet and not that busy. I will say it is a little pricy. Also my chicken was not fully cooked.

The Waffler Theyhad the most unique waffles we've ever experienced! They were hot, fresh and made to order! The strawberry waffle and vanilla waffle were both delicious! There were chunks of fresh strawberries in the waffle and we opted for cinnamon and sugar on our vanilla waffle which made it even more delicious! Our dogs were absolutely in love with the woofles! They each had one and were begging for more! 5 paws all around! I love that they were in a individually wrapped package of 5 so you can save them if they are too big for your little pup.

The Waffler is preparing Euro street food in the form of Liege waffles (you may know them better as Belgian-style) and these fluffy, yeast-assisted, waffled discs are sensational platforms for multiple purposes. Whether you are wandering the streets of Brussels or Lenexa, the art of the Liege waffle is timeless. You can top them with fruit, spread on peanut butter or Nutella (my daughter's jam), or get your Southern funk on by dropping a piece of fried chicken on a stack. Liege style waffles are light enough to hold the crunch even after fruits are dropped on and sturdy enough to support chicken and gravy. Think of their culinary utility much the same as a tortilla, only with a different skill to the prep and a more robust flavor. This Waffler encounter had us sampling the basics, the vanilla waffle for me and my foodie sidekick with an orange-infused options. Both were delightful, dusted with powdered sugar, crisp, light, and classic. The vanilla went down so easily that I had to sample the Quiche Lorraine (or Quiche La-Poodle for you B-52's fans) and this eggy fave did not disappoint. Light, done perfectly on top and oh so savory. You're dropping $5 for a single waffle (or you can go $8 for a full chicken and waffles stack), so if you can pair the waffle with a great cup of coffee or fancypants coffee drink, you're in at $10-ish for a rather unique breakfast experience, and that's kind of the point. You want Eggos and Folgers? Yeah, I've been there, but thanks to options like The Waffler parked next to a Roasterie, I've stepped up my game. Pro tip: If you're wearing black, then beware the powdered sugar. The slightest breeze reminds you later of your choices. Since I did the waffle on my lap, I was bedazzled with sugar shrapnel on my black sweats. Kind of reminiscent of my high school geometry teacher, who was always chalk-dusted on the back of his blazer. Dude knew his angles, though.

This spot is owned by the same team behind Kate's Kitchen up north--which I've always found fantastic--and I'm happy to report this location is on that same elite wavelength. The Experience: The atmosphere is clean and impressively airy, making for a great morning vibe. Both the hostess and server were exceptionally engaging, even providing a personal water pitcher for the table--a small touch that makes a huge difference. The Food: Chicken Fried Chicken: This is the real deal. It was clearly prepared fresh, not frozen, which is a rarity these days. The Sides: The home potatoes were perfectly crispy, and the gravy was thick, peppery, and hit all the right notes. The Biscuit: This "super-sized" biscuit was essentially the icing on the cake. The Eggs: I ordered my eggs poached soft. They arrived a bit too soft (runny yolk was the goal, but these were just under), though in fairness, that's likely on me for the specific request! Verdict: If you want a breakfast that feels home-cooked with high-quality ingredients and attentive service, this is the place. I'll definitely be back for their famous French toast and medium poached eggs .

It is very spacious and provides two floors of seating. We got seated right away and we were offered a drink menu and also our waitress provided good suggestions from the menu. During our visit we tried the Brunch burgers and Dubai Strawberry cup for dessert. The burgers were cooked to perfection. The waffle instead of bun added a nice touch to the burger. The Dubai cup was also a hit. What was not a hit - the service. We placed our orders for our meal and it took the restaurant over 40 minutes to get our food to us. Our waitress didn't provide an update on what was going on or why the food was taking so long. When we got our food, the fries were cold which is probably because the food was already done and waiting to be served and no one got it. Our waitress didn't seem like she cared about the table or the patrons at the restaurant. We asked about our food a few times and whenever our waitress "checked" on the food, she just walked around the restaurant, not once checking on the food. The whole visit took us about 1.5 hours and majority of that time was waiting on our food and to get our check to pay. Overall this place is a great option for delicious food, just not great service.

They do use a waitlist system so I was happy about that. 3. It's a bar so not necessary great aesthetics but I enjoyed the large booths and they offer long tables for large parties. The music was at a good volume and the noise level wasn't too bad. I'd come again and I'd take friends who are visiting from out of town.
