Only reason I'm giving 1 star is because I have to to write this review. The teenage staff tonight were really testing my patience. Came here to support my nephews school fundraiser for an upcoming field trip they'll soon be taking. Ordered $93.39 worth of food...mind you I don't even eat chicken/meat anymore of any kind of meat so this was all to support my babies. Anyhoo-one of the staff working tonight came over to our table and informed my sister that she was supposed to receive 8 coupons for free breakfast sandwiches, with tonight's purchase, however he had 4 in his hand, wrapped in a copy of my receipt. The young man, asked if we could look through the bags to see if the other cards were by chance placed in the bags, and they weren't so he said he would be back with the other 4. He literally stood with us as we checked to see if we had already had them. But we DID NOT. If the young man never mentioned anything about these coupons, we wouldn't have even known this was an incentive for coming tonight. I allowed the kiddies to dine in. So many of their classmates were present and they wanted to hang out with their friends a bit. After they were finished and we began cleaning, preparing to leave, and I remembered the young man never returned with the vouchers/coupons that he had mentioned. So I went to the front looking for him and explained the situation to who I assumed was a manager, because I couldn't find the original person we had spoken to, however the young man we originally spoke to and another young lady were congregated together and I could hear them saying they had already given us the gift cards as if I was trying to finesse them for more. I was appalled! Just disgusted and disappointed. Like I literally just spent damn near $100 just because and you really think I'd be pressed for some free sandwich coupons?!!!???!!! Help me make it make sense! Have some COUTH for goodness sake's! I tell you one thing! They won't ever have to worry about my bring my babies here ever again! School event or not. I've always been a fan of this company. They make you feel valued. Also this location has large chocolate shakes, as most have gone to one size. The employees here are polite and work so hard. They have my complete respect, but this one can be difficult to navigate. Its location, location, location. Right off 95 and the Prince William County Parkway, it's always busy. The drive thru lines are best avoided. Kudos to the employees working it, but it reminds me of the Beltway. Relaxing and peace, are important during a meal. This is the Times Square of Chik Fil A's. Yet the food is quite good. Honestly I don't know how they do it, but a very clean location. Taste is subjective, but the drive thru and people everywhere just isn't my cup of tea. It's Chik-Fil-a so the standards of friendliness amongst the staff is expected and delivered. The food was also as expected. Good quality and fast service. If you are trying these places for the very first time and writing a Yelp review afterwards, I can only assume you are coming from another country, planet, or pulled up in a 1981 Delorean with last name McFly or Brown. In terms of quality, the food is up to par in terms of temperature, texture, and seasoning. The parking lot is a disaster since there are twin lanes for drive through but if you are dining in or carrying out, there is no way to drive around the drive-through lanes which are typically packed or even worse, once you find a parking spot you could be blocked by the same traffic when pulling out. Like most Chick-Fil-As, the team moves pretty fast in terms of taking and processing orders compared to other franchises where one has to wait several minutes even without a line. However, this location is a victim of its own success since it is way too busy (there needs to be more rival establishments nearby for a solid second choice) therefore expect an average 10min minimum wait whether you are doing drive through or even ordering ahead. read more

I would improve their attention to detail when packaging orders based on the customers requests. I purchased 4 adult meals, 1 kids meal, and 1 single sandwich. The side for the adult meals was waffle fries and macaroni and cheese was the side for the kids meal. I admittedly didn't check the bag before I left because they usually don't make mistakes. I purchased this food for my daughter's teacher and her for lunch, so I didn't have time to come back to the store when I noticed the error in her side. I immediately called the store, in which I was directed to their customer care line through an automated system. I explained what happened and the customer service representative told me to return to the store with my receipt and explain what happened. She also explained that she would send my name to the store as a means of rectifying the issue. I was fine with that because I figured I'd take my daughter to pick it up after school. I arrive at the store, and the mobile app wasn't working to pull up my order. I provided my name, email address, and rough estimate of how much I spent during lunch for the cashier to locate my mobile order in their system. Although it might not have been their intention, the interaction with him explaining my story to a manager and them not speaking with me earlier, made me feel as if they were questioning my integrity over some $3 macaroni and cheese, after I spent around $70 for lunch. The young man was able to locate my order in the system, and I reconfirmed that the only thing missing was the macaroni and cheese. The young man offered me a free sandwich, but I don't eat Chick-fil-A. I only purchase it for other people, including my toddler. The fact that anyone would assume that someone would fabricate a messed up order, over some $3 macaroni and cheese when it's not even baked with cheese pulls, is absolutely asinine. Given that Chick-fil-A is known for their service, I must say that they failed me today. The included pictures are screenshots from my call, to prove that I tried to contact them after I noticed the mistake and actually spoke to a human about the issue and from the receipt to show that I should have received macaroni and cheese for her meal. This is the first time I've been disappointed with Chick-fil-A. today I decided to stop and get some breakfast on the way to work and I ordered a chicken egg and cheese biscuit with pepper jack. I got the meal with a coffee. I checked my bag it had all the correct amount of food in it that I ordered. I hit the road open up my sandwich it turned out it was a chicken egg and cheese English muffin. This is the first time that any Chick-fil-A has ever mistaken, a biscuit for English muffin. But this one definitely did. But, today wasn't so great and which is why I'm taking my time to write this review because going through the line to get the service I got was a waste of time... and money. None of which I got from this particular restaurant that might as well be a Popeyes or KFC with how they operate. The highlights from my visit are employees that just didn't seem to care, I asked to add a milk shake to my order after the employee abruptly just took what he thought was my order and didn't confirm and started to walk away. Then after getting to the window to get my food there was no milkshake and when I mentioned it the employee he already started walking away. I then pulled up to the window and you'd think that would cue interest from the employees, but when I realized the employee didn't add the milkshake to my order I just left. After leaving and I was already making a right onto a busy road I realized there was no straw for my drink and then later when eating my fries I found them to be overcooked and chewy and lacking even a little bit of salt. I love Chik-Fil-A, However the customer of this location makes me feel as if I stopped by the worst Mom and Pop Shop in town. 3 times on 3 separate occasions, I've had to go through the Drive through lines multiple times to pick up my Mobile order. The team members helping me as well as other customers......just aren't cut from the same from the Chik-fil-A cloth of the rest of the successful locations. On my 4th time about to circle around, I was told that I was proceeding through the line incorrectly. Wow, I get it, but you couldn't of told me that the 2nd or 3rd time. There are others who complain about what I'm complaining about. Customer service in the mobile order drive through line. The drive through line at this location is different than other locations. It's wrapped around twice. After understanding what went wrong, I get it, the reps are not recognizing the error drivers are making (which is easy to make given the million signs posted) (too much isn't always a good thing). There temperament is quit different as well. I'm not a difficult person and I now see where the error lies. Communication. Please fix the communication. The last several times we have come into your location for a family dinner my children have looked forward to playing in your play area only to be completely disappointed because it is still closed. You were once our location of choice to get dinner and give the kids some play time. In our home Chick-fil-A was lovingly called Moo Moos because of the cow logo my eldest started calling it that and it stuck. You hold fond memories for us and it was very hard during the pandemic when we were no longer allowed to eat inside. Then as the store reopened inside dining, we have continued to wait for the ever-loved play place to open yet all this time later it is still closed. My daughter this last visit asked me a very good question. "Why is their play area closed but when we go to Mc Donald's their play place is open?" Considering my 3-year-old's questions and observations I asked the team member at the register, "why is the play area closed still and when will it be open?" The response that was given was we don't know why its still closed and we don't think they will open it again. I would like to encourage this store to evaluate why they are keeping the play area closed? These play spaces provide a great service to the families of your local community. On your website is says "At Chick-fil-A®, we love serving others - both in and outside our restaurants. From supporting local charities to hosting school spirit nights, Chick-fil-A® restaurants are committed to giving back in ways that are most meaningful to our customers and our communities." I have highlighted some sections of your community statement that do not line up with the poor choice to keep the play areas closed. I've seen plenty of Chick-Fil-A locations and how busy they get back home in California, but this place gets a lot more packed. When I stopped by here, the place was full. There were no open seats, and it seemed that every little league team came here to have lunch that day :-/ After a short wait in line, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and an iced coffee. I got it to go, and I had my food in a short amount of time. I went back to the car and ate my food there. Afterward, I stopped at a gas station right next to this place, and continued on my journey. If you come here on a weekend, don't expect to dine in. The cashier told me that this place gets very packed on weekends, so they make every order to-go by default. My only complaint is it does tend to get VERY busy, but it's also the busiest Chic-fil-a in the states! Anytime after 4:00pm expect to be waiting in line at the drive through or trying to find parking. Saturdays, you can ask the cop directing traffic in the parking lot about how busy it gets on Saturdays! Everyone who serves you is always polite and helpful. When you sit inside they will ask and get you refills and even take your trash away for you which is quality service for fast food prices! Returned to this CFA a few weeks after the last one, and I'm not sure what happened? It wasn't the same. The chicken nuggets were the smallest nuggets I've seen at any CFA, TINY. And the chicken breast on our sandwiches were also the smallest I've seen at any CFA. I've been to a lot of CFAs. Service is still good, but the pickup area inside needs improvement. It's a disaster in there when it starts to get even just a little busy, tiny area to pick up orders and what seemed like people standing as close to the counter as they possibly can, blocking off people whose orders are being called. read more
