I was sucked into the hype when they starting popping up in the Chicago area. I remembering going to one in Atlanta about 10 years ago but didn't remember much about it. I have been here several times over the last year and I have always found the food enjoyable and delicious. Having to go to the counter for refills is kind of annoying, but the employees are always pleasant and courteous. I really want to give this store a better rating. I think the staff is super friendly and the quality of the food is excellent. But I don't know what it is about the drive thru and getting my order correct, but literally every time I order in the drive thru, something is missing in my order. I've gotten to the point where I will have to check my order before I depart. I ALWAYS have a missing item. And when I say Alway, I mean every time. And I usually go once a week. Usually, it's the extra fries, I know to look for those. Today those were there, but of the two kids nugget meals I ordered, only one meal had nuggets in the bag. I now have to look inside each bag because I can't assume that all of the items in the meal bags are going to be there. So frustrating. In my opinion, Chick-Fil-A is the standard when it comes to fast food. The Wheaton restaurant consistently serves me a meal in under 1 minute: can't argue with that! Plus ... being new to Chicagoland, this location is constantly jammed with people! The staff is super nice, efficient, and professional. The restaurant is always clean, as are the grounds. It's probably beside the point that their food is delicious. 1. The people are ALWAYS pleasant. You see the management team actually managing and helping out their people. I am a fan of the service they provide. Their crew is honestly friendly. Either that or these people should take acting more seriously. 2. I prefer the Spicy Chicken deluxe. It is pretty spicy. My only "issue" is that they don't have cheddar or Swiss cheese as an option. BEST CHICKEN BREAKFAST EVER!! The Chick-n-mini's are amazing, but are only available before 10:30am. It's a little piece of chicken between two pieces of bread. Chick-fil-a is always 5-star! Their menu is really great and so affordable. Once you enter their place you will receive a very nice greeting. Their employees are kind, jolly, and cheerful. You can really see that they really do their job and are happy to serve every customer they have. Their menu here is overflowing, all of the selections are unexpected, and the quality is pretty awesome. I ordered some of their sandwiches, the meat is tender, and the cheese is tasty. Also, all the veggies they used in their food are fresh and new. Their interior is fine, organized, and bright. Their seating is wide, you can find a lot of vacant seats, and their place is huge. I really appreciate the service of this place. All of their staff is friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Their frosted Lemonade is also highly recommended for the first-timer. Terrible service. My daughters favorite fast food. Friday night needed to pick my daughter up after 7 hour track meet so stopped to get her favorites. Only one in restaurant ordering food yet after over 10 minutes of watching them fill drive up orders still no order. Asked about my order and was told that grilled nuggets take longer and I would have to wait. Afterr I watched them fill 3 orders of grilled nugget for drive thru was not happy. Received a call asking where I was as my daughter was waiting by her self to be picked up so I asked again about my order and was told I would have to wait. Told them I could not wait and to give me order as it was and their response was basically a shrug of ok who cares. This location never gets another penny from me! read more

I've been here twice before via the drive thru when they first opened, for lunch. I don't recall their food being super memorable so it's been a while since I've been here...plus I try not to eat fast food ever if I can help it. I did learn recently they have breakfast though so it's on my way to work and decided to try it. I was a little intimidated by the line in the drive thru, but I peeked inside and that line seemed even longer so I stuck it out in the drive thru - there are two lines so it went really quick. I loved that my meal had a choice of coffee creamer for my coffee. It wasn't the healthiest of breakfasts but it was exactly what I wanted...it was pretty good, though almost $8 so a tad on the pricey side. My family and I go to this location probably once a week. It's a quick and convenient way for me to feed the kids on their way to practices. I can honestly say that 9/10 times we go to the drive thru, our order is wrong. Our order is not complex so I don't understand the high rate of errors. I have gotten in the habit of checking the order before pulling away and every time I alert the staff of the error, they get snarky. Every. Time. I am not asking for them to beg and grovel for forgiveness. What I am asking is that you try to make less errors and when you do make an error, just make it right without attitude. read more

Chick fil a is hands down the best place to get a fast food chicken sandwich. If you don't like I wouldn't order from anywhere else. Their business model is amazing and they have a huge emphasis on customer service. I've never had great customer service like I get at chick fil a at any other fast food restaurant. Example they have someone that works the lobby that will offer to refresh your beverage most of the time. They are always polite and cheerful when taking your order. The other thing and the most important is that they are consistent. Look I love to throw down when it comes to food. I'm adamant about the quality, freshness, taste and the list goes on. I think all the people who have given negative reviews probably let the insane hype about this place influence them. I got sick of the hype, but I love it here. Just crispy enough on the outside, so tender and juicy on the inside. I am referring to the basic chicken sandwich. Chicken, a pickle slice, and buns. That is all you need. No sauce or any other nonsense. Although I am sure the Deluxe sandwich is good. I give this place 4 stars instead of 5 for three reasons. 1: The lines are insane. I think the chicken is amazing, but I wouldnt want to wait 15 minutes in the drive thru for it. 2: Expensive. $5.89 for the basic combo of sandwich, fries, and a drink. 3: The play area. I know fecal and saliva remnants are all around us folks. But do we really need to bring more of that around with a play area full of kids full of snot and who knows what else. At the end of the day, the chicken sandwich and the WAFFLE FRIES put a smile on my face, a warm feeling in my stomach, and some hope in my heart. This place is not open on Sundays because the head honchos are religious. I am religious. There is nothing wrong with that. They want their employees be able to attend religious services. Last time I checked though, on Sundays, you can go to services morning, noon, and night. Also, this one day they are closed, they are losing out on money to be made which could be donated to various causes. Also, what about people out there who could use this extra day of work? Had dinner here last night. Firdt time at a Chick Fil A. The price was very reasonable and the food was quite good. What impressed us most was the service. Our order was taken quickly and they got it RIGHT (I hate it when you don't get what you order). The best part for us was the very attentive table service. Several times crew members stopped by our table to make sure that we had enough napkins, did we need our table cleared, how about a soda refill...all delivered in the most courteous way !! It wasn't as if these kids didn't have anything to do, they were fairly busy on a Friday evening...I think it's just part of the service. We would like to send a BIG thanks to Andrew who responded to our thanks with a "my pleasure" and I think he sincerely meant it. I know this chain is big in the south, and this location was PACKED, but I just don't get the hype... I mean, it's OK, but just OK. It's a good chicken sandwich. I tried the spicy version with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and mayo (the deluxe, I think it was called). It was decent and a solid effort. However, if you're going with someone else, make sure they want Chicken, because there are only about 7 items on the menu. Two types of fried chicken sandwiches (spicy and regular) with basically a patty and a bun. Those same two patties "deluxe" with cheese, lettuce, and tomato. A couple of grilled chicken options, and chicken strips. So, yeah..., y'all better want to get your chicken sandwich on. Now, I know, that's what they're all about. It's like going to a Rolling Stones show and complaining they played nothing but Rolling Stones songs, but I didn't bite into the sandwich and feel knocked over by the greatness of this sandwich. I mean, if you're gonna basically have three sandwiches on the menu, grilled, fried, or spicy chicken with choice of conventional toppings, then those sandwiches better be the best fricking chicken sandwiches in the world. I don't know where the greatest chicken sandwich in the world is located, or if I could actually be knocked over by a chicken sandwich, but neither experience is to be found here. What can you say about Chick Fil A? It's really just the BEST fast food around. You can be healthy and eat a little crazy. Just fantastic. You can go grilled or fried, nuggets or strips, salads or wraps; your options are extremely plentiful as long as you accept that you'll be eating chicken of some sort. And as someone who worked at CFA in Orlando for a couple years I know how clean and fresh everything is. They are extremely strict about cleanliness and a great atmosphere. Before my senior year, I rarely went to Chick-Fil-A. I was familiar with the restaurant and its food, but for some reason it seldom came up when I thought about picking up a quick bite of food. However, my first visit back changed my entire perception of the restaurant. Chick-Fil-A was offering free chicken sandwiches to its customers who owned an account in the restaurant's app. Both of my friends had accounts and wanted to redeem their free sandwich during our lunch period, so they convinced me to create an account and we drove over to retrieve our free lunch. The drive through tends to be backed up around noon, so we went inside to order. After I placed my order, I barely had time to find a seat before I was approached by a worker with my meal in hand. It was the perfect temperature as I unwrapped the packaging, and the crispy breading balanced out the juicy chicken flawlessly, creating a flavorful sandwich that seemed to melt in my mouth. A worker then approached us at our table with an ice cream cone in hand and offered it to us free of charge. She returned a few minutes later with another cone to hand to me, making sure we both had one. We didn't know whether there was a reason behind this act of kindness or not, but it lifted our moods greater as we headed back to finish the school day. It is safe to say that the quick service, delicious food, and kind workers will keep us coming back for more. read more

They are usually amazing but I had cancelled one of my credit cards and accidentally made an order through that card. I pull up to the drive thru and they tell me my card was denied.... AT THE DRIVE THRU WINDOW. Not through the APP that I used but the worker in the window tells me that my card won't work and asks me if I want to use another payment method, to which I respond that I have no other methods and request to have the order cancelled. I visited your establishment on Saturday March 30th 2013. At about 9am I entered your establishment and was not greeted. 10 minutes later a young lady took my order and never greeted me or smiled. (BTW there was only 1 party of four people in front of me and two employees standing around the corner while one talked and one cleaned the same spot of a table for 10 minutes straight). When she took my order she didn't ask my name or give me a number. Mind you there was only 2 customers ordering so maybe it wasn't needed. I ordered Chicken Minis and about 5 minutes after order I went to the counter to check on them and waited some more. Another girl then walked passed me 5 times with my food before I had to stop her and ask if that was MY ORDER. It was. Two things bother me enough that I could possibly NEVER go to the Wheaton, IL location again. First I have called 3 times and left messages three times for a manager to call me back. Being a former manager I feel that management should be aware of these issues. NINE days later and 3 calls later NO ONE WILL RETURN MY CALLS! The other thing that bothered me was how your employees treated every customer as I noticed I was not treated any different. The biggest issue was a young boy that ran up to the counter in an upset/loud/excited manner asking why there is no recycling bins and your helping kill the earth. I watch 3 out of 4 employees turn their back to this young boy and the fourth was like a deer in headlights. The boys father got his son and they left the establishment. What happened next is downright RUDE. Your employees actually started laughing about the situation (mind you I am at the counter waiting on my food) and started making fun of the child in front of a paying customer. Each time thinking there must be something on this (very small) menu that causes everyone to rave about their food. I have yet to find it. I've had the chicken wrap, char-grilled chicken club, and the chicken strips. Each item was an average fast-food offering at best and rather expensive. $20 to feed 3. I don't get it. I had the grilled chicken wrap, it had nicely seasoned chicken, and fresh lettuce and tomato. Their waffle fries were good too, and they sell you dipping sauces for the fries, I got Blue-Cheese.
