Chick-Fila-A of Wheaton, please do something about your drive thru situation. I have heard stories but never witnessed it for myself until today. You used to rope off the aisles for the drive thru to make sure people couldn't cut (many customers don't want to drive around the building since it's SUCH an inconvenience to them - heaven forbid -insert eye roll). And so those that follow directions end up inconvenienced without those ropes there. My friend and I had just finished licking our fingers after a delectable chicken dinner (the Lord's chicken indeed), when we decided a sweet treat was absolutely essential to end the nights Chick-fil-A experience. We were scrolling on the app, fantasizing about the taste of a milkshake on our tongues, but my friend said, "it's too bad they don't have a smaller size." Suddenly, and without warning, an employee emerged at our table with a luscious vanilla milkshake with a cherry on top. "Would you ladies like a milkshake on us?" He asked. Our mouths stood agape. This was our first time to Chick-Fil-A. (And our LAST.) If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. No customer service. We stood there for over 5 minutes while a half dozen workers behind the counter completely ignored us, milling around looking everywhere but at their two lone customers. UNBELIEVABLE! I am writing this to complain about the atrocious service I received tonight. I have been going to the Wheaton Chic Fil A for the past 12 years and never had a regretful experience. I ordered my usual spicy chicken sandwich, fries and chocolate milkshake thru the drive thru. I waited close to 8 minutes, although there was no one in front of me at the time. Secondly, when the order finally came, the lady there tried to give me a chocolate milk instead and I stated no that I had ordered a milkshake instead. She then got her manager Who told me they would charge me for a milkshake instead of the milk. Despite the wait and the fact they screwed up , I said no and the manager stated she would give me a refund. I checked my credit card and no refund was given. My friend then proceeded to open her meal and find out she got chicken strips instead of the 8 count nugget that she requested. They then proceeded to ignore her when she requested the workers to take their blu milkshake flagger. Such a waste of space and time. I ordered from the mobile app before hand and honestly waited as if I was in a line maybe even longer. Never doing that again. Also felt really dumb because there are no clear instructions where to park or where to go after you scan your app. I've also had CONSISTENT mess ups with my drive thru orders. the food is about the same as other chick-fil-a's but the mobile drive through was the worst addition they could have made. this is a very busy location and it also has a small parking lot where you have to squeeze your way around. the mobile drive through just adds to this by only having one regular lane for the drive thru so the lines can get very long. 9 times out of 10 the mobile drive thru is empty and serves no purpose. read more

As a family we used to love this chick-fil-a. But this last run thru was a nightmare in waiting. Aside from the requirement to circle the building just to enter the drive thru, I placed my order. I almost always order extra pickles but this time clearly someone was in a nasty mood inside. From the usual 2-3 pickle slices that come in the sandwich, when I arrived home I opened my sandwich to reveal not a normal amount of pickles but 13 pickle slices and a VERY soggy bun. As I'm eating my fries I notice the lower half of the fry box is just half of a fried potato. This restaurant leaves me some very big concerns on quality nowadays. I give Chick-fil-a a five - star rating because it lives up to what it purports to be. The facility is great, the service is exceedingly pleasant and efficient and the food is tasty. The prices are beyond fair making this place one of the best deals around. This particular shop is conveniently located on Butterfield Rd. in a major commercial concentration in Wheaton. The store is clean and provides a relaxing place to enjoy one's fare. I particularly like the breakfast here as chicken - centric morning meals are actually a nice change of pace for me. Their coffee is also surprisingly good. And, of course, you can't beat the prices. It is a go - to for me when I want a good, inexpensive and quick meal. read more

Today my little guy turned 9 and he insisted on going to Chick-fil-A Wheaton (301 E Loop Rd, Wheaton, IL) for dinner. Coming from such a large family and wanting them all to come celebrate with us I knew I needed to give them a heads up that 17 of us were heading their way. I called this morning and spoke with a manager (I think her name was Jane-I didn't write it down‍). She was so kind and told me she would let them know and call me back. Later today she called me back and told me to have a great time, everything was taken care of and to ask for Neph when we arrived. Once we got there we were pleasantly surprised to find a whole row of tables with reserved signs on them. To top that off, one of their workers, Nick, came over to introduce himself and let us know he was there to make sure everything was perfect. HOW AWESOME IS THAT?! And everything was. After we had eaten Nick came over to bring a stuffed animal to the Birthday boy! Which by the way, has not put it down yet and it's been a couple hours. A HUGE THANK YOU to this location and everyone that joined arms in making sure this cutie pies birthday was perfect. We all know that ChickFilA is the best fast food around (see my review for the Naperville location). This review is based solely on the LAYOUT of the Wheaton location's setup. Thumbs DOWN! Unlike Naperville's, which from the time you get in the door is neatly cordoned off to indicate the route the line should follow, this just has a big open space to let the crowd arrange itself. And you know very well that crowds are not good at arranging themselves. People either stand there shuffling around looking at one another, or they take advantage and jump ahead when they clearly weren't next when the cashier calls out. Once the order is taken, there isn't a good separate "waiting for my food" area, so you're pretty much back to the shuffling crowd area. At least our food got to us quickly, even on a busy week-end, though it tasted like it had been sitting for a bit. If I have to visit this location again (and I might, since I go to the Whole Foods next door on occasion), it will be drive through all the way, baby; we'll see if that fares any better. Overall, the setup at this ChickFilA does not get an A. read more

I ordered the basic Chic-fil-a meal today, on my lunch break, and the fries were over cooked, very dark in color (a brownish gold color), and they were hard! The inside was closed so I I walk up to the door where the workers serve customers at. I tell the guy what was wrong and I gave him my fries. About 2 minutes later, he gives me a bag of fries. I get in my car, drive off and eat a couple fries. The top portions looked "new" but after those few fries, the rest looked like the fries I had literally just given back to them! I was disappointed, and stopped eating the fries and began eating the chicken sandwich. It was stringy and TOUGH! I had to literally PULL the sandwich with strength to "break it" from the rest of the sandwich!! I figured that maybe it was just the first bite that was that way. I took another bite, and the same thing! At this point, I'm about 10 minutes from the restaurant and had to turn BACK around and go through an infinite amount of red lights to just get my money back. They didn't even give me all of my money back; only the cost of the sandwich and fries! I couldn't believe I had such a horrible experience at Chick-fil-A. I'm very disappointed. read more

Chick-fil-A is hands-down the best fast food restaurants in the entire Chicagoland area. I cannot say enough good things about it the food is probably the most delicious food I've ever eaten in my life of fast food restaurants. I always go with the grilled chicken sandwich or the original Chick-fil-A sandwich. The service is above average and the people are always nice and polite. I would also suggest that you try the shakes that they have. The waffle fries are better than the fries at all of the other fast food restaurants. If you get the Chick-fil-A sauce your meal will be 100 times better hands-down. The place is always joyful and they do a good job of keeping it clean. I come to this location several times a week and with the new app that they have you can rack up some really good points for free food really quickly. read more

Nice quick lunch. Was busy at about 1 but by the time we left cleared out a bunch. I had the southwest salad with chicken and heathy good option. They had a lot of staff on so everything went fast. Restaurant was clean. The little play area was great and kept my grandson busy after eating. I like that it's enclosed as it keeps the sounds to mostly in the play area.
