We came to Sonder while visiting Cincinnati for a long weekend. We really liked Sonder. They have…read morean extensive drink list. The restaurant was really clean with a contemporary look about it. We chose to eat on the patio area. Again it was clean and updated. The service was really good. Both servers were incredibly friendly and really seemed like they enjoyed working at Sonder. For food we did nachos. They were really good. We also split the large wing platter. The wings are breaded and were delicious. The server recommended "hot honey.". They did not disappoint, but if you are looking for spicy, they were not.

This great wrap that I enjoyed was the least memorable part of my first meal at my new favorite place to eat and drink. Funny because it was the main course. Apparently, they brew everything they have on tap. Their shining star is an IPA called You Betcha! I don't like IPAs, but I love You Betcha! They have a grape variation of You Betcha which is flat-out delicious. Every time they'd stop by and ask if I want another drink, they got a progressively more sloppy, Fargo-accent laden "You Betcha!" Let's talk about their beer cheese for a second. I had it with some tortilla chips, but then ordered some pretzels with beer cheese. To be clear, they also sent out mustard with the pretzels and cheese. This beer cheese is now my favorite food and beverage. I think they should serve their beer cheese in a mug... with a pretzel straw.... it would be great for the ol' cholesterol. The staff ranges from plain friendly to snarky-yet-hilarious. The customers... were friendly. Like, the whole place was cool, and attracted cool people. It made for a fun evening. Highly recommend!

The star of the show! A Hazy NE IPA. It is a bit on the small size for the price but tastes amazing.

The staff remained collected and was not trying to push us out to open up the table. The food was amazing! You cannot order anything bad here. I was so glad we got the cheesecakes as well for dessert as it was well worth it. We truly were stuffed from this meal and even took some food home.

Our family sat down and enjoyed the vegetable combination to start and it was just enough to take the edge off before digging j to our main dishes. I substituted pesto hummus for the standard hummus, in addition to the baba ghanoush, taboulli, falafel, and grape leaves along with some pita bread; a great sampler to enjoy the flavors. For my entree I enjoyed a lamb wrap and some lentil soup, while the rest of my family had a few other selections. Everyone left feeling satisfied but not stuffed - the perfect balance. The service was ok. Which would be the only thing from getting a five star rating. Our server was polite, but not engaging. This was my second time at the restaurant and I would definitely go back, in addition to recommending it. 8/10

Came here during burger week and I'm so glad I did!…read more The burger for the week was so good. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The restaurant was busy and on an hour wait but I ended up sitting at the bar and when with them brining busy the food came out quick and made right. I loved the espresso martini and I can't wait to come back and try more of their menu.

Not a great first impression. I would like to say the servers were wonderful. If I could rate them alone it would be 5 stars- they were the majority of the 3 we gave for this visit. The food itself- no one was very impressed with- it was all just ok. The only stand out was the Southern chicken and waffles. Nice heat and both were crispy. Everything else was just bland- (between us we had eggs Benedict, breakfast burger, denver omelettes, French toast, southern chicken and waffles). The Nashville Mary had some appetizers attached- those were good- the drink itself wasn't. For 7 of us, the bill was $200. We have heard good things about the All-Day menu so we may go back to try that- the brunch for us is a no- there are better options in the area like Coopers Hawk, Cheesecake Factory, Toast & Berry, Cozy's etc

My colleague still found ways to complain, first about the iced tea (supposedly made with tap water) and then about the place not having desserts. They're not listed on the main menu. We later asked and the waitress confirmed they do not have desserts. The closest would be their bubble tea I suppose. I started my meal with a thai tea which was pretty sweet and served in a typical short mug. I ordeed the pad kra pow with beef, level 4 spice. My colleague ordered the pork veggies stir fry with snow pea and baby corn, level 3. When the food came out, my colleagues arrived within about 4 minutes of ordering, his tasted like a level 5 so he thought. Mine came out a couple minutes later and seemed like a level 1. Not sure why mine was so bland and his was so spicy. The beef on my pad kra pow is decent but bland and you don't get very much. Once done, you're left with a big bowl of soup broth basically and lots of bell peppers and onions. There are no diced thai peppers or sliced jalapeños in this dish when ordering level 4. Maybe microscopic red pepper flakes which did not make it spicy. Maybe should have ordered a 5. My colleague seemed to enjoy his dish though. I just wanted something sweet after dinner and this was maybe the first thai restaurant I've ever seen that doesn't offer dessert.

I showed up and placed the order and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. The staff apologized for not being able to get through, there was an issue with their phone that day. Would recommend and will come back in the future!
