My family attends Chick-fil-A every Saturday morning the way other families attend things with better parking and a bulletin. We have done this long enough that it no longer feels like a choice. It is a condition. Henry, who is nearly eight, has not willingly eaten food anywhere else since sometime during the first Bush administration, a claim I recognize as medically impossible but which feels, spiritually, correct. He will eat here. He will eat the Chick-n-Minis specifically, and only here, and I have stopped asking why, the same way you stop asking why the moon controls the tide. It just does. Some things you accept. I opened my biscuit and studied it longer than a man should study a biscuit. The chicken inside was shaped, with real and startling precision, like the state of South Carolina, complete with a little coastal flourish where Charleston would be. I have now opened at least eleven of these biscuits over the past eleven weeks and every single fillet inside bears the same coastline, which either means Chick-fil-A employs a cook with a very specific and very committed sense of cartography, or something else is going on that I don't have the security clearance to understand. I choose not to look into it further. Some questions close doors you can't reopen. On Clemson home game Saturdays we get it to go, which is the only variation permitted in the routine, and which we treat with the gravity of a constitutional amendment. I order from the table on the app, where the name on file has read "Cluck Norris" for longer than I can remember. The receipt comes out the same way every time, printed and delivered by an employee who has clearly seen it before and has decided, correctly, that this is not the hill to react on. A man ordering a chicken biscuit under the alias of a beloved television actor's poultry-based alter ego is, to this staff, simply a day that ends in "Y." I have enormous respect for a team that will not give me the reaction I am so clearly fishing for. Jeri was there this Saturday, at a table near the window, wearing a cardigan with a multi-cat T-shirt busy enough to qualify as a small weather event, and she said hello to every single person who walked past her, including several people who did not appear to know her and one man who was clearly trying to get to the bathroom. She has been doing this for as long as anyone can remember, greeting the entire restaurant one table at a time like a woman running for a very small, very beloved office. Nobody has ever seen her in a bad mood. I have started to suspect this is less a personality trait and more a structural feature of the building, like the ceiling. Five stars, because Henry finished every Chick-n-Mini, and because South Carolina keeps showing up inside my biscuit, and because I am going back next Saturday whether I understand any of it or not. read more

Our first employee asked if we wanted the meal, we received only nuggets. came back around the drive thru told the second employee how we ordered meals and received only nuggets (no sauce either). the second employee said oh. we paid for a set of fries and sauce. feel like usually the fries would have been offered for free because of the mistake. read more

I rarely take time to review a chain restaurant, but we love chick-fil-a and have eaten at dozens of them all over the country. This is one of the better ones I think. We've eaten breakfast here 3 times and it's been great each time. They've always had good efficient counter staff and they food tastes fresh. A lot of locations get too ahead making there food items and they lose a lot when they sit and get old. We've always felt that the biscuits and minis here taste fresh and we appreciate that. read more

Good location but very busy. Service was pretty quick for lunch. We did have someone take our order outside. It seems quicker that way. We did a pretty large order and they got everything correct even our condiments. Only trouble we have is getting out of the parking lot as well as on to wade hampton boulevard. read more

This location has only one lane for the drive through but it had three outdoor staffers, two taking orders on ipads and one cashier. The line moved pretty fast. The logistics of the parking lot during a crowded lunchtime are challenging. The drive through was enough cars deep that getting into the drive through blocked traffic on the main road, Wade Hampton Blvd. Ironically, just up the street was a Bojangles with not a single car in the drive through. For chicken. Chick-Fil-A is very successful and this location was quick, polite, fresh hot food and my order was correct - everything you would expect from the brand. read more

Faster isn't always better. I'm addicted to the half/half but have to remember this location will not serve it to you unless you order on the app. LOL they're so fast that I always forget to check if I got half/half get home to just sweet tea. I have to take some blame for not remembering they're good for this stunt at this location but would be nice to pay the up charge for once and not throw out the whole drink each time. Aside from that it's chick fil-a, foods good, the lines always crazy, and the employees are always great. read more

Eh. It has the consistent CFA quality we all know and love, but this location is too small and easily overwhelmed by the number of people coming into the dining room and drive thru, even with the extra staff they have on hand. But, it's the closest one to my house so this is where I go . read more

My family and I have visited this location many times over the years. The restaurant is always clean and the cashiers are always friendly. The employees do a great job of checking on the patrons at the tables to see if you need condiments, refills, napkins, etc. Much like any other Chick-fil-A, the food is consistent and cooked perfectly. They provide lots of condiments on request and they always prepare the food as requested. Admittedly, it's still just fast-food, but it's fast-food done right. Chick-fil-A is always a big hit with the kids, and they sponsor a spirit night for our kids school which is above and beyond. read more

Perhaps a waste of time to review Chick-fil-A - particularly in Greenville - but have been thinking about them recently in light of the latest flare up in the continued controversy about what they "support". I'm a 100% human rights socialist and have no tolerance for bigotry against any group. I don't like the fact that CFA has definitely supported various hate groups over the years. However, many similar corporations do the same - and worse, often cryptically, and the overall picture of Chick-fil-A's practices and operations is really outstanding and something to be celebrated. The founders of the business have always been up front about their strong religious background and practice. They are 100% entitled to their opinions and running their business as they like and contributing to causes they support. It must be recognized that whatever you think, this is working VERY well, for everyone involved. As to basic standards and practices, their employees are treated better than perhaps any others in this industry. Their basic pay is WAY above the standard - $13/hr starting I believe in most settings. For those on the Left (like me) pushing for decent wages this should be acknowledged and celebrated. AND these employees work at most a 6 day workweek. Again, this is quite a desirable worker's rights outcome, whatever the underlying source. I believe CFA workers have a variety of other perks and incentives to facilitate advancement, education, etc. In the face of all of this "socialist" worker's rights praxis, Chick-fil-A seems to be making a HUGE financial success of it. Every store I've seen is jammed, pretty much every hour of the day. In dealing with this success, does Chik-fil-A rely a skeleton, overworked staff? NO. They do the opposite. Counters are always manned by big, efficient and friendly teams and the Drive-thrus are manned by multiple helpers to speed customers through the process. They have a fantastic App that allows for all kinds of improved efficiency. Hate to break it to my more reactionary neighbors but Chik-fil-A is a shining example of how operating a business by really taking care of your staff can be a massive success. If they can do it, then why can't other similar businesses - hiding their profit grubbing behind fake "pro-business" nonsense about the "impracticality" of proper full staffing, reduced work week/hours, providing extra customer service tools and paying a DECENT WAGE? As to this particular shop, it is our "home" restaurant that we regularly frequent and is a perfect example of all of the above. Service is 100% and of course the food on offer is what brings the customers in. Being LCHF, I've based meals on their excellent salads for many years and adding a classic sandwich or nuggets makes for a great splurge. The app is perhaps the best in the business. I wanted to run by to pick up a sandwich for my wife recently. Ordered in the app (with worthwhile points accrued in the process) and selected the curbside pick up. I clicked on the "I'm here" button when I hit the parking lot and by the time I got into my pick up space, a staff member was walking out with my food. Also if you select dine-in you basically pick a table, sit down and scan the number and a staff member will bring your order right to you - quicker than any "sit down" restaurant in town. Bravo Chick-fil-A! Besides, the excellent food and service, I have a principled reason to patronize a business that is a shining example of how a highly successful and profitable operation can be built on a foundation of excellent worker-supportive practices. read more

This restaurant sets the standard for how well a fast food restaurant can be run. It's always fully staffed, never a lack of crew members. It's usually clean, even during very busy periods. Seeing the crew handle the lunch rush, with a team of 3-4 people staffing the drive through outdoors, is always impressive. Even when wall-to-wall with people, my food comes out pretty quickly. If there's ever a delay, which happens occasionally, they automatically bring me a card for free food on another visit, without me even complaining. I am especially loving the app where you can place your order and pick it up either in the drive through, in a parking spot designated as a "curbside pick up" spot, at the counter, or at a table in the restaurant. It's almost like fast food table service, using the app and then sitting at a table, checking in by touching your phone to the table number disc attached to the table. Just a few minutes later, you get table service of your order. And, you get points for each time you use the app, which you can the redeem for (more) free food. Between the cards they give out, the app, and not surveys for how they are doing, it feels like I am getting free food regularly at Chick-Fil-A, and yet somehow they are more than fully staffed, and are apparently the most profitable fast food chain in America. Clearly they've cracked the code for how to run this business! And, this location is a great example of that. At this particular location, it's a bit hairy getting in and out at lunchtime, but I think that's true of every local Chick-Fil-A. If you're parking, I recommend the mini lot directly behind the restaurant. This location also has a giant kids play area, but I'm not sure that's true of every location. They also offer regular community events at this location, which I get notice of by e-mail by being signed up with an account (a requirement to use the app, I believe). There's a "Santa and Me" free event December 9th in the evening, and a blood drive that same afternoon at this location. I think these are great ways to give back to the community, and help co-create community, which most businesses seem to do only grudgingly, and poorly, if at all. I'm always pleased to see, too, that when they advertise jobs available, it's for a relatively good wage of $13/hour. They've got my business. read more

Love this place . Service at lunch is unbelievable . I went at night and it took 25 minutes . Here is why it's one star. I was asked to park and they would bring out the food . I parked , after waiting forever I watched in my rear view a woman walk up to the window and give them two bags . She got the wrong food. The employee put the bags on the counter and gave her different bags. Then someone in the place put a third bag on the counter. Now one was from the kitchen and two from some persons car ( during covid ) . The employee picked up the 3 bags , brought two of them to my car and one to the car beside me . So which one of us got the food that was in someone else car ??? I did call to tell them but it still bothers me they didn't do much about it . read more

I doubt anyone could ever say anything disparaging about CFA's service, at any store in any state. This is an organization which thoroughly vets its team members for only the best of the best. Such was the case with today's visit. My order was taken and delivered quickly by cheerful staff and I was checked up on frequently for refills or other needs. I'm not sure if they went down on their prices, or if companies even do that, but what normally costs me $11 cost $8 today. Phenomenal visit, thanks! read more

While we normally love this chick fil a location, but today was an uncomfortable encounter. In the current pandemic we are going through, it was a little concerning that while we were in the drive-through, the clerk was taking orders, clearly not more than 2 feet from the driver in front of us, touched their credit card, and then was going to take our order? Needless to say, we left, because we were uncomfortable with the fact that he had no gloves, no mask, was not 6 feet away from the drivers of the cars in front of us. I always wonder why I keep returning to this Chick-fil-a. I'm very impressed with their consistency. Unfortunately, that consistency is in their failure to provide me an item I ordered. Maybe they are a great establishment if you eat inside, but every time I'm in the drive-thru they forget something. Sometimes it is as simple as forgetting to ask if I want any sauce with my kid's meal chicken strips, or the entire kids meal. When I go inside there is more empathy than apology. Not really impressed with the renovations. Although I love Chick Fil A, (I usually eat there a couple times a month) this CFA has some of the most hypocritical staff. They say "my pleasure" but the attitude never backs up what they say. I visited today on their cow appreciation day and the lady criticized what I was wearing by saying it has to be head to toe. I was wearing black shorts, white tee with rips and black and white shoes. Really disappointed as CFA usually has great service. read more

This location is amazing. We stop in a couple of Saturdays a month for lunch after a morning outing, and the staff goes above and beyond. The food is prepped well - but it's the little things. There are obviously patrons who are regulars, and it's great to see the staff remember them and come to their tables and chat. When you walk in, they have high chairs lined up with placemats and sanitizing wipes in each chair. As the staff drops off your food, you'll see them check on guests, bring condiments, offer refills, and take trays and trash as people finish their meals. They borderline run it as a sit-down neighborhood restaurant. This location is run well, and they do a great job - we are always happy to give them our business. read more

Heard great things about the Grilled Chicken Club.. had one last night and it was terrible from the bun to the chicken... not sure how the chicken was prepared but it had a weird fake grilled taste that left you burping it up. The lettuce,tomato, and bun were of poor quality. As a suggestion, R&D should do some more testing on all their menu items. Never hurts to get feedback. Not sure what the marinade is for the chicken breasts, but it was too salty and had some kind of added smoke flavor. Maybe, they should go with a no salt brine marinade and instead use herbs,lemon juice, and butter on a dusted chicken breast...then, pan saute it. The flavor would go so much better with a fresh lettuce/tomato pocket on the side with condiment choice. With the lettuce and tomato separated on the side, you will have a tastier sandwich. The bun should be soft ... not the rough mouth feel of the wheat bun they have selected where you have to guzzle half your drink with with each bite. read more
