Staff: the wait staff are always on point and helpful. I've never once seen the manager come out and greet the customers. The manager stood and talked to the bartender for 30 minutes. Disappointing. Atmosphere: all good except consistently way too loud and as especially at lunch. We were shouting at each other over a business lunch. For whatever reason they ditched my favorite entree -.. the antipasto salad. So I opted for the chicken Cesar salad which was not good. The waitresses asked us how the food was and I told her the chicken was very dry, rubbery and felt like it was frozen and then thawed in the microwave. The waitress asked me what I wanted and I told her to tell the kitchen so they don't do it again. When she told The chef, he just laughed at her and then stared at me. Probably only four customers in the restaurant so no need to rush. The manager never dropped by any tables so I guess that I won't be coming back.

I asked for a shrimp po-boy and was given some long winding reason why I couldn't order it. I pointed to the menu board and display card by the register to show it was offered. Her response was "oh okay." I wish I had changed my order because it was awful. Barely any shrimp, bland on dry bread. My mom had the turkey avocado sandwich with one small, brown slice of avocado, also on dry bread. We shared a slice of caramel cake and both had chips and water. $33.86 was a ridiculous price for 2 sandwiches and a waste of $$ for the quality. The positive notes are the restaurant and bathroom were very clean. Sure hope they improve their food quality very quickly.

Ambiance/Decor: It's a diner so it's a bit loud. But it was comfortable, this is Statesboro and I was still in my gym clothes so it was enjoyable. Cute bar. But I do wish for more noise softening. Food n drink: Nice cocktail list and robust for a small place. Grasshopper cocktail was good and perfect for after dinner cocktail. Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer was very good. Pasta Jambalaya was very good. I wasn't a fan of Fish Platter that I requested to be blackened. It was way too blackened in my opinion. The sides seemed over processed but I ate most of it.

Honestly, this place was the best I've eaten at EVER in the 'Boro. 5 stars on atmosphere, food, view and service. We opted for brunch menu but did the pretzel appetizer with beer cheese. The beer cheese was thicker than normal but good. I did the French toast burger with fried okra. Daaayum, tasted like a fluffy McGriddle but much larger! I could barely finish it. GET THE LEE'S SAUCE FOR DIPPING! It's like the Zax sauce but with more tang and kick. We accompanied our meal with a pitcher of electric lemonade (a Statesboro staple, going back to the days of Wild Wings & Dick's Dawg House). The entire experience was like "The Run" by AP (no, not the runs ).

We had wanted to try Stoners Pizza but the reviews were consistently bad. I opted for the meal deal (cheese bread, large pizza and a 2 liter). I did DoorDash and got the food in a decent time. We weren't ready to eat yet so I left the pizza sit off to the side for a bit. That's possibly why my eating is lower than my expectations. The cheese bread was so/so. Not much of a fan. My girlfriend loved the pizza but I was meh on it. Mainly because it had gotten colder due to sitting. I will say that the side marinara sauce we got was really good. I'll chalk this experience up to waiting too long to eat the pizza. I will say that I don't really recommend the cheese bread. Hopefully your experience will be better than mine. Easy to order online, fast and friendly pickup, inside is small but quiet and clean. We ordered again for the family and got the pickles and bacon pizza and the meat and greet - I think we turned them into Holy Pie as well! The pickle pizza had quality pickles, and great flavor. Antoinette's is a pretty solid restaurant experience, with high quality food and a lovely ambience…read morefor a place of its size. The staff are very nice and welcoming, and Antoinette herself was an absolute delight. We came for the buffet lunch which, honestly, was less of a buffet and more of a live menu where they pick the food out of a tray for you. I think the restaurant would benefit from switching to a paper menu because standing in line waiting for the staff to pick your food one by one person by person was a little bit of an awkward experience. I feel like only getting one piece of fried chicken for a 20$ plate (which, with the credit charge and a drink and tip was pushing into 30$) wasn't great, but the portions on everything else was great. I really liked the food, the greens were well seasoned and really delicious. My boyfriend who doesn't usually like mac n' cheese loved their mac, and we both loved the corn. The candied yam was my highlight, really well cooked and just delicious. The fried chicken wasn't anything crazy but it was good for the one piece that came with my meal. The ribs could be better, they're onto something with the seasonings but the meat was tough and chewy which I didn't really care for. The burner on the ribs also went out which I think is another flaw with their buffet method, which left it lukewarm which was... Fine, just could've been better. The buffet did come with corn bread which I loved, I mean really high quality corn bread it was delicious. Overall the food is pretty good but the rib quality definitely drags it down for me. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant for anyone trying to get some good authentic southern cuisine; after a month in Vidalia this place was a breath of fresh air. I really loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, it was clear the owner put a lot of time, care, and money into making it a high quality dining experience, and one that I think is well on par with a lot of the nice restaurants in Savannah. My only immediate recommendation is either let people pick their food themselves at the buffet (and clarify that it's not all you can eat, other people at my table were confused about not being able to get a second serving) or ditch the buffet entirely. It's a nice idea but it would've been nicer and less awkward to just sit down and order what specifically I wanted. Also maybe hide that massage table by the bathrooms I wasn't sure what was going on there, it's literally the only weird thing with the otherwise delightful atmosphere of the restaurant.

On the afternoon I stopped in there was only 1 other person in the shop so our order was taken right away and made very quickly. My drink was delicious, but I often find that businesses post these great pictures to get you in and when you request said item it doesn't meet the same presentation as illustrated. I ordered what I believe was a Smores latte that had marshmallow, whipped cream and cookies on top. Well my latte didn't have any of the added toppings. I mean this is what bought me in and why I don't mind paying as much as I do because what is being advertised. It really comes off as false advertisement when you don't receive the same item being presented. And if it's a situation of the items not being available, the customer should have the option to decide if they would prefer something else instead. In this case, I was not told it wasn't available; I was just presented with the item once completed.

We promptly got sat by the lovely staff working. We sat outside, I ordered an Aperol spritz and my husband got a Bloody Mary. All of our drinks were delicious, reasonably priced. We ordered the Brussels, country breakfast (subbed cheese grits instead of pancakes because we're gluten free) and got a side of fresh fruit. It was so much food. We didn't finish it all!
