Well we came back and guess what has happened. We ordered the House Fried Rice, 4 Shrimp Rolls, A Happy Family and I ordered it Spicy (it was not!), Triple Gem and a Wonton soup. Can't really complain about the food as it was better than it has been. The Vegetables was Very Fresh and crisp. The only real problem is the Owners Brother took over the Restaurant and removed all prices that was on the wall as will as the take out menus that had a price on it. So you are ordering blind unless you ask how much each item cost. The only thing different is we didn't order Chicken Wings and our order is usually around $37.00. NOW this time our order was $50.11 and we didn't get Wings or did we get a itemized recipe. Honestly the whole reason I go to Chinese restaurant is some form of rice with vegetables and meat if this is also the reason you go to Chinese restaurants skip this one. What is a Chinese takeout restaurant without at least edible fried rice? However the shrimp and veggies Ms orange orange chicken was good, it wasn't anything to write home about but the lunch specials are cheap a lot of college kids come here. This was a great option in the Boro when they first opened about 5 years ago. Now it's hit or miss with the food and the service. I've returned food there that wasn't made as requested. Yesterday was our final time going there. My father picked up an order last night and asked for mustard while our food was being bagged. The person at the register took the soy sauce and duck sauce from the bags and replaced them with 2 packets of hot mustard...really? If condiments are a premium charge for them extra for them. This is a new place in town and by far the best Chinese food around. The food is very high quality not like you would get in other chain fast food places. They have a huge menu with everything even Kung po. The food tasted fresh and it was obvious they made their own sauces not out of a 5 gal jug. The owners were very nice and helpful to order. So much better than I expected. Got 8 chicken wings (fried, not buffalo), 2 spring rolls, won ton soup, house special low mein and a 16 Oz drink for less than $17 The chicken wings were perfect, lightly crispy and obviously fresh. I've come to expect the best chicken wings in any town to be found at a Chinese take out place ; how did that happen? The spring rolls were good, but could have used a little more filling (but they were so cheap that they got a pass) The one big disappointment was the won ton soup. The dumplings were way too doughy and the broth underseasoned. I ate one dumpling and took a bite of another only to spit it out (give me a break, I was by myself in a hotel room). The lo mein, it was as good as any I'd had around Atlanta and all the northern suburbs where I've come to expect excellent and inexpensive Asian food. Really happy I chose to pass up Mellow Mushroom and pick this up. Hoping this wasn't a fluke, I come down here a lot and at these prices, I didn't even have to feel bad that I couldn't eat more than half of the massive amount of food I had ordered. read more

Husband & I ordered takeout. Fried rice for both of us, was good. Pepper steak, tasted like beef with gravy. Nothing special, will never order that again. Sesame chicken was great, I had ordered it light on the sauce, so it was nice & crispy. Egg rolls, OK. Not the best, not the worst. Ordered egg drop soup. OMG, the worst!!!!! Was soooo congealed. I took one spoonful and tossed it out. I did think about adding chicken broth, salt & white pepper, but the reason for dining out is not to have to cook. All & all, might go there again. But just omit the soup & pepper steak. With that being said, there are tons of Chinese restaurants out there. We just need to fine that special one. read more
