Chick-fil-A - South Cobb I stopped by this location specifically for the Southwest Chicken Salad because I had one a few days prior that was actually really good. Unfortunately, this visit reminded me how hit or miss this location can be, and it's honestly frustrating. This time, the salad was mostly lettuce with barely any toppings. The portion of chicken was very light, and it just didn't feel like the same quality I had before. For something that's supposed to be a consistent menu item, the difference was noticeable. On top of that, the service felt rushed and inattentive. My order was pretty much handed to me and the employee walked off immediately, which didn't even give me the chance to check it or correct anything. I had requested one herb dressing and one avocado lime dressing, but instead received two avocado lime. This isn't the first time my order has been wrong either. On a previous visit, I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and specifically asked for American cheese instead of pepper jack, and it still came with pepper jack. It's small details like this, but they happen too often here. At this point, it's more common for my order to be incorrect and the service to feel off than it is for everything to go smoothly at this location, which is unfortunate because Chick-fil-A is usually known for consistency and great service. We came on a busy Thursday morning, car line wrapped out into the street and service inside was very fast. We ordered a chicken biscuit which was delicious, even without any sauce! I mean, it's Chick-fil-A, right? So anything less than 5 stars is blasphemy...but these guys earned every star and do so on a weekly basis with me! Given the current state of things, this location is still pick-up and drive thru only. I usually hit the app and then swing in, park in a designated spot and await the delivery of the goods. The entire process is seamless and takes just minutes from order to delivery. Additionally, the staff are being extra cautious and wearing masks and gloves at all times, while also placing your bag and drinks in a plastic tote, making the entire experience truly contactless. Prior to Covid, when they were full service, I swing through a couple times a month to eat my chicken biscuit/sandwich inside. Whether it be dine in, drive thru or curbside, the service is always top notch! On one occasion, I placed a curbside order and once I got home realized they had forgotten a fry. I only live about a mile away, so I ventured back to get said fry. It was slightly annoying, but not a big deal...however the Manager on duty refused to let me just collect my fry and go. He apologized and thanked me for returning and giving them a chance to make it right. Again, it was just a fry...but he wrote up a gift certificate for one free meal, breakfast or lunch for my troubles. Busy day at Chik-fil-A in Smyrna... I am not always that demanding, but when we use the Chik-fil-A APP, get that figured out... choose Carry Out (to avoid the hassle confusion and stress of the Drive Thru that is perpetually busy) get flipped off by another patron who is clearly unable to pull around the "NEW" designed Parking Lot and Drive thru... but HAD to park in the "To Go" parking place that some genius put in the Driveway / EXIT and the Drive thru Exit. It is literally the WORST place to have a Parking place... anywho... the App said "Your Order is Ready"... so I walk inside to retrieve said order, but it was not there! I waited a few more minutes then asked Jeff the morning Manager I've seen every Saturday for the past 2 months... he said they leave them behind the counter bc people just walk off with them... really? It was clearly just not ready. They get my order up... well most of it. When I got back on the road heading out of town for two weeks we open the bag and find missing items. When I called the store... they do not answer the phone. EVER. I LEFT a message but the phone and answering machine clearly don't work either because it has been two weeks and I still don't have a Refund, Credit or a call back. Considering that I've been to 100+ Chikfila's and I've never come across this, and after looking at other reviews for this store: it's clearly a management problem. I waited 2more times and still didn't receive a response so I drove around to the window where he obviously knew he didn't respond because he proceeded to say "what can I get for you" after placing my order I then waited. The salad came out immediately but the shake took forever which I couldn't understand since there were at least 4ppl standing at the shake machine. Finally after 5-6 minutes I received my shake and drove home. When I arrived home I noticed that there was no cheese on my salad and the salad was poorly prepared (sloppy). You know I'm really tired of writing bad reviews and I was going to let this slide and just use it as a lesson learned. Stop eating out at fast food restaurant period. . However, I have always trusted Chick-fil-A, so I still choose to eat there as my fast food option only. About two weeks ago I went through the drive-through and the order taker was so rude to me. My husband was on the phone holding for me to complete my order. I was talking to her and she was like "what do you want" and im looking at her flabbergasted and my husbands like wow. I looked at her badge it said "Trainer". I'm like seriously but okay ignored the ignorance and I continued to order. She looked as if she was mad at the fact that I was a black female driving a luxury vehicle and she was taking orders in the heat. I get home and my sandwich looked like it had been sitting for about six hours. I have never in my life tossed a Chick-fil-A sandwich in the garbage and I've been eating Chick-fil-A for probably 30 years. So decided to call the next day because I was just really disappointed with the experience and more so because I used my reward points to purchase the combo. The manager on duty, a female, apologized and said we really are busy on Fridays (to me no excuse) and we can replace it. She states "I'll put your name on the list and you can come and get it within two weeks". OK, so not going out of my way, but if I'm nearby, I'll do that because I do eat Chick-fil-A a lot. I was nearby yesterday and I went inside and I explained my situation. A white male manager, I did not catch his name because I was so appalled at the way I was treated. Number one their counter to order at was really, really filthy. There was water, lemonade, and red HI-C spilled all over the counter. I didn't even put my purse down on the counter, and I contemplated even getting food there, but I had my daughter with me and she was anticipating on eating there and she wanted to eat inside. I also saw the "Trainer" that had her real name tag on, and her name was Yvonne and she was looking very shocked to see me. I can't believe that she was standing there with the dirty counter. Just grab a cloth or a wipe and clean the counter off. The manager was standing right beside her and he didn't have the decency to make the place presentable. I gave him my information regarding my privies experience and he's like I'm sorry I don't see your name. So now I'm feeling like you think I'm coming up here to try to get a free sandwich or something. So I asked what do I need to prove to get what was promised to me? So I pull up my phone and show my call history, which showed the date and time that I spoke with someone at that location. At this point I'm just totally blown away. I wanted to just leave without anything but I did not want to embarrass or disappoint my daughter. For the remaining order I went ahead and used more reward points because at this point I have had nothing but bad experiences at Chick-fil-A in general. I have not dined inside of a Chick-fil-A in probably two years and to see the counter looking that way was just unacceptable. They were also cleaning the kitchen floor and water was everywhere on the floor at 4pm which is odd. I get our food and I'm thinking it would be nice and hot since we were eating inside. Wrong, the food was barely lukewarm. While eating the manager comes over to the table with an ice cream cone for my daughter. Nice gesture but from my initial experience it was not genuine at all. I was treated like I was a liar coming for a free sandwich. He had the nerve to ask was it the sandwich or the whole meal. The whole experience was ruined two weeks ago with the old sandwich so in my opinion I would have replaced the whole meal but if that's how your customer service etiquette's are in 2023, fine. I'm not spending another dime at any Chick-fil-A going forward. I will be using the remaining points that I have and no more. Even management is unsystematic and insufficient now days. To the trainer, don't treat people a certain way because you aren't where you want to be in life at the moment. I went to college and graduated and I work hard for everything that I own and also I'm old enough to be your mother, but I just look young. Treat everyone with respect please. Also district managers or regionals don't reach out to me with free stuff. I don't want it. Just focus on all of the loyal customers that you have. Go back to the old days of freshly cooked food. Hire better, efficient management and trainers that actually CARE and are not bias. When Chick-fil-A fails you, it is really, really bad. I'm officially done wasting my money. read more

This place sucks at night. The night crew is obviously holiday help or inexperienced. I have not had any issues at all in the morning hours. Visited this location on 12/20/23 around 7:30 pm to purchase a side of mac and cheese, kale crush salad and a peppermint iced coffee. Let's just say they had the hardest time. Gave me a frosted coffee. Told them it was an iced coffee. They acted like they didn't know what an iced coffee was and try to explain that's how they make it. Told them I purchase it all the time in the morning with no issues. Then I just asked for a refund. The employees acted like they didn't not know how the refund one item. The young manager came out trying to get me to explain what happened while cars are lined up behind me with their orders. I was so frustrated that I told her to just refund the entire order so the other customers could get by. They need someone with real experience helping these young employees. Beyond disappointed. So, my dad and I had some time together last week (I had a doctor's appointment and he was my chaffeur) and needed some lunch and chatting afterwards. We both agreed Chick-fil-A sounded perfect - a little comfort food in the form of two Original Chicken Sandwiches (mine with no butter/no pickles, his the fancy version with lettuce, tomato, cheese etc) is just the antidote to learning your foot is fine but they will need to cut the other side of the toenail off in a couple of weeks and do a chemical treatment that basically cauterizes the toenail - right?? This CFA is hopping and based on the times I've driven past previously, it is always that way! The drive-thru was packed but this one is easier to navigate than some. We dined inside and as usual, the employees were polite, efficient and attentive - I love it that the folks now come to clear your table for you - nice touch! Our sandwiches were delicious as always and the fries had just come out, so our timing was perfect. I'm even getting used to those new-fangled ketchup thingies they have where you can squeeze or dip. . . I received a order of fries with salt caked on it today, I returned it to the counter to show Jeffrey a manger the salt glistening on it, he offered to replace but I said no thank you, I'm just returning it to show you why I'm not ordering fries here anymore. I then commented that having that much salt on it is ridiculous, instead of apologizing, he said that's an opinion and walked off. I worked at chick-fil-a for two years, I know how it gets. I know that it's a tasking job and thankless. However, I also know that I've been a customer here for longer and they've not once improved. Whether I door dash or drive thru there's always an incident. It gets to the point where you have to say it's no longer just a one time mistake. It's everytime. They don't answer the phone so good luck telling them anything. Here are just some of the things I've had happen: -they've given me a filet that was less than half of the size of my bun -they overcharged me for an additional meal -they never confirm nor go over my order with me to avoid these mistakes -undercooked chicken -lost my Doordash twice by giving it to the wrong person and refused to remake it meaning I had to completely reorder it -they rush me through my order without letting me finish speaking and interrupting me when I'm not done If I can give this place any compliment it would be that my fries are usually always fresh which is something I value a lot! read more

10/6/23@730p I came through the drive thru ordered my meal (1kid meal/shake/2meals/sprite no ice). When I got to the window I was told to park on the side (parking#1). No problem, I did. Then later in about 10mins one of the servers came with bags asked me if am "Toro" I said no , that was not my name so ofcos not my order. He went over to the next Black Cadillac besides me and they took the two bags. He walks away. I waited next 15 mins am like okkk where's my order. I spot a young gent cleaning around their parking and I called out "hey excuse me I have been here waiting since 730p can you help me he took my ticket and off. So disappointed. I LOVE Chickfila, could eat it everyday. This location is awful! Found a hair in my food, and when bringing it to restaurant the cashier was nice and apologized. Not sure if it was a manager or team leader but got very defensive and the staff had attitudes about it. While standing I noticed girl with very long hair (and it was DOWN!) not up in a bun or ponytail. I've worked as a waitress and you have to have hair up when working around/with food. Chick-fil-a restaurants are always very nice, and a huge cute above regular fast food. That being said, this one is really great. They go the extra mile, with flowers on the tables, mouth wash in the restroom, and people coming by to clear your table and refill drinks. I think this is the only restaurant that I frequent that has never gotten my order wrong or forgotten anything. It is amazing! They really must have a better system than any other restaurant. I've even met the operator, Steven, a few times, and he is very professional and sharp. Emmie always has a big smile and a great attitude, even if it is early morning. Good day to all, I had my order taken by a guy named Fisher! He said next customer and greeted me with the up most respect and the biggest smile on his cute little face, he even winked, i had ordered the famous 12 count meal with a perfect juicy lemonade on the side (can't go wrong!) Anyways i paid and while inserting my platinum metal plated card Fisher proceeded to ask if i needed any sauces, NOW THIS gave me an entirely different view to this chick fil a franchise and location, FISHER has forever changed this experience. Ever since the renovations the service is terrible! I go there at least 4 times a week because work is super close here. After going through the drive through I ALWAYS have to park my car because they forget something. They usually forget my drink order or sauces but they have forgot my fries, the cheese on the sandwich and other stuff. Dear Chick fil a, NO ONE wants to get all the way to work just to find out your whole order was messed up.
