It has been quite a few years since I dined her, definitely before the pandemic. I was not thrilled with their food at that time and just never came back. Recently a friend posted a Yelp review about the wraps and the Polynesian sauce and it has been stuck in the back of my mind. All I can say is wow.. the Polynesian sauce is an elevated sweet and sour sauce and was so good on the Cool Chicken Wrap I ordered. My husband ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and said it was good and that he would order it again. My daughter loves the play area and had a lot of fun with all the other kids her size. (Kids under 54" only) there are nice high chairs and the dining room chairs are cushioned unlike most fast food restaurants. There are tall tables, short tables, booths, and 1/2 booth 1/2 chair tables. I saw someone eating an ice cream cone so we went back and ordered one for dessert too! This was my first time at Chick-fil-A ever. I took my kids for a lunch and to play at their playground. I ordered two kid meals, mac and cheese, and a lemonade. I was a little surprised by the size of the nuggets that my kids got. They were about half the size of McDonalds and quite small in size for the price. The Mac and cheese was good and the lemonade was tasty. After eating, I let my kids play on the playground. Since they don't allow food in the play area, many parents were sitting outside of the area not able to really supervise their children. It was a free for all in there! My kids are 4 and 2 and there were kids screaming in my 2 yr old's face. I had to intervene a few times with the kids. Finally, we just left. I only started eating at Chick-Fil-A a couple months ago. I immediately fell in love with their waffle fries and Chick-Fil-A sauce. I've tried a few of their sandwiches which are okay, but the buns they use crumble too easily and don't compliment the chicken like it should. I love their Cobb salad and avocado ranch dressing. Tonight was the last time I will frequent this specific establishment and the jury is out on whether I'll try another location. I ordered a large waffle fry and asked for it to be extra crispy. I was willing to let that go until I got to the pick up window. I asked for 4 sauce and was told that I couldn't have that many. Seriously...WTF! So I said, seriously? And the girl said yes, I can't give you that many. After a few incredulous "seriouslies" I asked to speak to a manager. Krista reiterated the statement and then tried to explain that the sauces are complimentary and said I could purchased an 8oz container if I wanted. I walked away with 3 sauce for my large fry, which was definitely NOT enough. The funny thing is on several previous orders they offered my dog treats at the drive through window, which I love and think is super nice. The treats that they give out are the HUGE ones (like the length of your hand from finger tip to palm). They have tried to give 2 every time I go. I have a 20lb dog and he doesn't need 2 huge treats, so i always say thanks, but one is more than enough and give one back. If Chick-Fil-A is so concerned about giving things away they should look at other areas. Saying that the sauce is complimentary is one thing, but everyone knows that cost is worked into their prices. And we know those prices aren't cheap. Sorry Chick-Fil-A I'm going to find better places to spend my money. This location out in the burbs is clean, efficient, and well run. The staff takes your order in a timely manner and the food is brought to your table. There are also staff members walking around to check if you want a refill on the drinks. I had the deluxe spicy chicken sandwich, which was great when paired with the honey mustard sauce. The fries were good, but didn't seem overly fresh - not too big of an issue. The milkshake tasted like real ice cream - not like a concoction of chemicals churned together. It's also nice how the basic sauces are placed by the front for everyone to grab, rather than handing them out when the customers order. The bathrooms are very tidy and pristine.
