It took 20 minutes from getting in the line to ordering. I ordered a Quarter Pounder meal, only cheese and pickles. I guess the four employees that were all crammed into the alcove by the cash register at the drive-thru were too busy loudly chatting and looking out the window to even care about my order. When I arrived home, I discovered the burger had everything on it. In addition to being given the wrong order, the cheese on the burger was orange and HARD. It had to have been made SEVERAL HOURS earlier, at the very least. The fries were cold and limp. Overall, it was all disgusting and inedible. Not what I expect for spending $12 on already overpriced food. Despite this location, being nearest to me, I doubt I will return for a long, long time. I took a photo of the food in case the couple bites I took make me ill and a visit to the hospital (then a lawyer) become necessary. Disappointing and disgusting. A waste of $12 that, quite frankly, should be illegal considering I didn't get what I paid for. In addition to this horrible visit, the franchise ownership must be a joke, too... considering they can't even ensure that the word "management" is spelled correctly on the customer feedback form! The form is vague and doesn't use any type of order number tracking, it only relies on typed comments. Looks like I'll be avoiding ALL Essig Family McDonalds locations from here on out.
