When I got to the restaurant, the drive through was backed up to the street. I saw a sign indicating that there was curbside service, but getting to this parking lot was cumbersome. I called the number for curbside service and encountered an automated answering service instead of a person. Why have a number at all? The restaurant offers curbside service, but to use it, I had to download and install the app on my iPhone, create an account, use the app to order and pay (necessitating the entry of a credit card and all of this information) which took three tries and finally a representative took my iPhone to complete the order for me. Then we had to wait. I think that I will patronize another restaurant until Covid is over. read more

Rude, and unprofessional. I was passing through. I just bought two chicken strips last night that I didn't eat. I figured I'd exchange them for chicken minis and pay the difference, as I am traveling and would like breakfast and not waste money by trashing the tenders. Upon pulling into the drive through, I explained the situation and they said to just pull up to the first window and serve me. When I got to the first window everyone was looking confused. Finally a manger came up and she was not helpful nor a pleasure to speak with. She was rude and condescending. She says because it was from a different store, she couldn't honor it. It's Chick Fil A. I have been going to Chick Fila for 20+ years and this was the FIRST TIME I had a negative experience. The young lady had red Kool aid hair and her attitude was nasty. I was wondering who pissed in her Cheerios. She acted like she was mad at the world for no explainable reason. I had a good mind to call her out but I didn't. She acted as if she hated her job. When a Chick-fil-A opens in any city people tend to loose their minds. I never really understood. My relationship with this fast food chain has always been something quick and easy to get via a drive thru to calm down cranky kids but NOW! I understand the obsession. This location was spotless and staff was uber friendly! During my latest road trip we had a 2 day unscheduled layover in Ruston LA. This Chick-Fila-A was literally right in front of our hotel. Not sure if this is how chain operates but this is how this one worked: Walk in & order - the staff had a giggle that we didn't know the menu. You're given a plastic cone/box to place on the corner of the table. The food is promptly delivered sometimes before you even get to your table Staff walks around and asks how the meal is and are constantly cleaning. The food was fast food... chicken wrap is clean eating for a fast food joint. Waffle fries are great! Breakfast I when with egg & chicken wrap with hash-browns (tatter-tots) great way to start the day. If you're stuck in Ruston it's a decent meal. read more

Someone needs to double the size of this CFA. It's way too small for the amount of people who come here. Having placed an order through the app, we hoped that would bypass the long wait. It did, but barely. I think we still ended up waiting 10-15mins for our food from the time we tapped "I'm here." Like I said before, this place was crowded, packed might be a more appropriate term. Everywhere you looked, people. I don't know how their staff maneuvers without knocking something or someone over. There was even a wait for the restrooms (clean-is, if that matters) which is rare for other CFA locations I've been to. Minus the abundance of people, the food still came out hot, as ordered, and tasty so that's a plus. The location is also very convenient if you're just passing through and need to hop back on the highway. read more

We were coming back to Shreveport and stopped in Ruston to eat dinner. Decided on Chick-fil-A, because let's face it, it'll be closed tomorrow (Sunday). We were completely surprised that there was no line in either lane! And then we realized why.... My husband asked about the menu, kid looked around, he said no menu. Husband said ok, chicken sandwich meal add cheese, I said #1 and add med Mac on the side. Pay for order with card. Drive about 100ft. Young lady confirms name, reads order...somehow we ended up with an extra small fry but she needed a manager to correct it, but we just told her not to worry about it. I also asked if she could add Mayo and she said "my pleasure"...100 more feet we're at the window, get food, pull out of parking lot...no Mayo, no fork for Mac & cheese...not impressed! I go to our Chick fil A in Bossier City MULTIPLE times a week, at lunchtime! While Ruston has technically had a CFA at La Tech for a while, this is the first true Chick-Fil-A in town. It opened August 17th. Have never seen fewer than 15-20 cars there since it opened. And it's constantly packed, but has speedy service. Slightly different layout than some, although that could be the direction corporate is moving. You enter the interior to either the line or the seating area. Has a play area for kids. Drive thru has 2 ordering lines that merge after ordering. Restaurant is cornerstone for future development nearby. REMINDER : THEY ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS!!!! Seen at least 3 vehicles attempt to go by on Sunday since it opened. While traveling with my niece and her two small children from Atlanta to Texas, we stopped in this Chick-fil-A. We were letting the kids play and talking to someone affiliated with the company. My nephew is deployed in Iraq and was on his way home - hence the reason we were getting her and the kids back to post in Texas. They flipped the breakfast menu as we pulled up, the car in front of us literally ordered breakfast and they would not give us a chicken biscuit KNOWING that they still had some left and it was still 10:30. So we ordered lunch and they made us pull up and forgot to even bring it out to us after 30 minutes we walked up there and they had it just sitting there. The guy "forgot" that he told us to pull up. We ordered through the app. We got none of the sauces we requested - including the 6 ketchups, which is tough when young kids are eating. We got only honey mustards instead, which would be fine if any of our party liked honey mustard. The food at Chick-fil-A is always hot, fresh, and delicious! My favorite things there are their grilled nuggets, side salad, fruit cup, yogurt with cookie crumbles, and frosted coffee (made with ice cream)! Recently, I was not given condiments with my side salad, and when I reached out to customer service, I was almost immediately contacted. Not only did they call me personally to extend an apology, but they also gave me a reward for a free salad. So I had a Choice between canes and this place! So I chose this one that's closed on Sundays and honestly a little more pricey on the amount of food. So I order 24 nuggets and asked for honey roasted BBQ which comes in smaller servings. Won't go back. Arrived @9:32 am, order taken @9:42am, received order @9:54am, with return trip finally left at 10:12am. Update: Attempted to contact restaurant with no success in speaking to anyone.
