Stopped into Chick fil A for lunch today. Something about this joint is anywhere you go, customer service and the food is always consistent. That's what I love about this place. You know what you're getting yourself into. They pride in those two things, customer service and product. I love this about them. We went through the drive thru today. We would have loved to dine in but time wasn't on our side today. The gentleman that was helping us today wasn't the nicest. Which really threw me off. Very dry. Didn't smile. Didn't laugh. Wasn't courteous. Not your typical drive thru experience for me. If you're role is to be nice and helpful to customers and you Cactus deliver, maybe you shouldn't be helping guests. Then at the window, the girl was nice. She handed us our drinks first. We asked her which one was the diet lemonade. She didn't know and had to ask. Come to find out the person who made the drinks screwed up and told her the wrong drinks. My friend got my drink, took a sip and realized it was mine. How do you not mark drinks that are diet? Especially if they are both cherry berry lemonades? The food was good. My fruit was fresh. But after such horrible experience, the food tasted basic to me. It didn't wow me like how is usually does. Pretty sad since Chick fil A makes everyone happy. I guess in my neck of the woods, my 3 Chick fil As have always delivered such great customer service. So, I just expected the same experience here, I was wrong. I would have rather spent my couple bucks at another joint today. Normally have a good experience here but was disappointed by my most recent visit. I requested to use a coupon that offered free nuggets to order grilled nuggets as I have Celiac disease. At the front of the car line, they took the coupon and told me they could swap regular nuggets for grilled, but when I got my food, I was told they couldn't accommodate my request. I had to pay for the nuggets and didn't get my coupon back. Please make coupons more accessible for your GF guests! read more

Check your entire order BEFORE putting your foot on the gas to leave this drive thru, no matter how long it takes or how busy or backed up they are. This location is the worst at getting orders correct! They forget items every single time. At first we would try to report the missing food on the app, no help or refund, then other times we would call after seeing the mistakes, no help or refunds. We learned our lesson. We started to check our orders in the parking lot every time-as we usually got home and were missing food we paid for- we started to immediately go into the restaurant with our receipt after the drive thru. Throughout 2025 this specific location has stolen probably over $150.00 for food that was never given and they never fulfilled a refund. The last time they forgot an entire sandwich as well as a large fry, went in to get our missing items as usual and the manager or supervisor refused to fulfill our missing items ordered! As if he couldn't believe his employees could forget or make a mistake. He literally took our money and accused us lying afterwards! He would not give us the rest of the food we paid for even though we had the receipt and the bags of food we had just picked up in the drive thru. It was extremely rude and humiliating to be loudly accused of trying to get a free 6 dollar sandwich and soggy fries in front of other customers. We couldn't believe being treated that way. After that experience on top of our orders continually being wrong or missing entire items like sandwiches, fries, drinks, mac and cheese, soups, side salads over and over... on top of forgetting sauces, not taking off pickles, not adding cheese, forgetting dressing, or salad toppings altogether. We will never go back. We overlooked it at first as mistakes happen. But when it became more consistent that entire entrees were missing and orders have been wrong everytime no matter if it's late night, breakfast, afternoon, lunch rush, new employees or old managers we will no longer be wasting our money at any chickfila. We had accumulated a bunch of points on the app, 10,000+, so we decided to use them all up and get "free" food from OTHER locations and when those points are gone we are deleting the app and never paying for chickfila anywhere, ever again. Quite possible the least best Chick Fil A in Utah. Normally, these places are all generally the same but this location stands out as "different" and not in a good way. I eat here several times per month as it is right in the middle of my travel path and I always hope it will get better. The breading on their chicken is always very "meh." Not sure if someone is afraid to mix in the spice packet but it always tastes as bland as my mom's flour coating we had to eat as a kid. She's Danish. They do not know fried chicken. It's about a 50/50 shot that my order is correct. I order the same thing every time and it seems I have to do extra inspection to make sure my meal is made the way I order it. As a pickle hater, it sucks to have to taste pickle juice after removing the pickles you asked to be removed. Last, they have key pad locks on the bathrooms. Wow! We have come to this chick-fil-a for YEARS and went this last Thursday evening for a late night dinner since my friends husband had to go to the ER last min. So we got there at 9:40 pm and we were aware they close at 10pm. But as soon as 10 pm hit the kids working there came over to our table and said they were closed and we have to leave. This is the 2nd best open Chick-fil-A in Utah Not as busy at Redwood (#1) But this Ft Union/ Midvale location does fairly well meaning in get the correct sandwich hot full & delicious about 80% of the time... The Redwood one is stellar for A+ HOT Breakfast eggs every single time.. but the line can be longer. This location gets a strong B+ for quick happy genuine service.. the eggs are ok but not as hot as Redwood.. The one in Sugarhouse is sadly a C- because they seem to deliver at the window consistently cold eggs with cold cheese at the window... So I usually drive to Midvale/Ft Union. Wanted to test out Chick Fil A fry sizes- the medium vs the large. I expected to find a slight difference in the amount of food received... but what wasn't expected is that the sauces from order end up taking up have the fry container! These pics show exactly how the fries came in the order... full of sauce packets! Do I need to ask for the sauces in a separate bag so that I get fries in the fry container? I did a super huge catering order from this store. Ordered it a week prior. I went to pick it up and they had everything ready on time. When I got it back they had given me everything I had ordered. Get yelled out by a manager. On 04-11-24 my order is 17607 and ask a manager to scan on my reward so I can have a brownie on the top of my order. This place (Taylorsville fsu # 03348.)is used to be good, however this manager manages the boat to be sunk in the sea by yelling and upsetting customers like me in front of his employees at the pick up window.
