So this place used to be the best! They offered curbside service, the only location to do so which was so great for a mom of 4! They closed for several months to do renovations to the place and since reopening have been absolutely awful! The service went from being super fast to being insanely slow! They have gotten our orders wrong on multiple occasions, they got rid of the curbside option. Their drive thru line is at a standstill now and won't move! I wish they had never decided to 'upgrade' because it has only been a severe downgrade! read more

I just want to give a shout-out to the staff of this restaurant. We got there around lunch time on President's Day, and it was very crowded with lots of small children. We got through the line quickly, but what I was impressed with was how hard the staff worked to keep the dining room clean. There were at least 3 people continually wiping/sanitizing the tables and benches, sweeping the floor under and around tables, clearing trays when needed, all while being pleasant to the customers. I rarely review a fast food chain but this one needed to be addressed particularly because we stopped here on our way to Charleston due to the high reviews. The food was fine as it always is, and while they got our order wrong, I understand that happens. My issue was the staff. When they got our order wrong I stood waiting and waiting for someone to help me, I stood maybe 5-10 minutes and no one stopped to ask if I needed anything and wouldn't make eye contact so I could get their attention. For a chick-fil-A this was odd. But this alone isn't why I'm writing. As we were finishing up our lunch, a family next to us left. They had four children. One of them I guess spilled something. The guy who came over to clean it up ... lost it. He started loudly raving about how the people who had sat there were "animals" and how terrible they were and how they were complete morons. He just went on a rant while everyone around him heard him. We stopped to look at him, he looked us in the eye, and kept on going. Stomping and slamming his hand on the table and ranting about the dirty people who had sat there. My husband joked that his inside voice was not working........ it's okay to be frustrated at cleaning up a mess but he made the entire area around him uncomfortable. Come for the standard Chick Fil A food but don't come for the standard level of service and friendliness. read more

This is the 2nd time in a month we visited this location on the way to or from the VA Medical Center from Myrtle Beach. We dined in the first time and it took forever to get our breakfast even though they were not busy. We had no direction as to should we go back up to the counter or are they coming to us. I guess we are just used to our locations in Myrtle Beach. The second time was this past Tuesday, November 26. The young man at the cashier register never looked us in the eye. We barely could hear what he was saying. We took our order to go and realized down the road, he never offered us any sauces so we ate the chickfila biscuit and chicken minis with nothing on them. Waited in line for over 45 minutes for Was able to watch manager at her computer for over 10 minutes and the watch her stand around the kitchen for another 10 minutes before we turned the corner to the back of the building. I am highly disappointed with both my experiences to this restaurant! Don't use the drive thru unless u know what u want! I am not familiar with the menu n both visits I surely wasn't allowed to look. They have kids outside taking ur order way before u can even view the menu. My second visit when I said I need to look at the menu, she shoved a menu in my face. Which my face needs reading glasses when small print is present. Then they make u pay way before u even see the drive thru window. I pull up to the window and two boys are squeezing themselves between my car and the window, telling me to move to the end of the drive. One runs out with my food and runs off, leaving me with no options except the yell back at him, standing back outside the drive thru window, n say I need a drink! Then I get instructed to move out into the parking lot. I have never felt more rushed n very disappointed that I wasn't allowed to view the menu, sides, or options. I mean, ok, they have a delicious chicken sandwich. Hope that's what u want because that's all u have time to chose. Dessert? I wonder. Options of toppings on sandwich?? I wonder. Other sides? Every time I ask for something special(like fries extra crispy) or (no whip cream) it's like they don't even pay attention. As far as fast food goes, this place is 5 stars. Not necessarily because of the food. The food is the same as any other location - though I'm a sucker for a spicy chicken with some Chick-Fil-A sauce. The real quality here lies in the service. The drive through attendants actually listen to you and care to get your order correct. Even with a line of cars, they move through orders quickly. Going inside to order? They often have my food in my hand before I've finished paying for it. I don't know how they're so quick. You can tell they work as a team to get things done and they take pride in offering exceptional customer service. I've even had the manager come and ask to refill our drinks while we were eating in the dining room. That's a first in fast food land for me. This is my least favorite fast food franchise location and let me tell you why. Service. I have never received such poor service from a group of individuals in my life. When you walk into this restaurant it feels as if the worker is always right. I have been to this specific location 3 times In the past month. All 3 trips were unpleasant and unwelcoming. The first two trips I had soenthing left off of my meal or made incorrectly and when I asked a worker for help they made it seem like I was In the wrong both times. 3rd trip was a deal breaker for me, won't ever come back and will recommend any other buisness around for this. Not sure I have ever met someone so ignorant as Monique. Upon greeting her with a " hey hi how are you doing" she treated me with zero respect.
