Kale side dish
Monica W.

I can not believe that this is what I got when I ordered a kale side dish. Probably two bites. This is an absolute RIP OFF!! So, I went into my son's room to bum a French Fry and they were soggy and greasy. I don't know what is going on at this Chic fil A, it used to be pretty good and consistent but it certainly has gone down hill. This is sad, it used to be one of our favorite take out places to grab a bite in Mauldin. Definitely not recommended!!!

Really Hate to Give This Chick-Fil-A a Two Stars, but Come On Folks, can't get a Salad Right? We Placed an Pick-up Order for Two Salads one with No Corn Right? Got Home Plenty of Corn but No Eggs etc.... Hopefully the Salads are made Fresh but Now I wonder???? Just saying The Receipt said "No Corn"!!!! Maybe just a Bad Time of the Day!!!! We Love/Support this location too!!!!

Mac and cheese

They always forget my fork when I get Mac and cheese and the last time there was black stuff all in my Mac and cheese. My friend was with me and he got a fork and didn't mention anything in his food.

Thanks for the raw cold fries

Great food & service. You order at the register & then they bring the food to you…read more The speed of fast food but the quality & service of a nice sit down restaurant. Family friendly with upbeat music and booster seats. The employees at this eatery are incredibly attentive and friendly, walking around the dining area with regularity to keep tables clean & check in each customer if you need anything. Do yourself a favor and get the Huactay Sauce. And now the sauces are self serve. One of our favorites is the Tacu Bowl, a side of Yuka fries & the Herbal Limeaid. So good!

I have wanted to stop in for lunch at this spot for a while and on an early work release snow day…read moreon a Friday lunch, my desires all came true for rotisserie chicken. I mean, it is rotisserie chicken and that is a good thing! This was a tender, juicy chicken wing and thigh (1/4 chicken, dark). I really could not tell a discernible difference between this chicken and one of the standards from, say, Publix or Costco. But it was good. The sauces are a different story. They are why the Peruvian chicken really crosses the road. This is the differentiator. The sauces are, Aji Amarillo Sauce (Mild / Yellow), Huacatay Sauce (Medium / Green), Roasted Rocoto Sauce (Hot / Red), and Huancaina Sauce (Creamy Queso Fresco Sauce). I did not try them all, but I did roll with the Rocoto sauce. It was spicy, maybe too much for the average "mild" sauce person, but for me, it was a nice compliment to the chicken and sides that I ordered. And I received two of the small plastic "ramekin" type sauce containers for "to go." Which is good, because my order was "to go." Service was quick and polite. Restaurant is smaller, but very clean. Kitchen is open enough so that you can see the process in the works. My sides were cilantro rice and Peruvian corn salad. Both very healthy and both very bland. Which is another big plus for the sauce. I would also add that the location is at the corner of Garlington Road and Woodruff Road and not the easiest place to get into and out of unless you are going in a certain direction. Which I was. A minor win there. All told, this is a good option if you can get in and out with traffic, the chicken is good, the star of the show is definitely the sauce and I would say that overall their menu has very healthy options. My quarter chicken listed for $10.39 with two sides. With my Viva Chicken desires satisfied, I would recommend this restaurant if convenient to your travels, but honestly would not make it a destination.

The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and super informative, which made the experience even better. I tried the Cheesling style for the first time after working my way through most of the menu, and wow--think crunchy Cheetos meets perfectly fried chicken. It's wild and delicious. The staff also let me sample a few sauces I hadn't tried yet, which was a great touch. And definitely bring some patience--they'll tell you themselves that the secret to how good this chicken is... is time. It's worth the wait. If you're into real heat, venture into the Hot Spicy or even the Wings of Fire--you'll feel it. Always a fantastic visit, and I can't wait to keep exploring the menu.

The service here was really good. The lady explained that they marinate the chicken for 36 hours prior cooking, which is some dedication for chicken wings. Most wing spots or Chinese restaurants don't provide this preparation for wings. Also this place is more of a to-go restaurant, though they do have a few tables. The chicken in my opinion is some of the best wings you'll get in town. It holds a lot of sauce, tastes great, and one of the largest wings you can find. Not only are the boneless wings very large, they surprisingly have less breading than the bone-in wings! I don't know if I've ever seen that before! After ordering, you get an automated text when your food is ready. I waited 15 mins the two times I came and shopped at Publix next door in the meantime. Ok so the caveat: The prices are higher than your usual chicken wing restaurant. An 8pcs bone-in for $15 ($28 for 16pcs) and boneless for $13 ($24 for 16pcs) by itself is a hard sell for most folks where you can get wings cheaper elsewhere. At the same time, I did not feel like I got ripped off because the quality is so top notch for wings. Personally, I will be going back during their lunch specials where getting a meal for $13 is more feasible. For the picky eaters, keep in mind it's a Korean restaurant when considering the flavors. I personally love it, but you will not find your ranch/honey mustard/lemon pepper flavors here. That being said, they honey garlic and secret sauce were awesome and I will be trying it again when I go back. Great food with great flavors and preparation? I've been here twice now and I'll be back again for sure. You're definitely paying more, but you're getting even more than that. P.S. - Also 10% off if you're first responder or military. Keep your identification in hand!
