I hate to say this but ever since they renovated this place it has gone downhill. I've found myself avoiding this establishment when I used to drive across town because it had the cleanest bathrooms and fastest service. However, This is now the slowest service I have ever received. I just waited in line almost 30 minutes in the drive thru for a cup of ice-cream. That's it. If there had been a way for me to leave the drive thru line I would have but I was boxed in with no way out. I watched as cars behind me got milk shakes and bags of food given to them and then when I finally got to the window to pick up my 1 cup of ice cream, they told me to pull forward without asking me for my name or what I was waiting for. I could see the cup of ice-cream. It was just sitting there, melting. When I refused to move another worker asked the first one what I was waiting on and she shrugged her shoulders. The 2nd girl finally came over to ask me what name my order was under and said "oh it's right here!" And handed me the melted cup of ice cream...this has become the normal at this restaurant. If you're driving on 75 and want to stop for a quick bite to eat, don't stop here! It's horribly slow and the service is awful! There's an awesome Chick-fil-A off the Byron exit or drive over to the Eisenhower or Zebulon road Chick-fil-A where they still say "my pleasure" and deliver quality food to their customers. read more

No gluten free food and long drive thru lines. We were driving 970 miles back home from our beach vacation. We decided to stop at chick fil a since that is the only place that offers gluten free fries since I have celiac disease. This location has NO gluten free food other than the yogurt parfait (be sure to say no granola and no cookies though). This was very disappointing....especially after a 20 minute wait in the drive thru line. Once you get in line, you can't get out either! read more

This location recently reopend after a remodel and the service is not good. They don't seem to have perfected the process of operating two drive thru lines. I just spent several minutes waiting in one line with NO acknowledgement while watching the second line serviced and moved along. I finally drove off. My experience has been similar every time I have patronized this location. I won't be going back. read more

We were traveling back home and needed a place to use the bathroom but decided to get something to eat. The cashier was friendly but was hasty to get our order in. We came in an hour before closing but still expected fresh food considering we paid $13 for our meals.... We got cold fries and our sandwiches tasted like saturated peanut oil... The bathroom was a mess as well. Toilet paper on the floor and two packs of condiments. I understand this is right off the highway however, being it's Chick-Fil-A I expected some class.... Update: I called the manager and advised him of the issue. He was able to refund our money back. Good to know that they do have integrity. I'm torn since this is the CFA I use most often. I want to say it's the best CFA I've ever been to, by it's not. That being said, it definitely isn't the worst CFA I've ever been to. The one time of the year that this CFA becomes my numero uno is around December when they decorate the entire building and make it a winter wonderland sure to give even the most mildly epileptic person a life changing seizure. The best part is that they have a radio station that they sync the music to, so if you're ever in Middle Ga and want a light show from the comfort of your car, now you know. I walked in with a couple of younger guys in front of me. We all stood there for a while and the young lady behind the counter told another employee there was customers at the counter. She told her twice her reply to the younger woman was " they can wait or leave". Trust me I left and won't be back. There was no one but the younger guys in front of me, no customers in dining room. Every time I come to this Chic-fil-a it seems to get worse. Whoever y'all had talking orders on the intercom in the drive thru may need to go back through training. Certainly didn't get the service we expected and then to be told when we got to the window y'all were out of ice cream so y'all couldn't make a shake we had ordered. I just moved down here about 3 weeks ago and I eat chick fil a regularly. Where I'm from my best friends dad owned a cfa so I probably even eat it more than most. But this is hands down the worst drive thru I've ever been to. I'm giving them a 3 rating only because the inside staff is so professional and very nice. The drive thru staff has forgotten something every time I've been through so I will only order from inside now. This is the only Chic Fil A that I will take the time and review. To put it quite plainly, the staff at this Chic Fil A are not customer service friendly. They really don't care if they get your order correct, nor will they update you on your order. I've literally watched 5 plus cars get their food before me, and I'm the first car in the drive thru. Food is good as always, but what prompted me to leave this review is how unbelievably slow the service through the drive through line was. It took about 30 minutes to serve 5 or 6 cars late on a Saturday evening, and it was just inexplicable why the line didn't even budge for 10-15 minutes at a time. read more

Everyone knows that Chick fil A is awesome. If you don't know this or don't agree then consider this your notification that we are no longer friends. Anyhoodles, stopped by the drive through of this location at 12:30 on a Monday right before Thanksgiving (meaning the kiddies are out of school) and MAN was it crowded. They may not have the double drive-through lanes that some of the popular spots in Atlanta have, but they do have great customer service. Would you believe that they had staffers (one in a shirt and tie) taking your order outside before you even got to the often-annoying scratchy microphone thingee? Then they had a separate person taking your money who would run (yes, RUN) back and forth to the window to get change, all to expediate the process. And let me tell you, it worked. The line was about 10 cars deep but we got through quickly and our food was hot and delicious as ever. And these people did it all with a smile. Chick-fil-A, you may be run by crazy Southern Baptists, but you got this ish down to a science. Well done. read more

Today, I stopped at this location while traveling with the family. We eat at CFA every Saturday, but on this visit the chicken on my Chicken minis were much smaller than I've ever seen. We were too far on the interstate to turn around and return them, so I sent comments to CFA on my CFA app. In an hour, I received a call from Jay at CFA in Macon with concerns that they fell short of expectations. The Publix of Fast Food restaurants once again does NOT disappoint me. We were headed to South GA and decided to stop for lunch. I am going to assume that this is the only CFA in the area because it was jammed pack in the parking lot and the drive thru and inside. I mean, I thought they were giving out little bites of chicken or lemonade or something up in this joint! We decided to use the drive thru because there were so many people inside. the line was wrapped around the front of the building but it still took us only about 5-7 minutes to get our food. And when I tell you it was hot. I mean we had to give the chicken strips and fries a couple of minutes to cool off before we could eat it. Now, that's freaking hot. And "YES!", everything was good. I think these were the biggest chicken strips I have ever seen before. I also noticed that they now sell Waffles with syrup inside for breakfast at this location. Chicken and Waffles. This used to be my favorite Macon location. I have eaten here twice in their dinning area since the reopening. The food is good and service is ok. when I went to counter for a refill on both visits the staff ignored me as if I wasn't there. I had to get back in the order line to get a refill. There is no reason for a drive-thru to take 30+ minutes in the morning, especially if the line is not very long, yet somehow this CFA location finds a way. I could go have a sit down breakfast and be waited on faster than I can get a fast food breakfast from this location. The food is always great, but it is not worth the awful wait. In line, I have seen multiple people get out after ordering because of the time. Hopefully they can revamp their system, but until then I will be driving to other locations. read more

Stopped for a late dinner on the way to visit family. Waited for over 10+ minutes to get a spicy chicken sandwich and then had to actually go back inside and ask for napkins!!! Then when he got inside there were no napkins in the dining room. Then my husband had to ask the manager for napkins, who proceeded to yell at the employee for napkins. I have never been to a bad Chik-Fil-A until now. This one messed up my order. I order a Cobb Salad and didn't get it after waiting for 15 minutes after I saw orders after orders go by. Went to Chic-fil-a today on my way out of town. Walked inside and the counter is empty, walked up to the lady at the register, she is texting and ignores me completely. After a few seconds I say hello she still does not look up from her texting but asks what I want. I order and she types it in all while finishing her text message and still has not even raised her head to look at me. She makes my tea and sets it on the counter on the otherside from where I am standing waiting for it and returns to her text. I was literally speechless, almost amused by how little this lady cared. My receipt says her name is Jo, I'm not sure about that however as she was not wearing a nametag. I've gotten better service at McDonalds which is saying something. read more
