This may have been the best chick fil a experience I have ever had. To start. Tephany is the sweetest, kind, and hardworking employee I have ever seen. The dining room was clean and had a very welcoming vibe. The bathroom was clean and has a mouthwash machine that worked very well. This CfA is the worst CfA I have ever been to. We pulled into the drive thru and request a very simple order. We asked for a 4ct Chicken Strip meal (#4) the lady taking the order tells us that they only come in a 5ct. We asked once more as the big ass menu in front of us says 4ct. The lady states once again they only come in a 5ct. So thinking that she works there and knows the menu my wife says it's fine we will take the 5ct meal. Fries. and a half/half sweetened. I ordered a #2 with cheese meal, fries, and a half/half sweetened. The lady taking the order repeats back to us. So that will be 1 kids 5ct meal, and a number #2. We state no we do not want a kids meal. The lady responds only the kids meal has a 5ct. Ok ok I have to break in here for a moment. What kind of people are working here. Not once did we say we wanted a kids meal. We even requested a second time to validate. A simple education should provide enough smarts to understand the difference between I will take a Number #4 and here's a kids meal. There is a large difference between the price on the kids meal and the #4. So we correct the order and the lady taking the order asks for a name to go with the order. My wife Winter says Winter. We arrive at the window. Megan opens the window laughing so loud asking for a name. My wife says Winter, and they laugh right at us as Megan says "Oh they put down Shrapnel "Which means Trash". All while laughing as loud as they can. Now we haven't even raised our voices, there was no fighting, and we didn't even argue when they got the order wrong. There was no reason for this behavior at all. Which we have everything on our dash cam. As we left the restaurant we found out what they meant when they put shrapnel. Which of course was out completely out of line. So we call the store manager. :Destiny: As my wife was talking with Destiny, we asked her if she knew who was working the drive through. Destiny states she cannot give out names. "But wait they wear name tags, huh?". We reply that we are not asking for the name just if she knows who's working the window. Destiny stated ya I know but I already corrected your order whats wrong with it. To which my wife replies, it's not the order that's the issue. It's the fact that your employee called my wife shrapnel. Destiny responded with well she's new. So this gives her a right to treat your customers this way? Seriously so the Store Manager :Destiny: is condoning this type of behavior. So the manager acts the same as the employees. It's no wonder why the employees were laughing and acting the way they did. Well let's just say it's a god send that this happened. As you can see by the business info on Yelp they only have a 2 for health out of 10. With multiple health code violations. I absolutely love chick fil a, but today, I am not sure what is going on. I am in line to grab my mobile order through the drive thru at 4th and Frankford and have been in line already 15 minutes even though the line did not have that many people in front of me. I am still nowhere near the window, I am barely past the order board. I have never seen the line move so slowly and now I am behind schedule to get to work because I thought I would stop really quick. This is worse than Whataburger, and that is a feat!!! Chick-fil-A is always a hit. This one is consistently good with great and friendly staff.

The manager (girl with the blonde hair) is always so rude. I've gotten my order wrong multiple times and everytime it's been a problem getting it replaced. She says that it "hasn't been put down in the book" or "it's not here" when I called and talked to another manager AND had a receipt. You would think after messing up an order they would be more willing but no. I will now be driving out of my way just to avoid the constant bad experience that i continue to have. read more

The drive thru was ridiculous 15min to order and couldn't get out of line. Then we get to order and like they wouldn't shut up and let you order lord. Couldn't finish saying what you wanted before they was saying ok anything else will shut up and you shall see. While I have always loved the food and service the one problem that continues to happen is that they get my Cobb salad order wrong. The only thing they get wrong is the chicken. Quality of service has been noticeably declining. I had to wait quite a bit at the drive-thru before someone responded. Then the young man at the window was chatting up a storm with a pretty female customer (yes I was late and irritated by it), offering refreshments to her pup, head scratches (the dog) and almost endless "you have a great day ... come back and see us (me thinks he meant, "me")! But when I drove up to the window, nothing more than my name, and "here's your drink" and then he left the window. Did he make a mistake with my order? Or did I? Was I supposed to wait for the rest? Not a word of what's happening!! When he came back, it was ,"Here you go". I said thank you but no response ... at that point I should not have been surprised. Walked in about 2:30pm we waited about 5 minutes or less before placing our order. We were given a choice of what kind of cheese we wanted on our chicken sandwich! The restaurant is clean and well maintained and the staff are cheerful and polite. The restroom was clean and stocked, and to my surprise they had a complimentary mouth wash machine in the restroom. The food was fantastic, and the value for money is better than most comparable restaurants. We asked and were given refills on our drinks. Arrived about 5:30 and started to the dining room. A young lady who worked there got out of her car to let Me Know the dining room was closed due to COVID-19. She did not have to make that effort but she did. I did not get her name but she was wearing a manager or crew leader shirt a d drives a white Chevrolet. The young lady who took my order asked how my day was going and took my order thanked me and wished me a safe evening. The young lady at the window again asked me how my day was going had my order ready in less than 1 to 2 minutes tops and told me to have a nice evening. This is the friendliest Chick-Fil-A I have ever been to. When I am in Lubbock this is my favorite. Thank You for caring. It shows. read more
