Well, I am genuinely irritated and frankly disgusted by the complete lack of sanitary judgment and professionalism we experienced at this Chick-fil-A location. To be clear, the issue was not with the drive-thru ordering process. The young lady who initially took our order was pleasant and polite. The problem began at the pickup window. My wife and I both witnessed a dark-haired female employee drop the straw for our daughter's apple juice directly onto the floor. Instead of discarding it and replacing the drink, she picked the straw back up off the ground and placed it back with the apple juice before putting it in our order. Another female employee with very short dark curly/frizzy hair then attempted to hand it to us. My wife immediately asked if they could please get a new apple juice because the straw had fallen on the floor. Rather than simply replacing it, which would have taken seconds, both employees stood off to the side chatting for a moment and then handed us back what appeared to be the exact same apple juice, seemingly trying to act as though the straw had never fallen off in the first place. The request was clearly not taken seriously whatsoever. What is most disturbing is that this was a child's drink. There was absolutely no urgency, concern, or accountability shown regarding the fact that something intended for a child had just touched a dirty restaurant floor where countless shoes walk throughout the day. No parent should have to argue with employees about basic sanitation standards. To make matters worse, when my wife called afterward to speak with management, the interaction became even more unprofessional. A very young-sounding girl answered the phone and claimed to be the manager. After the situation was explained, she abruptly hung up. When we called back immediately, she stated that a "higher-up manager" had been informed and that the employees would be given some sort of "classes." (Which the time It took to call back, she would not had time to explain the story in Detail to a manager) When asked if we could speak with that manager directly, she briefly placed us on hold and then returned sounding as though she was pretending to be someone else, now introducing herself as "Shay." The entire phone interaction felt immature, unserious, and completely lacking professionalism. What concerns me most is the overall attitude displayed throughout this entire experience. Instead of taking a very simple sanitary concern seriously, the employees seemed more interested in avoiding responsibility and being dismissive. This is the first time we have ever experienced this kind of behavior at any Chick-fil-A, which is precisely why it stood out so negatively. It leaves us wondering: if something this obvious can be handled so carelessly right in front of customers, what other unsanitary practices are being overlooked behind the scenes? We have generally had positive experiences with Chick-fil-A in the past, which makes this situation even more disappointing. However, after the way this was handled from beginning to end, we no longer feel comfortable returning to this location. read more

I had forgotten items or a wrong item, three times in a row a while back and the last straw was the when they forgot the chicken on my chicken sandwich. Fast forward six months and I decide to try them again today. And guess what, I had items missing from my bag AGAIN. The same thing has happened to my wife as well in the past. We both have even written the owner and all we get is a we are sorry, here are some coupons. This place is always busy. Staff are nice and their system is fast considering the amount of people there. This is my second time here. Even with their efficient system this location can get backed up into the road which is what happened to me on my first visit on Saturday. First time there were no problems with the food. Second time one of the salads I ordered had a rotten apple piece in it and the blue cheese was extra wet and slimy. The salad looked a little old so I was disappointed with the quality. Stopped into the Lakeland, Florida location and found the so-called Christian company has fallen to the cashless society. Most Chick-fil-a locations earn five stars, but this one just gets four. Maybe I'm spoiled, but there was something lacking in attitude and accuracy. We chose a table and found it had not been cleaned or sanitized, so we picked a second. There was something not quite right about the person who came to take our order, and it took me a moment to realize it. I could tell she wasn't smiling behind her mask. If this were any other place I wouldn't have noticed, but this is CFA. Apparently every other location has spoiled me. Similarly, the guy who brought our order was rather joyless too. His voice sounded kind of dead. Thankfully we decided to dine inside. Part of my meal included medium fries. Normally the waffle fries are wonderful. this time they were under-full. We had to ask them to fill the container properly. A bit later my wife realized we didn't get a fork for her kale crunch. A few minutes after that, she realized they didn't give us the pack of almonds that goes with the kale crunch. Not the CFA experience we're used to. All employees are required to wear gloves after I placed my order the employee instructed me to swipe my debit card on the handheld machine and take my printed receipt. I'm a new person to this fast food chain. It's so close to where I live I thought we would check it out if you get there around 4 pm. Otherwise...mayhem. The drive thru (only option during PITA Covid) was fine as well as the check out. However, their chicken strips or whatever leave a lot to be desired. Neither me or my Mom cared for them. Bland and TINY. Kinda dry and we only had to drive like 2 minutes to get home. I can't speak for anything else on their menu but I love Culver's chicken strips as at least they have a bit of seasoning, are super moist on the inside and large for little more in price. Guess we will drive to Plant City for any chicken strip/plank/finger fix because I'm not going to revisit this chain. Or I'll make my own. I can't believe how massively busy their drive up is (next to a mall and busy intersection) it's nuts. We took a pass 2 times attempting to try this particular one due to massive traffic jams. Line inside was spilling into the main dining area, even blocking the mobile order section, but it moved in a timely manner. Our order was correct and everything was great but a member of our party of three had to save us a seat while we were still in line in order to have a spot. Because of the amount of people it was really loud and chaotic in there. The tables are also pretty close to each other. Maybe the one inside the mall is a better choice for some. read more

This is one of the best CFAs I've been to. Pretty easy to get to despite it being outside of a mall and on a busy street. In fact, every time I've been here it's been busy but the line moves pretty quickly and the clerks are always friendly. I want to know why ALL fast food chains can't operate this way! Last time I was here I either won or was given a coupon for free chicken biscuit. I gave it to the cashier when I placed my order this time and instead of getting a free biscuit I got $2.19 off my order of a #8 combo. I'm not sure if they only do chicken biscuits in the morning or if you can get either a biscuit or a discount but either way I'm fine with it. Anyway, like all other CFAs, this one will bring your order to you. That's always convenient. I hate that they ask your name. Isn't it enough to have the colored plastic marker thing? As for the food, well it's always on point. Today I had the club grilled sandwich which is the most expensive combo. I'm glad I got that discount because I don't think it's quite worth $8. The poor drive thru management of customers contributed to the poor rating. As of recently, they've been screwing up orders and running out some menu items. This was the worst Chick-fil-A I have ever been too. Not only was my food cold, when it wasn't prepared now I asked the staff gave me a hard time, talked back, refused to fix it, grabbed my food, then gave me a hard time about asking for a refund. Their employees do not show the normal amazing customer service. They were not friendly and I was appalled with the treatment I received. The manager just sat there as this young employee continued to be rude to me. I never complain about Chick-fil-A, but I felt like a total Karen, abs I shouldn't have.
