I can't remember if they has that last time. Maybe it's because I got mild last time and git no spice this time. However, the tenders are BIG! That's a great thing about the value. Restaurant is clean and kept. The atmosphere is very noisy with echo. Staff is friendly. I think the value could be better if combo options were available because of many nearby competitors offering better overall value. Southerns is overpriced on several things and they always try to upsell on add on drinks and banana pudding; which I am sure is phenomenal, but I just think the value options could be better. I'm going with 3 stars this time

We went today and both ordered boneless wings (honey bbq and spicy Caribbean jerk) with fries and ranch. It tasted great as always, never had a problem in that department. Her hospitality set the tone & the ambience felt warm, welcoming & personal. Honestly, it felt like I was being fed by family. The menu offers breakfast & Philly cheesesteaks with a subtle Mediterranean hint that makes the flavors stand out. We ordered the chicken & waffles plus the homemade style hash browns mixed with eggs. The hash browns were chunky, well seasoned & served with buttered French bread. The Belgian waffles were fluffy, soft & not overly sweet, paired perfectly with the homemade syrup. I had the Nashville chicken & waffles; fresh, flavorful with the right crunch & heat. My daughter had the regular chicken & waffles & loved hers too. She also let us try the Dubai waffle topped with chocolate & authentic pistachio sauce. It was soft, rich & perfectly balanced. They offer fountain drinks & even Kool-Aid. The only small suggestion would be to bring all the food out at once, but it was busy so it's understandable. Overall, no complaints. Go hungry because those waffles will fill you up. Great food, beautiful hospitality & I'll definitely be back to try the lunch menu.

It was fine for us but we like seasoned chicken sandwich's.

There is so much to say about this location. Let's start with this: THEY ONLY SELL CHICKEN TENDERS…read moreHERE. Yes, you heard me, only tenders. No actual chicken pieces. This is something that CERTAINLY something that needed to be advertised, or put into any of the news releases for this location!! We found out at the counter!! Now even worst than a the parking lot!! It's an actual disaster area!! There is the back of a semi in the pull through next to the drive thru, which is next to a row of cones. You're literally at the corner of it as you try to get to parking. The parking area itself (as is the entry into the drive through at the front of the store) is too narrow. The parking spots in front of the building are coned off, because you can't get into or out of them due to the current drive thru line. The actual parking lot is also small in general. Difficult to Park and back out when there are trucks and larger vehicles there. As it was full of the day we went. It is also FAR too narrow when trying to turn towards the exit!! Which is a sharp turn and has high cement curbs on each side. So, beware of possible tire/rim damage. This place is not just a let down but also a current hazard. Maybe it will get slightly better after the "New Place to Eat" crowd is gone, but that won't eliminate much of it. Service was nice, considering all they did was tell us they only had chicken tenders and that a location would be opening soon in Hammond with actual chicken pieces. I'll wait on that one to try Bojangles in our area. For now, I'll Just be buying it when we travel. Giving them 2 Stars only because we didn't eat here, so I don't want to dock them a Star.

Granted she was busy, but good customer service includes at least saying "I'll be right with you". Why is the music sooooo loud? We're not at the club. Everything was way too salty. The floor was so sticky that my shoe actually stuck to the rug by the drink machine, and there were straw wrappers scattered everywhere. Thankfully, one employee was helpful and assisted us in getting the app to work, but that didn't make up for the overall mess. The entire place felt dirty and poorly maintained. I'm sure most of their business is from delivery services like DoorDash, but that doesn't excuse the condition of the restaurant for those of us who choose to dine in.
