I decided to come back and give benefit of the doubt. I regret it. I went for breakfast via drive-thru. It took 30 minutes for them to take order and provide me with my order. 30 MINUTES! The other chick fil a locations I've been to take about 5-10 minutes to take my order and provide it, even when there's a long line. I ordered the breakfast biscuit meal. They let me know there is no hash brown and if I wanted either a berry parfait or fruit cup. I asked the gal if it would be extra charge as this is an inconvenience on their end. She said that they would be able to discount it. I said that's fine. I go to pay and they charge it full price. I didn't realize it until after. I go home and the berry parfait is only filled half way the cup not even full. At first I had thought I was a bit harsh in my last review but not much has changed. They still don't have the greatest attitude. It also shouldn't take 30 minutes to order and get your meal. Fast food isn't a hard job either (I used to work in fast food years ago). I really hope that management can control/better their employees. Especially because they aren't cheap anymore. read more

So excited to have a Chick-fil-A near us. My review is only in hopes that they get better. I get it. Their new staff is in the training. This is my second time going through the drive-through and this is the second time that I asked for Chick-fil-A sauce and I get none . For everyone coming to this location just make sure you check you bags to make sure you get what you asked for before you leave the drive-through . my first visit the drive-through the worker was completely lost, but it's OK. I was excited to try this new location in El Monte and it definitely lived up to my expectations. I was going to go through the drive-thru but opted to go inside instead. Viviana and Anet were super helpful. Some of the best service I've ever received at a Chic-fil-a, and that's saying a lot. They made sure to say "my pleasure" after every sentence. Went to this chick fil a, pulled in the drive thru. It was slow, only 2 cars in front of us who both pulled through to the window as I began to order. Gio serviced us. I asked if they had a menu we can view, the laminated menu they typically carry when they walk to your car. However, I seemed to inconvenience Gio by asking for this as he walked off rolling his eyes and throwing head back. Sorry Gio, not everyone who visits Chick fil a knows the menu by heart and some of us need to view the menu and what is available. I pulled up as the line started moving and Gio handed me the menu and I politely took it from him, and he then said "or you could just look at that one" gesturing at the drive thru menu. Which was not possible for me to look at with cars in line when I initially asked for the laminated version. I pulled up though and we looked over the menu as Gio walked away rolling his eyes and scoffing again. After about 2-3 minutes Gio walked up again "for *my name*?" With a sigh and eye roll added to that statement. I said yes. My boyfriend let me know what he wanted, I order it. I then began to place my order. I asked for Mac and cheese, and was not informed it was unavailable. Maybe you could do better to inform people if you kept your attitude in check, but I digress. Eduardo? Edward? Ed (skinny curly hair with an attitude) came over since Gio somehow could not pull his attitude together and input the sauces I asked for and messed up my order. Ed informed us, while laughing, yeah you cannot get the Mac and cheese. I only knew it was unavailable because he joked with Gio that he let us order it and not because I was politely or courteously informed that it was available. We paid and as I drove off Gio and Ed both walked away rolling their eyes and scoffing. I'm sorry that I inconvenienced you by expecting you to do the very basics of doing your job. I wouldn't normally care about people's attitude at work, sometimes we have bad days. But I did nothing but ask for a menu and was met with a disgusting level of unprofessionalism. That kind of attitude won't get you very far Gio. I've been to plenty of chick fil a's but this one, not been here long, left a nasty impression. No wonder there is rarely a line when employees meet you with disrespect and not the friendliness expected and praised by chick fil a. The food was good but the experience was not so positive. I asked questions at the window and the employee (think her name was Connie) working there looked at me like in a nasty way and proceeded to answer my questions with attitude. This chick fil a location takes IMMENSELY LONG with-ought a doubt every morning. All I order is 2 chicken biscuits and they make me park in the side where the drive thru reserved spots are at. Along with that they are not busy at all there's a total of 3 cars, and they have 2 of us waiting in the side so 1 in the drive through line. first off, i recieved the wrong order and had to go back to get my order corrected. while waiting and later eating, i felt that this place seems to be a very uncomfortable restaurant to eat at. workers and managers seem to be very unhappy which gives off a tense environment to be around. next time i would much rather prefer to eat at my local chick fil a rather than the one off this freeway. I also saw that one of the managers would stand around and she just seemed to be in the way of all the other workers. despite the wait i would have to say that overall the food was still good to eat despite the awkwardness of everything. this restaurant also seemed to be well cleaned. thank you guys for helping me get my order fixed read more
