Nice new CFA that has been open a little more than a year. I've seen my fair share of CFA locations and while I would never say that any of them are lookers in terms of design over the years the stores have been modified and, like the service you normally receive here, they are masterclasses of simple efficiency. This store is well placed close to route 9, the AC Expressway and the Blackhorse Pike. Even though we came on a weekday during a prime dinner hour there was not the usual site that I've grown to expect with a line of cars wrapped around the store's drive thru window. While there were a few cars in line, the main draw for some reason was dining in. The parking lot was filled and trying to find a space was a mess. We had to schlep over to the neighboring Wal-Mart lot to find a space. Not Cool. The things we do for chicken. #1 #4 #5 #9 If you're a connoisseur of CFA then I don't need to explain to you what those numbers translate to on the menu board. All items were rendered as expected with the two highlights being the lack of hard end grizzle on the regular nugs and instead of the usual single pickle on the #1, there were five! (I don't eat pickles so I'm not sure why I just threw that exclamation point in there) Two sidebar observations: 1. I had to laugh at the placement of the staff's ServSafe certificates. They're all together under a glass case hanging on the wall next to the bathroom entrance doors. There really must be a better place than that. 2. I'm not a big fan of the new motion sensor trash bins that are appearing at CFA's. My local store does not have them yet and from talking to the staff there are no plans to get them any time soon but I've seen them now here and at two locations in VA. I feel as someone who is not garden gnome short, the door slot is placed too low and the design equals less capacity than a traditional container. With how busy these places get you need more capacity not less capacity. When I went to throw out our trash I had to call an employee over to dump the inner bin which was filled and got stuck trying to compact itself but couldn't. Ironically the same thing happened to me at a different CFA in VA last month. Overall the store was clean, the food was fresh, the food was hot and it was delivered quickly. There is nothing sexy about what CFA does but what they do is shockingly consistent and that's why they are the envy of the fast food industry. read more

This review applies ONLY to the quality of service provided at the DRIVE-THRU at this particular location of 6801 Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Township, NJ. The ability of the personnel at this location to fill the order accurately is seriously doubtful. Every one MUST open their bag and inspect ALL items to insure the order was filled correctly. You might even have to open each wrapped item if it just doesn't feel right to you. I personally have encountered numerous screw-ups! Therefore, they just cannot be trusted......EVER. When you give them 40 minutes for a mobile order they still won't have it completed. Assumed order was completed but had to turn around when they missed something on our order. Waited in the store for another 15 minutes for a salad. Left only to find they didn't add the dressing or the utensils. Today on my way home, my boyfriend and I stopped at this Chick-Fil-A to grab some food. While ordering, him and I just started chatting with the woman taking our order, Amy. We briefly told her that him and I are moving to Florida for the military. We sat down to eat our food, Amy came walking over with a card with my name on it. I opened the card and it was a card congratulating us on our new home with a beautiful hand written note from her and the Fire Road team. I was so shocked that a complete stranger took the time to do that, that I never got to thank her before she hurried back to the kitchen. All I can say is, if this world had more people like Amy, it would be a better place. I will keep that card forever to remind me of how simple it is to make someone's day. Can not believe the crowd here at about 1pm on a Thursday. Just coming from Ocean City back to Absecon and decided to treat grandkids. First, this place is immaculate. The cleanest fast food place I've ever been to. Secondly the service is beyond anything to be expected from a fast food place. Say 'thank you' to an employee and you get back, "It's my pleasure". Ordered at counter and given some type of table placard to put on your table and they bring the food to you. Even stopped me from cleaning table so they could do it. Wow that's a surprise. This is one of the best fast food restaurants you can go too the customer service is one of the best I've been experienced a lot of employees are really kind and the chicken is made with the right amount of ingredients it doesn't feel too greasy like a lot of chicken serving restaurants. There do get forget the difference between chicken nuggets and chicken strips. I do recommend going here just check your food before leaving. read more

By far THE best Chick-fil-a i've ever been to. Even with a line wrapped around the building, a restaurant full of people, and orders flying in left and right, they still managed to keep cool, take our order, make sure it was right, and all with a smiles, pleases and thank you's. Usually when we eat out, baby high chairs are usually filthy or broken, but this location's kid chairs were all sparkling clean, in operational condition and all had a placemat for kids, that was really helpful. Lastly, our food came out within 5 minutes, hot and fresh. No complaints whatsoever. One of my complaints about any Chick-fil-a is how your taking your life into your own hands in their parking lots, but since this location is seemingly brand new, they did a great job with the parking lot making it one way and much easier to navigate for pedestrians hoping to that that amazing chicken. read more
