I don't usually write reviews, but this Chick-fil-A at the Detroit airport deserves one. This was hands down the fastest and best service I've ever received at any Chick-fil-A. The staff was friendly, organized, and had my order ready almost immediately, even with the airport being busy. The food was fresh, everything was accurate, and the whole experience was impressive. If you're flying through Detroit, this location is definitely worth stopping at. Great job to the entire team! read more

It's 8:50am at the airport chick fil an and there is a big line and one cashier. Hire people.

Ok. Not sure about the craze for Chick-Fil-A. The chicken nuggets were teeny - like the size of my thumb nail. So an 8pk may work for a dieting teenage girl, you'd need at least 40 to feed an average teenage boy. Maybe if they re-named them to chicken minis because they aren't comparable to the standard size nugget. The grilled chicken sandwiches are nice since Wendys and McD no longer have a grilled option. The waffle fries were disappointing but no one can top McD fries. Notable ketchup packets (see photo). Great service though and luckily not much of a wait at Detroit Airport DTW for lunch. read more

I love Chick-fil-A, so when I had a recent layover at Detroit AirPort, I walked across the airport to have some. The line was long, like any Chick-fil-A location in the country. But, someone I assume on behalf of Detroit Airport was playing a piano next to this location. Since I love music, it made my time waiting in line enjoyable! I got my spicy chicken sandwich, fries and coke and continued to listen to this talented musician. The food is standard Chick-fil-A... which means its delicious! Don't know if this was done involving Chick-fil-A but this was the fanciest experience I had at one and one of the most enjoyable airport meals I have ever had! read more

I got to my gate with some time to spare, so I thought I would grab a breakfast sandwich. The Qdoba was not open yet and I'm not a fan anyway, so I thought I would try a chicken biscuit here. The biscuit was dry - it exploded into an avalanche of crumbs down my shirt when I bit into it. And the chicken, was the most pathetic piece of chicken that I've ever seen! It was about 1/8" thick and the size of a large chicken nugget from McD. Didn't even fill the biscuit. I'm not even going to bother complaining about the price, because it's the airport and you already know you're gonna get bent over. I just didn't think I would get bent over twice! I will give this particular chick-fil-A location in terminal A at Detroit airport their flowers. At 6:00am in the morning, the staff was so friendly and personable! My order was correct and was very hot and tasty..and served with an excellent portion size (sandwich). The line obviously gets very long, due to its proximity to numerous gates, but the staff efficiently kept it moving. I can see how the staff can get burned out because of the busyness, but they are handling it well..and I hope Chik-Fila-A is properly compensating these service workers..they deserve it! If I'm being honest, I don't ever write reviews. The food was honestly fine, but something really stuck out to me. The older woman who was in charge of giving the orders out, a woman of color, was ONLY asking anyone with her same skin color if they wanted sauce or anything else. Anyone else who was not African American she just handed them their food and walked away. I saw a poor man very clearly want sauce but she just set it down and walked away. Why are you not asking everyone if they want sauce? It's literally Chick Fil A. I have honestly never in my life witnessed something like that. I'm really tired of chic filet always screwing up my orders. Been to a few of them and it's rare that I go. Almost every time my order is wrong. Asked for a number four with a coffee and an orange juice. She even asked if I wanted the fountain or simply orange juice bottle. I said I wanted the bottle and she returned with a water!!!! I corrected her and she got me an oj and said well I only charged you for the water, it's cheaper. I'm like I don't care I'm not the one paying for it! Get my order and go sit down. 6107 at DTW airport provided the worst experience I have had from a CFA store. Simply attempting to spend cash (not card) led to an encounter with an extremely rude and dismissive CFA employee "Khali". I sure hope this young man matures quickly into the service role he is currently holding. Further, I hope this is not the way of the future for CFA and their customer service experience. Just terrible, I would expect to be attended to like this as a guest at a pawn shop. Not CFA. Ultimately, Khali abruptly departed the register, and Nader stopped mopping, moved to a cash accepting register to take my order. read more
