It got me bad. Other than that, though. It was delicious. I got the jerk turkey sub, and it was long and warm and delicious and ooey gooey. Paired with the kettle chips for that perfect crunch, just a great meal for my long drive home to Orlando. Definitely a huge upgrade from that terrible Burger King at the Bee next door. Would return.

I ordered 2 subs for pickup through the app. My sub (Jerk Chicken) was OK except there was no jerk seasoning on the sub. My wife's sub (Hook and Ladder) only had 3-4 thin slices of ham...the sub was pretty much only bread. Total rip-off. I sent a complaint to corporate through the website but got no response so it is pretty obvious that the company doesn't really care what the franchises do. Really disappointed because the company used to be a huge supporter of first responders (my wife is former law enforcement) but it will be a LONG time before we go back to Firehouse.

I love local restaurants, some are lacking in some way but Live Oak Sub Shop is not one of those places. According to their sign, they are only open from I want to say 10am-4pm which is a shame for anyone who would want the food later. They were also pretty packed when we were there, there was TONS of people inside but it had such a homey feel to it. The service was great, the place was clean. The bread is very soft and fresh, what can you hate about that? I got the club sandwich and everything was high-quality about that sub but I'm most pleased with the bread and cheese. I am pretty certain if they offered a bread and cheese sub I would eat it, the cheese isn't that processed stuff- it's real cheese and it's making my mouth water just thinking about it again. I will go back next week for a Gyro and Cheesesteak sub! OH ALSO, VERY CHEAP. $6 for a 12" sub that tastes better than Subway BY FAR. Definitely make a stop here if you're in Live Oak for some grub.

The guy ( my receipt says his name is Robert) at the window--tall, thin, and clearly in need of a dental hygiene check as much as an attitude adjustment--met my request with a hostile, disgusted glare and an arrogant head-shake, as if I were a massive inconvenience to his life. It is pathetic that a paying customer is treated with that level of contempt. If it's that much of a struggle for him to be polite for thirty seconds, do everyone a favor and move him to the back to flip burgers where no one has to see or hear him. He clearly hates his job, so he should either quit or stay hidden in the kitchen.
