The menu of Leroy Fox is terrific and difficult to describe here. Yes, they have excellent fried chicken, a great bar, super service and unique ways of putting together simple components. Wife loves cauliflower, so had the Thai chili version ($13.95) which she washed down with Something About Mary blood Mary's at $12. We each had two of those by the time we left. I had the Lollipop Legs ($19.99), my favorite, of four chicken legs literally stuck into a pile of mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts with bacon and pan gravy. Good enough to die for. Our guest had a huge steak salad ($24.50) that also went well with bloody Marys. Come early, as this is a popular place. We sat in the booths, which are more quiet than on the main floor, so opt to sit here is conversation is important. Our waiter was Anthony C. who did a great job and showed a lot of patience as our guess got lost and was pretty late. Thanks, Anthony.

I randomly found this location since I was in the area running some errands, the name really got my attention. I quickly found parking, went inside and was greeted by Jissela she was at the register she was nice and talkative made me feel really comfortable. The chef Javier was also very friendly and nice. I told them it was my first time trying this place out. Idk what Javier did but that was honestly one of the best cheese pizzas I ever had. Everything was perfect. The name really stood out on this one slice. Slice was so good I can't stop talking about it. Will come check you guys out again soon.

I tried the cheesesteak and it was just so boring to me. Didn't really have a huge flavor. Had no "personality" and sooooo much cheese with little meat under it. The bread to meat/toppings ratio was off. When I think cheesesteak I think an ooey gooey mess of deliciousness. This sandwich was dry and definitely didn't have any "mess" factor. After reading the other couple of reviews I opted not to get the pizza but sandwich instead but looks like so far nothing is hitting the mark for anyone. I went during lunch hours on a Friday and it was practically empty, just me and another lady. Idk, hopefully things get better but I doubt I'll be back.

Then she said she may have pulled the card out too soon. I literally had just left my credit union prior to stopping here; even if I hadn't, there was plenty available in my account to cover the charge. I gave her my card again. She returned it with the receipt & then handed me the bag of food. Never asked what sauce I'd like; just threw 3 of ranch in the bag & it's on the receipt. I asked if I could have barbecue sauce and she handed me 2. I checked my account on Friday, 11-3-23 & noticed there were 2 charges of $8.64 instead of just one. I want my refund issued immediately! If you can't or won't do it, I'll be contacting my credit union. To make matters worse, I called the restaurant on Friday at 10:05 am right after seeing the duplicate charge. A male answered the phone; as unprofessional as he was, he should only be answering his cell phone. As soon as I mentioned that I was there in the drive thru on Wednesday, he cut me off and said that I'd need to speak to a manager. They weren't there but would be there after 11 am & abruptly hung up on me. My call log shows the call lasted 17 seconds. I immediately called back at 10:06 am & he answered the phone. I told him I didn't appreciate him hanging up on me as I was asking for the manager's name. He said there was more than one manger. I laughed & said even more reason for me to ask for the name of which one I should be speaking to. He said he didn't know. I laughed again & asked for his name. He paused & said Marcus. Who knows if that's true but what I do know is, I need my money returned asap & I will not return to this location or the Albemarle Rd location ever again. No professionalism at all, & I don't need that energy around anything I'm consuming, even if it's a snack while running errands. It's out of my way some, but if I continue to patronize, I'll go to the Indian Trail location. Their employees could stand to train the ones in Charlotte. The only reason I didn't go to the store on Friday to handle this in person is because I have business to tend to, & handling this petty foolishness let alone unprofessionalism wasn't at the top of my to-do list, but I will make a visit if necessary & if this issue isn't rectified immediately!!

After paying at the window, I reviewed my receipt and noticed it said "sub sausage" instead of "add bacon." Since the AI system never repeated my order, I immediately brought this to the employee's attention before my food was handed to me. She relayed my concern to the employee preparing the food, who responded to me in an irritated tone, "I heard you! You said ADD BACON!" I explained that I was simply making sure because my receipt indicated otherwise. Despite me catching the discrepancy ahead of time and specifically confirming my order, I was handed my food and drove away. Before leaving the parking lot, I checked my biscuit, and of course, there was no bacon on it. I then had to get back into the drive-thru line to have an error corrected that I had already tried to prevent in the first place. When I reached the window again and explained that the bacon was missing, I was told, "Well, you'll have to park and come inside because you're holding up our line." This was extremely frustrating. I was being inconvenienced a second time because of an error I had specifically pointed out before receiving my food, yet I was spoken to as though I was inconveniencing the employees. The food-prep employee then came to the window with the same irritated demeanor and asked, "What does she want???" After being told that my biscuit was missing bacon, she simply grabbed a piece of bacon, folded it inside a piece of liner paper, and handed it to me. No apology or anything. The entire experience was distasteful and unprofessional. My biggest issue is not that a mistake was made, it's how the mistake was handled. Mistakes happen, but customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience, especially when the employee was in the wrong.
