Small cone
Parker S.

There I was one day just enjoying my morning, then a thought popped in my head. "You have a chick fila gift card, you could get a sandwich, drink, and ice cream". I tried to ignore this thought but as you will see I failed miserably. As I couldn't resist the urge I ended up getting a spicy chicken sandwich with some BBQ sauce, sweet tea, and a small cone. All of it was delicious and I liked that the spicy chicken sandwich was actually spicy unlike a lot of "spicy" foods. I would say Chick Fila is the ideal fast food restaurant, if you have to get fast food that is. This particular location is very fast even during peak lunch hours which is quite impressive. Overall, a pleasant experience especially with a gift card making it practically "free".

Kids meal: chicken nuggets, fries, and lemonade

I was craving a quick and easy small lunch and I thought Chick-fil-A would be the best videa. I ordered a kids meal chicken nugget meal with lemonade and fries with of course polynesian sauce which is my favorite. I always enjoy going to Chick-fil-A because the workers are always friendly. My order was ready quick when I arrived and was correct. I have noticed that Chick-fil-A has pretty much taken down their COVID-19 precautions but it's nice that they offer curbside for people who prefer to not dine in.

I wasn't expecting much from this Chick-fil-A on the business district of town. They have a Chick-fil-A so just having one on this side of town people are probably thankful for. It's a decent size, but can get really crowded at the peak of lunch hour. I came in here last week after placing a pick up order I was going to eat at home. I was tired so just decided to eat it there. They unfortunately do not carry any hand sanitizer or sanitizing wipes anywhere in the restaurant. I have been a germaphobe since before the coronavirus so I don't think this is acceptable. I love those little hand sanitizing wipes most Chick-fil-A's carry! I had to bring my food and drink into the bathroom with me in order to clean my hands before eating. Thank goodness I ordered it as a pickup order and it was in a bag already. If I was dining with someone, we could take turns to wash our hands, but for many people that's not always the case. The food was good as usual, thank goodness. If I return to this location, I know to bring my own hand sanitizer or wash my hands before I even place my order. Although I wish I didn't have to learn this the hard way.

It's a Chick-Fil-A! My son really wanted to try it. Chick-Fil-A billboards are plastered all over town so they were working on his subconscious. I had a spicy chicken sandwich which wasn't that spicy. Waffle fries are OK. There was a nice older man roaming around the place checking on people and opening he door. Nice Southern touch. I guess it's a Chick-Fil-A thing. I would have liked something local but sometimes you have to give in to your kids.

Nice staff and clean, but be warned they have a limited menu (not the full Chick-fil-a menu). Nothing GF for breakfast except fruit.

This place is my type of vibe!…read more Trattoria ZaZa has been on my list of places to stop at for several years. Parking often deters me but after attending the Italian Festival earlier that day, we had a craving for pizza. I ordered the combo that includes 2 slices of the day with salad. Since I wasn't overly hungry, I offered him one of my slices and he added another slice to the order. We paid and were given a number to place on our selected table. Jazzy music played in the background while we waited on our order to be brought to the table. The natural lighting, while beautiful, made it a little warm in the building. One of the waitresses propped the door open that leads to the restrooms (which are in the hallway near the elevators) in order for cooler air to make its way in. That wasn't a deal breaker, but do be aware of that on warmer days. Our food came out after a short wait. I kept my 3 cheese slice, and gave him the pepperoni one. The cheeses were very rich and the salad, while simple without the frills, was perfectly sized and drizzled with a balsamic vinaigrette that was just the right amount. While I enjoyed my meal very much and the ambiance, he wasn't overly impressed with his. He didn't want the fresh herbs on his slices and knocked all of them off, lol. He's a simple guy with simple taste. This is definitely a place I will be revisiting with one of my girlfriends and not him next time as he didn't appreciate what ZaZA had to offer. Everyone we encountered was helpful and courteous. Our food, including drinks, was around $28, which was not bad for a cute, eclectic spot downtown. If you haven't been, make sure to try them out soon. Just don't wait as long as I did to visit!

This review is specifically for the catered/box lunches we recently enjoyed from Tasty Town…read more Each lunch was boxed separately and included the silverware packet. That's a huge plus; the number of times I've seen referees having to pass on the side because they didn't have utensils! The entree was a chicken pita. It did have a few fresh onions, but I enjoyed them since I didn't have to be the one dragon breathing around the field all day. We did have a choice of roasted potatoes or basmati rice. The potatoes went much quicker than the rice; I had the potatoes and they were fantastic. There was also a tray of chocolate chip cookies provided. I don't think they were frash made; they looked similar to other restaurants generic chocolate chip cookies. They were a nice addition to the lunch, though. They also provided sweet and unsweet tea in gallon jugs.

They also brought a large side box of chocolate chip cookies that were individually wrapped. Everyone loved the wraps, though the fresh onions were a little rough on some of us. Others took heed and removed a couple so their afternoon running up and down the field wasn't filled with regret. The potatoes were a hit; wish I could get them again.

I ordered the seafood pasta, and you could immediately tell the pasta was homemade. It was fresh, perfectly cooked, and the seafood was beautifully prepared. My daughter had the spaghetti, and my husband ordered the Waldorf salad, which was just as thoughtfully put together. Our waitress also recommended the hummus and house pickles, and I'm so glad we listened. Both were fresh, unique, and the perfect way to start the meal. From the food to the service, everything felt polished without being pretentious. It was one of those meals where every dish was executed with care and attention to detail. Overall, The Essential was such a pleasant surprise and proof that you can find five star dining experiences in the most unexpected places.
