I had a nugget meal delivered through DoorDash, who isn't at fault. The meal is sealed after it is filled at the restaurant. Who ever filled the order did not put the sauces in the bag. Very nice atmosphere but not kid or family friendly. Note that looking up on google it says place place, there isn't one. Not only that but they no longer carry the coloring sheets for kids so plan to bring entertainment for your little one. Other than that the food is delicious and always hot when we eat in restaurant and they are quick. Even at busy times you get your food relatively quick. Staff however are there but they tend to be short and got the vibe of get out of my hair asap. I go thru the drive thru frequently. The staff are always friendly & fast. However, since they opened back up from their year long remodel the drinks and food have gone down hill. I usually get a strip meal with fries & sweet tea. However, I believe they have started watering down the sweet tea so it barely tastes like tea or sugar. The strips are usually good but the fries have not been crispy & seem like they let them set for too long because they are barely warm & limp. So I have tried the lemonade twice. First time I went thru just before closing and thought I got a the last of the batch because it was a little on the bitter side & tasted like the lemon rinds. The second time was middle of the day and I asked the gal how fresh it was. She said she actually had made it just before her break so less than 30 minutes ago. So I tried it again. My conclusion is they must throw the whole lemon in with very little sugar cause it was so bitter that I could barely drink it. I like tart lemonade even if it's not sweet but when it's bitter it's just not good at all! Today I tried breakfast. The chicken biscuit was hot. The chicken was juicy until I bit into the middle & it was tough & squeaky. Still hot though & it was done. So not sure if they barely cooked it long enough or if they microwaved it. The biscuit tastes just like a grands frozen that I can bake at home. Nothing special but still good. The hash browns were warm but ehh just okay. Once again the sweat tea was watery but had a little bit of sugar flavor today. Giving 2 stars because it's not the worst food out there but it's not worth buying weekly either. I am usually a fan of Chick-fil-A cuisine and service, though the latter element of this has been lackluster lately. I would be the first to acknowledge how difficult the recent COVID-related restrictions have made it to conduct business, though this particular location could make some simple alterations to rapidly improve their ability to serve customers. This location can not currently handle their volume of business in a timely fashion. While they attempt to remedy this through the use of split car-lines and human order-takers, this does not solve the issues brought on by the sheer length of the line of cars. A better solution could be achieved via allocating some of the mobile order spaces to delivery drivers to allow them to quickly pick up their delivery items without taking up space and time in the main line. Further, if they made two lines and divided it by mobile vs. in-person orders, it would serve to incentivize customers to place more mobile orders due to the speed of processing that line, which would have a positive feedback effect to decrease wait times. I hope Chik-fil-A reconsiders their setup for the future to ensure the best possible experience for all their customers. I'm available for consulting if they want help doing so! With the dining room now open, we enjoyed our favorite chicken at a table for the first time in quite a while! My spicy sandwich was delicious. Nuggets and waffle fries were consumed by other members of the family with chick-Fil-a sauce on each nugget and fry!! Imagine my surprise when after waiting over 10 minutes to get to the person taking our order (drive-thru) that the only items I could order were nuggets and plain sandwiches due to COVID-19. What??? So, every other fast food restaurant in the country and most restaurants are running full take-out menu they cannot slap a piece of cheese slice or tomato on a sandwich. I arrived to order and only one person at the register...it was not busy, I placed my order and asked for coffee with my meal. So I am receive my meal and no coffee. The lady stated she would bring it to me when it was ready. Needless to say I ate my meal with no coffee or no drink. So as I am about to leave still no coffee or drink I walk to the counter to ask for something so I could leave after all I paid for it. Absolutely pathetic service. Arrived on a SATURDAY on Labor Day weekend and waited in line for over 25 mins because only 1-2 slowly moving people were operating the registers. We ended up missing breakfast by 1 minute and they were not willing to accommodate our breakfast orders. Not entirely sure how this was appropriate staffing for a holiday weekend on a Saturday morning. We frequent Chick Fil A often from our hometown Lexington, KY which ALL operate much more efficiently than this Chick Fil A. This is the worst Chick Fila restaurant I've ever been in, poor customer service, dirty tables and stuff all over the floors. I've seen cleaner restrooms at a gas station, and that's NOT a compliment for the restrooms at the gas stations. The place was difficult to get to as well. This is the worst Chic Fil A ever always slow drive thur service and multiple times I have been there within an hour of them closing they have already turned off the ice cream/ shake machine latest incident was Saturday night at 9:10 pm had to wait in drive thru line for 13 minutes (only 6 cars in line) finally got to order speaker and ordered two #1 with no pickle which I had to repeat 3 times and tried to order two large shakes and was told they already turned ice cream machine off. However there was so little staff that when we finally made it to get served we were past their cut off time of 10:30am. This is the worst Chick-fil-a our family has visited. It happens to be on our way to the beach and other family travel so we use this location 4-6 times a year. Disappointing that this franchise owner is still allowed to represent Chic-fil-a with such poor service year after year.
