Update: I haven't worked at Chick-fil-A since summer 2021. I've never worked with or met the manager who responded to this review. What I did do was report here that on Aug 30, 2025 at 2:50 p.m., I watched an employee cough directly into their hand while bagging my food, no gloves, no handwashing. Instead of addressing the concern (which I wasn't expecting in the first place), the manager dug up my job history from 2021 like that magically makes coughing on food acceptable. Rather than fixing a hygiene issue, management chose to dig up records from 2021, when I was a young teenager, to make it personal over a Yelp review. So if we're being personal, Dear Anthony, pleasure to meet you. So sorry we never got the chance to work together. I'm sure you've already got my number on file after digging through the archives, so feel free to give me a call. I'd genuinely love to hear how you decided that an employee coughing on food wasn't worth addressing. read more

THIS IS MY FAVORITE CHICK-FIL-A!!! My husband and I are signature members with Chick-Fil-A and we have been coming to this one for years. We have been to *most* of the CFAs in and around the Twin Cities and this one is my top favorite, followed closely by the CFA in West Saint Paul. This one is typically cleaned well and we have rarely had any issues with our orders. The service is great too and one of the managers always remembers us, which is so nice. Recently, we ate lunch on the outdoor patio and it was great. The food came out hot and quick! The only suggestion I would have if you want to eat outside during the summer is to sit inside first to get your order and then bring it outside. Unfortunately, they don't usually check outside when bringing the orders out. It's a minor inconvenience, but it does come out quick, so you won't be sitting inside for long. We did that recently and it worked well. I also really like the layout of this CFA compared to others. When we sit inside we typically sit in one of the booths by the window. It's a nice view, with good lighting when it's sunny, and you can see the Target across the way. Not every CFA has booths by the windows like this. For example, the one in Eagan mostly has high tops with chairs. They have very few booths and they don't have booths by the windows. This layout at the CFA in Apple Valley is my favorite! Even the one in West Saint Paul doesn't have the booths right up against the windows. So that is another reason why I prefer this CFA! I don't believe you'll be disappointed with this CFA. The service here is amazing! I've mostly gone thru the drive thru and every time I do so, it's been efficient,easy polite service. The menu is easy to read and although a bit pricy for fast food its worth it! The food is very hot and filling. the regular chicken sandwich-the one that started it all, its good and easy to gulp down when hungry the spicy chicken sandwich-a spinoff the regular-this one has an extra kick to it holding true to its name and i prefer this with a side of ranch milkshakes- honestly the best ive ever had! beats restaurant quality too. strawberry is the best flavor IMO salads- can be a bit expensive but very filling and nutritious, the spicy southwest salad with the avocado lime ranch is my fav of all time chicken wraps-this gives the extra carbs and a nice inbetween from a salad and sandwich. doesn't always fill you up tho. very tasty tho! fries- they cook these in peanut oil apparently and so are supposed to be a bit healthier, sometimes they're a hit but more often than not they're not that seasoned and im not a huge fan. ive tasted better make sure to check their facebook page for deals and promos especially during christmas time. download their app as well because they frequently send free items and have offers like mobile mondays read more

Sure enough they delivered and specifically the apple valley store has been on point ever since. The Burnsville location has had nothing but problems and consistently provides poor service. I honesty can't think of a worse place to eat at. There is absolutely nothing special about this place. The food is tolerable at best. For people who specialize in chucking sandwiches your chicken is just average. It reminds me if something I could get at a gas station. There is just nothing special about this place. I say go to the cub foods that it is in front of and go get frozen chicken patties because the taste is very similar. I say go try it once just to say you have eaten there and for novelty purposes. If you like it that is fantastic and more power to you. Just don't get your hopes up with all the hype because I did and when I ate there I just felt let down and disappointed.
