I went to order and get the code. Sullen young man took my order, handed me my drink. Not his fault, but now I had a drink, and still needed to wash my hands. Managed to get that done, and my name was being called when I returned. Quick service :) That staff member had no smile or "My pleasure" either. These are things I have just enjoyed and come to expect from CFA over the years. The sandwich (the seasonal pimento) was good enough, the fries were great! It was just the staff experience. Waited more than 5 minutes to order. No one else was in front of me. Nice gentleman took my order, finally. Manager in the blue button down shirt, was in the store and walked behind the counter twice to see me there. He didn't offer. Another lady was giving the same lady the bathroom code twice, I was still standing there. Getting ready to leave and go to Canes when the nice older gentlemen (graduated in 1996 he told me) name began with took "J" took my order. He was friendly. Asked for lots of chick fill a sauce for my sandwich, fries, and Mac and cheese. I got 2. Asked another gentleman in a dark blue skirt, kind eyes, for more. He brought me more. This is the worst Chik Fil A location in town. Absolutely terrible customer service. I understand that it is difficult to find good employees these days, but that is where a manager steps in, the lack of any sort of customer service skills as simple as giving a human response to people waiting for refills or trying to order. I watched countless people walk up and away. A young man who appeared to be the manager was hiding in the kitchen prepping bags when the front of the store was clearly falling apart. I have gone to this location for years and tonight 10/7/2024 5pm is the second time in the last couple of months that my foods was terrible!!! This sandwich (#7 grilled) was stone cold(like it had been laying around for hours). This is our at least 4th time going and they don't have Mac n cheese. We ordered using our app and waited 6 minutes for them to come out and tell us it would 30 minutes because they were out...it was 7:30pm on a Friday night and not busy. We couldn't wait 30 minutes because we had 3 angry children who thought they were going to be able to play but they were remodeling. 15 minutes later our food comes out it was ehhh... I realized 20 minutes later I paid $2.00 to upgrade and nothing was offered for the inconvenience, even after my husband told him what happened. Everyone knows and loves Chick-fil-a!! Personally I go about once a month it's good food all around. It's just like any other chicken sandwich from Popeyes or Burger King etc. Difference is the service that they provide from start to finish all the employees are polite and attentive in every way possible. Waited over half an hr in a line that wasn't moving. Asked for my money back and the little boy told me there was nothing he could do about it and laughed. I asked to speak to the manager which never happened. The line was in a standstill so long people were honking and driving over curbs to get out. What a treat. I have not been in a Chick_Fil-A since childhood at the Coastland Mall in Naples Florida. What a treat! Definitely download the app and use mobile ordering. I am tech challenged but even I could figure it out. The service was great! I had no idea what to order so the cashier guided me through the basics, included one of every sauce so I could try them, and it was delicious! Great Job! The parking is tight here, and if you go on the lunch our there will be a line. I have decided this will be a weekend treat mostly as I do not have the stomach for the stress of those looooong lines or the Ahole drivers who have not mastered the "zipper" method and are instead selfish jerks! That is not a reflection on the location just some of the clientele! The food is great, well priced and tastes "restaurant quality" not fast food. It's Chick-fil-A! What's not to love? The service is fast, they offer curbside and drive thru options during Covid. This drive thru has two lanes at this location and the time spent in it for my breakfast was the usual Chick-fil-A speed - fast. The food is consistent and you always know what you are gonna get. They always make sure to see to every detail with things like: sauces, salt, napkins, etc. Yes, I know, it's a religious based company, which I somewhat struggle with, but their food and service is always so good. This restaurant location is right next to Walmart and Krispy Kreme. They are normally very busy. I will assume everyone knows this is a fast food restaurant. Most may also know they're closed on Sunday. What they may not know is that they are very careful about who they hire and how those employees act both on and off work. I'd never thought that I would be giving a fast food place such a high rating... I live in the area and I am constantly going to this location because it's easy and if I have my nieces and nephews they enjoy eating and then being able to play in the playground area. The service is always great I've never had a bad experience at any of the locations. The food is always very hot and the classic or spicy chicken sandwich is SO GOOD. I have had my order messed up a few times, simple things such as the regular sandwich being given rather than the deluxe but that's something I expect from a fast food restaurant mistakes happen! This was our go to Chick-Fil-A for years with excellent food and service. I haven't been for a few months because it declined rapidly. I only checked on Yelp because I was hoping things had improved and the lack of service was just temporary due to all the staffing shortages but I see it's not. Very sad. I had a TERRIBLE experience with management at this Chick-fil-A location. I placed a to-go order, I understand that this is a very busy location so I patiently waited for my order for about 20 minutes. When I got home I realized my order was wrong. I ordered a spicy deluxe but instead got the regular chicken sandwich, additionally I didn't get any sauce that was requested with my order. I truly cannot believe I am leaving a negative review of Chik fil a. It has been my favorite restaurant for years and no one will ever come close to their customer service. But today I ordered a simple chicken club with no tomatoes after leaving the gym before heading to the Westside. I get home and it's just a chicken pattie on a bun...no bacon, no cheese, no lettuce. This restaurant is 3 miles from where I live in work that the only fast food restaurant that I've gone to from a couple times a week to once a month and everything in between. The last three times I've been there, they've missed something. Whether it was something extra that I asked for or for them to use the treats that they sent me -as payment. Today my order should have been $2. I was charged for each item separately and and they didn't even make it into a meal.
