What frustrates me is that businesses will go out of there way to post inaccurate reviews, for the benefit of themselves. Last time I was here I did not get what I expected. The meat was incredibly dry and over cooked. The potatoes were undercooked and bland. The rice seemed dry. Do yourself a favour. Coming from a Portuguese background, do NOT come here if you are expecting something authentic or even just good.

When I confronted the cashier about it, he said the computer said 16.99 and it's the most updated price. If the computer said 1000 dollars, am I supposed to pay 1000 dollars? Later the cashier went to the back (assuming to talk to the manager/owner), and he gave me back a loonie (technically it should have been 1.13, but whatever). My friend suggested visiting Caldense as we were in the neighbourhood and it was a good experience! I got the Chicken Caesar Wrap, some pastries, and my friend got a pork sandwich and pineapple square. The wrap was pretty tasty, loaded with ingredients, but slightly too oily for my preference. The wrapper was similar to a thin pita, it was small and barely wrapped around all the ingredients. It was under $10 (I believe $7.50+tax) and well worth the price!
