This experience was so incredibly relaxing, and I highly recommend! I booked a 60 minute essential…read moremassage through ClassPass with 51 credits, which amounts to about $105 (based on my class pass plan), compared to the regular price of $139 (not including gratuity). It was worth every credit and I honestly would come back and pay the regular price! Upon arriving to the spa, the receptionist greeted me and gave me a tablet to check in and fill out my preferences for the massage, including choosing the style of music, scent of body butter, conversation level, and pressure. I loved they had a little display where you can smell the many body butter options before choosing one, and the friendly receptionist gave me her recommendations for a lighter scent. On the tablet you also answer questions about your health related to the massage (sensitive areas or injuries for example) so the masseuse is aware. After I was done they gave me a tour of the women's locker room which was immaculately clean. They had 2 changing rooms, a shower, private bathroom, a sink with lots of amenities, clean towels, slippers, and lockers. They gave me a locker which had my robe to change into. The robe was sooooo soft and fluffy. It had a nice weight to it, like I was wearing a blanket but with pockets! They encouraged I take my time and when I was changed and ready, I could walk into the lounge waiting area where my masseuse would meet me. The lounge had soft lighting, a nice variety of snacks and sweets and tea, comfy seating, a journal with little encouraging messages from past patrons, books and coloring, and a heated container with neck pillows that you can use! My masseuse arrived promptly so I enjoyed these amenities after my massage. The masseuse Eric was so lovely! They showed me to a massage room, oriented me to where to put my robe and glasses, and let me know the table was heated and they could adjust it to my preference. They also asked about my massage preferences and areas of focus. Once I was settled in, Eric came back and I had the most relaxing swedish massage! Perfect pressure and balanced on both sides. I was floating after! They brought me tea after and then I spent some time in the lounge. Overall incredible experience. All the staff were lovely, and the experience from entering the spa to leaving was so relaxing. I also loved the have a huge free parking lot! Its a shared parking lot in a plaza, so you can park right in front. It was a bit tricky to get into the lot from the main street if you have to turn left into it (you'll see a large sign for SPF which is a pickle ball spot that shares the lot). I ended up turning left into a small street and finding my way into the lot from there. Definitely check it out for your next spa day!

I was hoping for a different result with my haircut. I had asked for a butterfly haircut with…read moreface-framing curtain bangs and tapered layers to get some lightness and volume but the outcome ended up being a mediocre haircut. I even showed some photos just to give her the idea of what I really wanted. Unfortunately, the back hair was so heavy and not layered literally a blunt straight cut. Some strands were uneven on the temple area. And I do not have any curtain bangs as desired. My hair is thick and needs texturing and thinning shears to give it that nice flow. I was expecting something softer and more textured. I just wanted to share this feedback to tutor stylist on some popular haircuts. The salon is really gorgeous and modern and the staff is very polite I just wish I had came out with a desired haircut from this salon.

The reason why I'm leaving two stars here tonight is because I recently gave her another chance thinking she Might listen to me and surprise me with a good hair reshaping. Last week I saw Cressida and explained that two years ago I received short layers from a man who owned a private salon in Lakeview. I told her it was taking a very long time to grow the layers out and that I'm just in need of a reshaping. I asked her to cut my hair wait due to my wavy 2c curl pattern but she refused to listen to me and decided to instead flat iron my hair. I left with thinned out hair and tried to be gracious. But on Sunday I got my hair wet and noticed she had removed too much weight off my bottom layer and my hair felt much lighter and took only about 30 minutes to dry instead of two hours! I thought it looked more wavy than curly and thought ok I can deal with it but recently I put my shampoo throughout and as it dried I literally say a lot of stringiness in the front of my face. I realized she had followed an old line pattern from the original person who had given me short layers at my crown. It's like she didn't listen to me at all and she put those short layers everywhere even throughout the back of my head. She literally violated my trust and tonight I noticed burn marks on the sides of my forehead where her flat iron accidentally touched my skin. I scheduled a consultation with the owner and showed him how the cut looked curly and explained it definitely wasn't a cut I asked for because my goal was fewer layers and long hair. I asked him what exactly had Cressida done because I almost felt it could be intentional. I didn't mention she hurt me with the flat iron while touching my fringe. He said Cressida gave me collapsible layers extending my hair to make it look "longer". I literally cried in front of him because since wearing it curly this week all compliments to my hair have stopped. When I had cut my own hair I received compliments to my hair but after Cressida "blended" layers I am left with short layers that will definitely not grow out beautifully. Moving forward i will be going to a curly hair specialist or at least not cutting anything for several months. The owner did agree to refund me in full and at least he listened to me. The reason I'm writing this review is because I see that Cressida put me a full year behind my goal. She removed too much weight off my bottom layer and added too many layers which gave me short layers all over again which I was patiently growing out. These are recent photos. I'm relieved Salon buzz issued me a refund but I'm very disappointed that Cressida chose to cut my hair by adding too many layers when my hair is so fine. I'm not sure why she insisted on using a flat iron to cut my hair when I warned her how curly my hair is.

This spa experience felt like a magical dream…read more As soon as you enter their facilities downstairs and you walk through their doorway you are transported into a zen filled space that hugs you within. You are greeted with a warm smile as they check you in and given gentle directions where you can change in their large facility into your robe and slippers. Then they guide you to where you can go to wait to meet your masseuse. It was a last minute booking and the last slot for an evening massage. It wasn't long at all before my smiling masseuse came to come and get me. Before I knew it I was laying face down getting the most relaxing massage I've had in a long time. This place serves at a high end level of excellence. My masseuse was very professional and just knew the perfect level of pressures to get all the knots, kinks, and stress print up on my back. This place lifts and floats you away from the business of the outside world and the whirls that swirl around inside your head. They know how to relax you to the max and send you off relaxed and recharged for the world. I hope to go back there sooner than later.

After securely storing our belongings in lockers, we were guided to the serene lounge area to relax before our services. My partner and I booked the Couples Journey, which was the perfect indulgence. It began with a full-body scrub, followed by 25 minutes soaking in a luxurious infinity tub with lavender Epsom salts, and finished with a heavenly 60-minute massage. I had Javier as my therapist, and he was absolutely phenomenal, one of the best massages I've ever had. His technique and pressure were spot on. My partner had Elizabeth, who was also excellent and very sweet she made us feel so comfortable and thoroughly explained everything. After our treatment, we returned to the lounge where we were offered light snacks, tea, and water. Once refreshed, we each headed to the wet lounge, which features a sauna, steam rooms, and showers. I personally loved the steam room and spent most of my time there, although I did notice the sauna wasn't heating properly during our visit. The spa was overall very clean and well-maintained. However, I echo a few other reviewers in saying the bathroom could use a bit more attention. That said, it wouldn't deter me from returning we had a wonderful, relaxing day and will absolutely be back.
