We're so grateful for CPTWC!…read more Our daughter has been through physical therapy, occupational therapy, and feeding therapy--and we cannot say enough good things about this place. Every therapist (Natalie, Lexie and Kirsten) we've worked with has been kind, professional, and incredibly skilled at meeting kids where they are while gently encouraging them forward. The team not only helped my daughter meet all her milestones, they also empowered us as parents to understand her needs and support her at home. We especially appreciated how collaborative they were across disciplines--she was treated as a whole child, not just a checklist of goals. CPTWC has truly been a part of our village. We've referred several friends here (and they've all had great experiences too). If you're looking for a warm, expert, and family-centered approach to pediatric therapy, CPTWC is it.

Chips Cheese…read more Alex is not only a great speech pathologist, but a wonderful person all around. Throughout my life, I felt like I my communication or speech was a little off. As an adult, I felt it was time I could take charge of that. Alex was able to assess, work with me, and give me the tools I need to articulate in a clearer way. More specifically, Alex helped with a little bit of a lisp issue, breath support, and fluency. I believe this will help me be a better communicator in my career and in life. More over, I know that Alex will be supportive if I ever feel the need for check-ins or additional support. Thank you Alex!

Lino started Speech Therapy through Early Intervention in January 2025. At that time, he was using…read moresingle words, able to name pictures here and there, but couldn't even say "help" when I could see he was asking for it in his own way. His patience was short, which made communication tough. He also had delays with motor skills. He could hold utensils and knew they were for eating--he would bring them to his mouth--but he wasn't able to hold them strongly or in the correct way. After months of practice and support, he's now using utensils just fine, and I'm so proud of how far he's come. He began receiving Speech Therapy-Grace, Occupational Therapy-Madelyn, and Developmental Therapy-Shirley once a week. After 8 months of consistent therapy, the progress has been incredible. Lino is now able to make sentences, loves to sing, and can clearly say what he wants. His play skills have also grown--he enjoys playing with others and now involves people around him, which has been wonderful to see. We are especially grateful to his therapist, who has shown how much they truly care about Lino. The patience, dedication, and encouragement they've given him (and us as parents) mean so much. They don't just teach--they celebrate every small win with us, and that has made all the difference. Looking back, it's amazing to see how much progress he has made, and we are deeply thankful for the team who has supported him every step of the way.

As a very experienced user of PTN's various therapy services, I am honored to be writing their…read morefirst review! I love PTN for the following reasons: -- New client logistics: I found it very difficult to find a pediatric speech or physicial therapist in Chicago who would bill my medical insurance rather than require up-front payment out of pocket. PTN was very helpful and accommodating while I petitioned my insurance company get them to cover services (which they eventually agreed to do). They bill my insurance first, then charge me for the balance AFTER they receive information from my insurance company regarding my patient responsibility. -- Child evaluation: I have had Speech, PT, and OT evaluations on my children at various times over the past 6 months. I have been very impressed with the quality of the evaluation sessions, the advice on what we can do at home, and the written reports we have received after the fact. In some cases therapy was not recommended, which I appreciate. -- Home-based treatment: Having done office-based PT for one of my children previously, I was skeptical about the home-based model at first. Having experienced it now for the last 6 months, I wouldn't do it any other way. We have higher quality sessions since the kids are comfortable in our home and we learn to incorporate things we have in the house into therapy so that we can continue the work even when it is not "therapy time." It is also very convenient not having to pack up and drive my child across town for appointments (I am a working Mom). -- Quality of services: We have had PT and Speech Therapy for our kids through PTN and had fantastic results working with Triston and Tom. I especially liked the way that they could discuss my children as a team and make sure that they were coordinating care and sharing information to ensure that everyone was seeing the same thing and working towards the same goal. We also had an evaluation for OT and found that to be satisfactory as well. It is worth noting that I have also been through the Chicago Early Intervention process. I strongly preferred working with PTN. I can't say enough good things about the experience that I have had.

Two of my three children are clients of Lumiere through both Early Intervention and Private Speech…read moreTherapy. Our speech pathologists and physical therapists have exceeded ALL our expectations and I felt it important to share here for reference for other families. My son's delays were both about 30% in speech and also in physical development. So, we did not have a high-needs situation, however they've each made incredible improvements in less than 5 months. Here are the reasons I feel Lumiere Children's Therapy was a perfect fit for us: 1. The therapists are accessible and flexible and respond quickly to my text requests. 2. Each therapist that has worked in my home with my youngest in IE has been respectful, considerate and WELL trained. They patiently work with the wide range of emotions and challenges my son presents. I've connected with each therapist and trust them. 3. The therapy is working. As I watch the therapist work with each of my sons, I'm surprised at the simplicity of what they do. Though it looks 'easy' it's working and it's more than I was able to and they target delays I was unaware of. 3. The facility is well cared for, inspiring and welcoming for my sons and I. (It looks new) I bring all three sons to the sessions for my 6 year old and the staff is happy to let us play with their new toys for that hour. 4. The billing coordinator calls me directly, receives and responds quickly to my questions and has made the experience very positive. I feel she is on the side of the parents. I highly recommend this group to families that are looking for therapy to be a positive experience for their children. My sons are sensitive and highly reactive and I know it is the expertise & energy of the therapists that is moving us forward.
