Video-Comm Security Cameras

Archer Heights

I'd been looking for an experienced technician to repair a couple of my security cameras for quite…read moresome time. I hadn't had any luck finding a reputable company asking friends, family, or neighbors, so I decided to google local companies who might be able to help. That's how I found Video-Comm. The reviews looked promising, so I gave them a call. Rafael answered and agreed to come over the same day. I told him the cameras over my garage were out, and he agreed to try and repair them. Rafael told me there'd be a service fee plus the cost of labor. He quoted me a conservative estimate of about $300. Rafael and his colleague Diego arrived on time and ready to work. I left them to work in the rear of the property while I tended to my yard. They worked diligently for about three hours before successfully repairing the cameras. It turns out that the wires needed to be replaced. Rafael and Diego replaced the existing wires with copper wires and rewired them. I'm not sure of all the technical jargon, but that was the gist of it. Rafael and Diego had their own truck that had all the equipment they needed. They were quiet and respectful of the property. They cleaned up after themselves, leaving the space as they first encountered it. The final bill was $308. I found Rafael competent, professional, and affable. I'll definitely be calling him again if necessary. In fact, I asked him to send over a quote for an upgraded set of cameras. Now that I've found someone I trust, I'll definitely get new cameras sometime soon.

I request service and they came out on a Monday afternoon for a free consultation and property inspection, and by Wednesday afternoon--just 48 hours later--they had installed four high-quality cameras, set up a monitor, and provided an easy-to-use app for remote viewing. At a great value as well. The installers were professional, efficient, and meticulous, ensuring everything was set up seamlessly. The quality of their work exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I highly recommend Video-Comm Security and will absolutely be using them again in the future!

Last summer, we had a break-in at our condo entrance, and found a need for a Full Length Interlocking Door Guard. (Highly recommended as burglars love to shimmy a screwdriver between your door and lock & open into your place easier than a SPAM can.) Pro Video Security let us select the guard. They gave a great bid to put install. We even chose to do 2 doors, given their great rate. Flash forward to 6 months later we found a small (but significant) installation error on one of the doors. Rather than haggle and hassle, they came right out and fixed it at ZERO extra cost. (As expected.) On top of that: The fix came right on time. We caught this picture of a rather infamous trio (USPS is after them) trying to break in and being foiled by the door guard. SEE PIC.

I wanted to be able to keep a watch on the dogs and also of course on my house in general. I bought the equipment from Provideo and I am all the way in California, so I had a local person install the equipment for me, and Perry took over the remote customer service, which has been far above and beyond what anybody could ever expect from customer service. If anything goes wrong, he is right there ready to help me fix it and get it up and running again. I could probably find someone locally, but there is no way I would ever find such great, friendly, knowledgeable customer service. So wherever you are in the world, these guys are the best! Thank you, Perry!

I've been wanting to get cameras at my home since moving here a bit over a year ago. I don't even…read moreremember how I stumbled upon 606 installs but it was lucky. Another company I had spoken with had quoted me more than twice the price, I guess because the cameras they use are fancy or something? I don't know, because the ones Ernesto installed are great and doing precisely what I wanted. When I was on my search for home security cameras, I kept mostly finding things like ADT, SimpliSafe, or something else that was largely about selling you the monitoring plan; the equipment I think was less expensive but then you're paying for the monitoring. I am not generally a fan of the everything-is-now-a-subscription-or-service thing nor do I want to be beholden to whatever rates a company decides to charge. Some of those also were self-install options, which didn't interest me at all. They hooked up several cameras at our home to provide various views, including the basement since I wanted to be able to see what's happening down there when I'm upstairs. The system has a hard drive that can support up to eight cameras. We can save photos, videos, and also play back to see what happened earlier in the recording on the various cameras. Although they could have provided a monitor, we don't really have a place for it so we simply have an app on our phone through which we can view the cameras. I'm not sure why, but I thought it would go much more quickly than it did. I have no frame of reference to know how long it should have taken so that's not a criticism. It took about six hours total but having it done well was the most important part. I would highly the crew at 606 installs for their professionalism, reasonable rate, and excellent work.

Since each screen is custom made, this is necessary. After three cinderblocks were thrown through my windows I got the security screens installed. The screens are very aesthetic to the eye and I have received compliments on how nice they look. More importantly, they have kept myself and my property safe. Two more cinderblocks have been thrown at the windows and caused no damage because of the screens. A week ago the criminal targeting the building set off an m80 firework at our front door and the door was destroyed. Last week an m80 was jammed into the window panel near my bedroom window and set off. One window behind the screens did get blown up but the screens remained perfectly in tact. Pieces of concrete were blown off the building from the explosion but again, no damage to the screens. These are very heavy duty and they work. Scott has been a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend Midwest Security Screens to anyone looking to make their home or business more secure. When I move in the near future I will have security screens installed on my new home. Thank you for helping keep me safe!
