The Marriott Naperville always delivers. I have stayed here several times and really like the location and the easy parking. The rooms are clean, modern, and spacious, and what makes it feel different from other hotels is how quiet and relaxing it is even when the lobby is busy. The highlight for me is the hot tub. I love relaxing there at the end of the day, and it stays open until 11pm, which is perfect since I usually get back late. The staff is friendly and there is plenty to do around the hotel.

Spacious and clean room. The staffs at front counter was friendly when I checked in. The bed was comfortable. Clean white sheets and white comforter. Hotel located across the street from a group of restaurants which made it convenient to walk to for dinner while I was there. Hotel lobby had a bar, coffee shop and plenty of seating area. The night we were there, they had music down in the lobby about 9pm. There was a gym and pool on the premise but I did not use it.

I utilized this hotel for our wedding hotel block. This is a large hotel with many rooms, conference rooms, and parking. It is convenient to I88 and local restaurants. Inside the hotel there is a bar and Starbucks. During the afternoon, we had to ask the front desk to find the bartender. The hotel room didn't have a safe. There is a master safe at the front desk, but I didn't feel comfortable with utilizing that. I didn't find the pillows to be very comfortable. Hot water got suuuuuper hot. I had a suite, and it was pretty spacious. I was able to have both a hair and makeup artist in the room at the same time and had enough space. Decent hotel if in the area.

Came to this hotel for a conference therefore I stayed here as well. Had a great stay. The rooms are so clean, staff are amazing with service and the bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again. The hotel has a bar, restaurant and Starbucks in it.

Salman and Janet were working the concierge desk when my friends and I checked in. Both were extremely patient, helpful and courteous. Part of our group speaks only Russian and it took a little back and forth to make sure all of the reservations were correct and to make payments and explain the check in. I really appreciated the cleaniliness and great welcome of this hotel. Another plus is the hotel has a restaurant and Starbucks!!

I came here for an expo, not to spend the night in the hotel. Several expos were running simultaneously today, so I can conclude this is a popular mini-convention venue. The expos had plenty of tables, linen, and kitchen equipment. That's good. Hotel guests have access to computers, a fitness center, and indoor swimming pools. I saw people running around in wet towels and having fun. Also, there is a full Starbucks in the lobby, plus an overpriced wine bar ($16 per glass, $32-60 per bottle). Whew, now that's a mark-up! Of course, if u were staying in the hotel, u would bring in your own wine.

Don't sit down before you shut the door.

Beautiful front entrance. Beautiful lobby. Very comfortable beds. Rooms are severely outdated and the bathroom is comically small.

Our ballroom is so beautiful, and everything looked absolutely stunning on our special day. Here I wanted to THANK YOU Katie Jones, the hotel manager, for being so professional, accommodating, and supportive throughout the entire planning process, especially when we decided to switch from the Cyprus Room to Ballroom B, just three weeks before the wedding. She made the change stress and handling everything with her good care. We're so grateful for her patience, attention to detail, and for making the entire process so smooth. Our guests were so impressed with the venue and the level of service. This is one of the best venues to celebrate weddings. We highly recommend Hotel Arista to any couple looking for a classy, beautiful, and memorable wedding venue. Also, the parking is very convenient for everybody. However, there are two areas where we think this hotel SHOULD improve: 1. Food Quality - We chose lamb and duck for our main entrées. While the lamb was excellent, the duck unfortunately, turned out VERY salty and quite different from the delicious version we had during the tasting. It was a bit disappointing since food is such an important part of the wedding experience. 2. Reservation - One of our special guests faced a BIG inconvenience due to a reservation miscommunication. We had confirmed a few times with the front desk that charges would go to the card on file and not the guest directly. Unfortunately, the guest was charged anyway, which caused him to miss his flight and pay double fees to rebook. The solution is, we called the reservation front desk, and they apologized and offered us two free nights as compensation. In conclusion, aside from these two issues, everything else about our wedding day was truly memorable. The staff was attentive, the ballroom looked stunning, and the overall service was excellent. We're still very happy we chose Hotel Arista as our wedding venue, but we hope the hotel can make improvements in those areas for future couples and guests.

The gentleman at the front desk was so very nice! Great customer service. Got an upgrade to a suite, he checked us in told us to get breakfast and take a nap before our conference! Wow! We didn't spend too much time here but sleep. The room did have a smell to it. The window was left a Crack but even with the fresh air it still smells. We really like the room and it's location. It was only one night so there was no problem. I would stay here again!

I would make it easy by breaking down my rating into a few categories. 1) hotel location This is located in Warrenville, close to Naperville, but definitely far from the Chicago city downtown (approximately 40 min drive). Most guests were traveling by car. Hence, parking space was ample to accommodate customers staying at both Hyatt Place/Hyatt House. The hotel didn't offer airport shuttle, stated in their website site. Shuttle bus service to nearby places, with 5 miles I believe, was available upon request. 2) check-in The receptionist told us that the room wasn't ready when we came in around 3:15pm, so we were told to wait at least for 20 minutes or would be offered a different type of room (basically the same setup, except there was no separate bedroom). The wait wasn't awful, yet I was expecting the room would be ready when the check-in hour began. The receptionist was beyond courteous and friendly and let us have the beverages and snacks in their market place fridge while we waited. Fortunately, the kids weren't acting up and quietly played their newly-bought toys. 3) the room I booked the one-bedroom, with a separate living room, kitchen, and dining area. The room appeared clean at the first glance. However, there were details missed on the carpet, underneath the dining table booth, and the cover on top of the convertible sofa bed, for a good number of hair strings, stains, and dust were found. Speaking of the sofa bed, it wasn't that comfortable due to the quality of mattress attached to it. If you are one of the individuals who care about the sleep quality or are staying for a longer duration, spending an additional $100 to upgrade to a two-bedroom might be necessary. In our case, we were doing alright since the sofa bed was in a much lower platform than the regular king bed. With that said, our petite 2-year old was able to climb to the sofe bed without assistance. 4) surrounding noise I'm guilty to say that we were probably the noise-makers, if any hotel patron heard us. We were parents with 2 young children and they were definitely playful and throwing tantrums from time-to-time. Otherwise, being bothered by noises shouldn't a concern at all while staying here. 5) amenities and free hot breakfast The hotel basics, such as a gym, an indoor pool, a small bar in the dining area were available but we didn't use it. Nevertheless, we took advantage of the breakfast and that was great and our kids enjoyed the offerings as well. The only very, very slight disappointment was that there was no made-to-order omelet station like what I experienced in some other Hyatt hotel chains in the past, and that was totally an-OK. 6) so why 3.5 stars? The room keys were deactivated early after myself and my partner finished the breakfast with each of our children downstairs. My key was deactivated mysteriously after I took our younger one for a walk in the morning. Luckily, my partner and our older one were in the room at that tine so there was no problem. Likewise, the similar scenario happened to my partner/older son, so we avoided having to ask the front desk for help yet that was strange. Ultimately, the rating was downgraded due to the overall cleaniness of the room. It absolutely could use more attention or it might be time to change out the in-room carpet. I booked the room with my company leisure travel discount and the price was reasonable in my opinion. It was our first time taking kids for an overnight suburb stay and it went well. I would still recommend Hyatt House Chicago/Naperville/Warrenville for traveling as a family or a group.

When I walked in, the door was locked, which I can appreciate additional security when in comes to spending the night at hotels and not allowing people off the street to walk in. But then, I called the hotel, multiple times, could hear the phone ringing from where I was standing outside, yet no answer. The front desk at hotels should be staffed at all times, so at this point I was ready to walk away and book somewhere else as I've gotten no response and figured no one was working. At last, after a few times of calling--someone finally picks up, asks how they can help me. I say I'm out front, waiting to get in to check in. No response on the phone, then 20 seconds later I get buzzed into the lobby. Obviously annoyed, I give the guy who came out from hiding my ID and credit card, and then I say something along the lines of "does this hotel not require anyone to answer the phone or let people in when they arrive?". He did not acknowledge the comment, apologize for his lack of effort at his job, or show any bit of care. Check in process complete, did not acknowledge my status as they're supposed to at Marriott properties, and then I say something again--hey it'd be nice if someone answered the phone the first time and let me in, instead of me waiting outside calling multiple times, I was ready to walk away. His response was "I got one phone call and answered it". I could hear the phone ringing, along with the fact I know I called more than once, but wasn't worth the argument. I did not appreciate his lack of ownership to him not doing his job. This hotel needs to look into finding new staff who don't mind doing the basics of their job and can be professional to the guests. Room itself was a little outdated but fine. UPDATE: leaving this AM, there was a woman working the front desk who seemed happy and friendly. So they do have some good staff, I just had a poor experience.

Our rooms included not only a desk and upholstered chair, but also a sofa and two leather ottomans/tables. In some hotels the mere addition of the sofa/seating area would designate the room as a suite and bump up the cost significantly. WiFi and cable TV were available, of course. The large, well-appointed bathroom featured a generously-sized travertine walk-in shower and had the quietest toilet I've ever encountered. The furnishings are upscale and modern. I was smitten with the locally handcrafted organic French lavender & chamomile bar soap. The shampoo and conditioner were an eco-friendly line from Gilchrist & Soames, a provider of toiletries to upscale and luxury hotels worldwide. All rooms are located on the upper floor of the Culinary & Hospitality Center -- accessible by key only -- and have floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake next to The Mac. The view during our July stay was especially lovely as there were "islands" of flowers in bloom in the water. There is espresso, coffee, and a selection of teas. There is an assortment of fruit and pastries. There is housemade granola. But the most wonderful part of breakfast is the housemade yogurt. You have never had yogurt this good! In fact, I would book a room just so I can have the yogurt. With a bit of honey and some granola or fruit ... heaven! I can't praise the staff at the Inn enough. I've not encountered a more professional or friendly staff at any other hotel in any price range. They make you feel welcome. They make you feel special. They make you feel like you're getting away from it all even if, like us, you're a mere 5 miles from home. Fully and highly recommended.
