Definitely coming back here again. Very friendly atmosphere and helped me every step of the way finding me a new pair of glasses.

Julie and team have helped me for 20 years. Great location, superb service. Just the best !

Julie and team are simply fantastic! Just go there and you will feel the difference and your wallet will feel it too!

I was recently given new eyeglass prescriptions. When I get new prescriptions I normally get three pair of eyeglasses. One pair for colorblind assistance, one pair of normal progressives and one pair of polarized sunglasses. As is my usual habit, I went to Chic Optique where I had always had a very good relationship and have purchased thousands of dollars' worth of eyeglasses in the past, and where they've always been most helpful. But not this time. To my shocking surprise, this time they were snotty, arrogant, surly and totally unhelpful. I nearly ran to get out of the place with the mindset that I'll never return. I had decided to first get my colorblind assist eyeglasses which they do no sell and cannot handle, but to order them I needed my pupil distance; a rather easy simple matter to determine and one that involves no overhead cost on their part. But they refused to do it with the words "if we don't sell it (which they are unable to do anyway) we won't do that," without any alternate suggestions or helpfulness. Because of that shot of unnecessary surly nastiness I sure as heck will not buy the other eyeglasses that they do sell from them. I'll go elsewhere for them as well as all of my future eyeglass needs. Like I was really aghast at such attitude along with their lack of any helpful suggestions. So for me it's adios and goodbye to Chic Optique. You've lost me as a customer. I'll never buy from you again nor will I ever recommend you to anyone else I had in the past. read more

Julie and her business approach to unsatisfied customers. Being a customer of 15 years I expected Julie to rectify a problem not shut the door on it! Julie the owner of Chic Optique is not a good business owner. Julie would not accept responsibility for her staff and business mistakes. It is a shame when a business owner does not take ownership of their own errors related to a customer of 15 years!! READ THE OTHER ONE STAR REVIEWS written by other long time customers !! Terrible business practices here! I simply called today to order two boxes of contacts. The staff member could not locate my file. I asked the staff person to ask Julie to help her find my file ( one that is 15 years old ). Julie left me a voicemail saying my prescription was expired. And I would need a new exam! I called to speak with Julie and told her that I did have an eye exam there in May of this year and my prescription would not be expired. When I asked for a discount on the lenses Julie declined immediately. It certainly is a shame when a business owner cannot accept responsibility and try to make it right for a customer of15 years. Earlier this year when I made the appointment for the exam she didn't think I had, her staff thought I was my deceased husband who has been dead for three years! So, beware of Chic Optique, Julie didn't know my name or that I had an exam this year. The unprofessionalism and lack of customer relations is a trait that Chic Optique operates with. read more

I had been away from South Forida for work and had not been able to go to Chic Optique. But I returned and saw the Optometrist, Dr, Noor. He adjusted my prescription, and I am seeing more clearly than I have in a long time. If you have a difficult prescription or are unhappy with your current Optometrist, I strongly recommend Dr. Noor at Chic Optique. You will not be disappointed. read more

What a wonderful place! I have never seen such a huge selection of designer frames. Just a few off the top of my head Gucci, Tom Ford, Versace and many more. You can definitely find the frames of your dreams here. The store is clean and brightly lit. They have a comfy sofa if you would like to sit. They are also dog friendly. The staff is all amazing they definitely know their stuff. I was happily greeted when I walked in and made to feel at ease. They have an optometrist on site. He is nice and very thorough in his exam. They take numerous different insurance plans. I have gotten my glasses here for the last 5 years and they always fit them properly on my face making adjustments here and there till they are perfectly fitted. They also offer state of the art lenses and contacts too. I definitely highly recommend you stop by and check out their huge selection. read more

Located in the Shoppes of Wilton Manors shopping, the Chic Optique is a small local business and the best eye glass shop in town. The optometrists have gotten my eye glass prescription better than any of the previous shops I have been to. I was so extremely pleased with my new glasses and customer service by the staff, I went back and got a back up pair of glasses. The staff is friendly, professional and really take the time to provide exceptional customer service. I highly recommend them to any one looking for a new optics shop who will take care of you. My glasses have had a few minor accidents and the staff fixed my glasses on the spot with no charge. They offer a great selection of pairs, great prices and really make you feel like your business matters. read more

I happen to go into their store while eating at a restaurant nearby. I was just browsing frames and to that point had always gotten my glasses from LensCrafters. Their sales person, Julie, was so sweet, and spent so much time with me discussing all the things I've learned during my first three years of wearing glasses. We basically designed the perfect pair for me, even though I was not buying that day. She told me come by anytime, and that she would remember our conversation. Sure enough, when it came time to buy a new pair about 6 months later, I went back, and she did remember me! I bought an amazing pair of Persols with all the features I had been wanting, and she even made adjustments to the lenses after I got them to make sure they were absolutely perfect. They couldn't be nicer there, and even if they were a little more expensive than a LensCrafters, when I calculate in the service and expertise, they are more than worth it. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you! read more

Hands down a great optical store in South Florida; Professional eye exam, polite service and timely delivery of a pair of prescription reading glasses! And this is from someone who doesn't love eye exams! I would highly recommend this store! read more

Fast and great prices!! I like supporting the smaller mom n pops rather than the large corporations. Excellent service! Great experience!

Amazing service and eyewear. They work within your budget to get you the best package. They have a huge variety of frames and really give you very personal attention! Very refreshing!!! read more

After hearing from a few friends and neighbors that they are amazing here I decided to give them a try for a vision test, year supply of contacts and a new pair of glasses. I was so impressed with the attention that I received - Julie worked with me to find the best price for what I needed given my insurance plan. Everyone that is a part of the operation was friendly and helpful - I needed my glasses rushed and they made it happen! I'm so happy to support a local business such as this (especially now during the COVID crisis). It was also clear that the boutique has put a lot of thought and care into COVID prevention. There are only so many allowed in at once, frames are sterilized after you try them on, and social distancing is enforced! I will be back!! Thanks, ladies! read more

I've had a few sets of glasses made. I've been very impressed with the professionalism knowledge and the array of frames that are available. The staff is awesome and works with you for a perfect solution. read more

Julie, Karen, Ed, and Marcus are top notch on service and knowledge. I have been going to parts of this team since before they moved down here to Fort Lauderdale/Wilton Manors area for almost 20 years. Always have a great selection, great prices, and most importantly they know what looks good on my face. They also have an eye doctor is on site (better to set an appt he is busy) but the GREAT news is while your eyes are dilated you can go across the street to New York Grilled Cheese Co. You guys know I'm not afraid to drive for good food, but I'm also not afraid to drive for good service. This is a great place check it out and then grab a grilled cheese read more

I was traveling from Atlanta staying in Wilton Manors and tore my contact lens. I had no backup and needed to stop in and get an eye exam and contact lens prescription. Chic Optique obliged me at 1pm on a Saturday after walking in to ask about an appointment at 10AM. Dr. Asalone was an absolute charm and honestly was the most pleasant eye exam I've had in years. It doesn't hurt his voice is soothing and relaxing. The whole team was polite and went out of their way to make it a positive experience. They're out of network for me but I don't even care... I may just have a new and solid excuse to go to Florida. read more

Been going there for years spending lots of money. I ordered glasses that didn't work right and I called them and they said They couldn't help me.... WTH, I know the mark-up with the glasses and tell me the price of new lenses. Seems like they have enough business and I should go elsewhere. Bye read more

Karen & her staff greeted me right away. I had such a memorable experience at our local store today. Doctor Brian was so professional and really listened to my concerns. Karen had the best taste for sunglasses & reading glasses. I was so happy after leaving. I was also so amazed by the amount of options. I will absolutely be telling my friends and family CHIC OPTIQUE is the best place to shop. Can't wait to go back! read more

I was not told I am out of network until after the eye exam. Then I was told not to worry that United HC would reimburse me and I would pay next to nothing in the end. Not true.. United said they only will give me $40 back. I called chic optique to discuss with them and they called me a liar and said they never told me that. Now they wont make my glasses and said to come get a refund. Buyer beware!! The guy up front has a major attitude and lied about my reimbursement from the insurance. Deceptive!!!! read more

About the friendliest staff imaginable... Very professional, helpful patient and experts in the optometry ! Purchased the best set of no line bifocals about 2 years ago Got the latest transition lenses so wouldn't have to get sunglasses. They put me into the best frames for my lifestyle, didn't try and up sale me on some nonsense designer frames or needless upgrades ! My Oakley's have served me well and whenever I've needed an adjustment or minor repair they helped immediately with a smile and without charge .... Well it's time for a eye examination and I will definitely schedule one with them ....and I feel confident if I need a new prescription they will honestly do me right ...I here there's a new advance in transaction lens so I'd be glade to have them put me in new frames and the latest updated eye wear Thanks for everything ladies and gentlemen....I can't recommend anyone other than them for any of your eye care needs 5 Stars read more

I recently went to Chic Optique after asking several people whose glasses I admired where they got them. Well this shop didn't disappoint. Their selection is amazing from all the big designers to ones I hadn't heard of. I wear my glasses from the moment I wake till bedtime so I wanted something light weight. I went with a brand called igreen. It took me forever to decide and this staff couldn't have been nicer. They were fun and accommodating. They worked with me until we got the perfect fit. Everyone there is great and Owner is on site. I highly recommend this shop, I will definitely go back. Even though they may not want me. lol read more

I have been going to the Chic Optique for over a decade and they have provided me with contact lenses and glasses. Went there last Friday, underwent an evaluation by the doctor and ordered new glasses. These were ready in less than a week and they are perfect. The staff is very friendly and professional, there is always parking spaces available and I highly recommend it for anyone in need of eyesight evaluation or glasses. read more

I visited to have my own experience as typically reviews are written when one is upset and not when quality service is received. When I arrived I asked to use the restroom as I was traveling from Miami and of course I was ignored and had to ask again 20 minutes later when I was allowed. While there a customer was arguing with Julie as he wanted to see an employee who was in the back and she kept telling him to leave and would not answer his questions. She told him a few times she would call the police if he didn't leave. I actually was getting a bit nervous as people are crazy these days. Anyhow when he was leaving, he made it clear to all in the store to be careful of this place and to make sure we know what we are getting ourselves into as these are nasty people. He also called her by some unpleasant names and left. While trying on glasses, Julie was somewhat pleasant but as time went on she became abrupt, often cutting me off while I was talking and less interested. I didn't get a good vibe but since I saw frames I liked, I scheduled an appointment. The next day I canceled because I truly wasn't happy with the experience plus the reviews on Yelp and of course the customer being super upset with them were all signs. I called later on to ask for the model number of the frames I had liked and what do you know I was told they don't give out model numbers over the phone. What's the difference with them telling me the model number and me going back or sending someone to write it off the frames?? Stupid. I found somewhere else and they don't have the frames I wanted but I decided that GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE is more important. I would avoid this place!! These reviews actually don't lie ! read more

Pro: Great Service, great Selection of Style Frames, very friendly Staff. Cons: Old Equipment, no knowledge about the newest technologies of lenses, not able to measure 3D for special lenses (Visioffice). 10 year old friendly business but no improvement after 10 years. Miss communication problems between customer, Optician and Eye Doctor. I don't recommend Chic Optic anymore, there are 10 years behind of the newest technology of lenses. Only the selection of stylish Frames is an A+. read more

Look no further for EXCELLENT care from professionals and community partners. The owners go out of their way to make YOU, the customer feel welcome and appreciated. Sure it looks a bit "chic" but it's so true in terms of how people are treated and the high quality of both products and people. read more

Great service, they treated me like family. They offered me free adjustment. They had a large selection of glasses to choose from.

I have been wearing glasses for 27 years. NEVER have I had such a horrible experience. I have spent hundreds (aprox $700 plus what insurance covered) on three pair of glasses that I cannot use. The first time I called, from out of state where 1 pair had been mailed to me, to complain that I could not see with the glasses, Julie said to me "I don't know what to tell you" I no longer live in Florida and just had to get new glasses. How they have been in business 19 years is beyond me. I hope the place folds today. Thanks for NOTHING. read more

If you want to be treated with care and have an excellent selection of frames and you need eyewear then you must come to this establishment. I've been to other boutique eyewear shops from New York City to San Francisco and I've never felt as genuinely and patiently served as I did here. Maybe it's because it's owner operated but you'd never know it since they make you feel very comfortable and never even mention that. read more

{Silhouette rimless, screwless, hingeless, almost weightless eyewear for men and women is sophisticated and incredibly durable)... This place took my $500 SILHOUETTE Lenses and RUINED them. I was not told beforehand that the arm I purchased and wanted replaced was done completely at my peril. Karen took my glasses and replaced the arms. However by fixing the lense to the arm with ordinary SCOTCH TAPE (as a temporary hold in repair) this removed the expensive anti-glare coating with a very noticeable tape imprint on the lenses. I asked what could be done or if any rebate or repair was available to me but was told by her and staff that there were no guarantees on repairs to used lenses. The lenses should have been inspected and I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD about any possible damage which might occur during a repair. This is not a professional way to handle a business and offer good will to customers with a premium product repair. SHAME ON YOU !!! Shame on you Karen read more
