I came to Chic Nails for the first time yesterday. I walked in and told them what I wanted and was sat with a nail tech quickly. I get my nails done every 3 weeks and have for several years so I know what to expect. From the beginning the experience was off. I asked for dip nails and a manicure. She removed my nails with acetone and a drill, which is normal . I kept getting a burning sensation while she was drilling and I tried to pull my hand away but she had a good grip and then just kept going. I have NEVER had my nails burn while they were being drilled. The dip application was so messy, I was very concerned by how lopsided and thick they were but I kept quiet in hopes they would look better after filing and shaping. I asked for simple flowers on one nail and was offered flower stickers, I declined and asked if they could be painted with the same color as my nails, she huffed but agreed to do them. She painted the flowers and asked me to stick my hand under the light. I did not want to hurt her feelings and say something but they were so bad. After she was done she clear coated the nails but did it so thick that it is still all over the sides of my fingers, I am slowly trying to pick it off without ruining the nails. Every other time I get my nails done they remove the nails, do the manicure and then start on the dip process. Well not this time, she did the manicure and cutting the cuticles AFTER the nails were done. The nails are going to lift since they are sitting on top of my cuticle that was not removed. I am upset about spending $75 plus tip for nails that look so bad, they are misshaped and just overall the worst set of nails I have ever had. I went back in and a man (possibly the owner) fixed the 2 flower nails and I appreciate that but I am now stuck with these nails for the next 3 weeks (if they last that long). Overall I do not recommend chic nails and should have looked at the other yelp reviews before deciding to go here. read more

I moved on this side and gave them a try quite a few times. The last time I wanted a overlay on my toes bc my toe nail was broke and wanted all of them to look nice. Sandy basically just thru the acrylic on my toes she didnt file or shape them at all. The overlay was soooo thick and uneven it snagged the sheets. It looks like she put bubble gum on all of my toes. They have a problem if you want designs or multi colored nails. I'm paying and they ain't cheap I feel I shouldn't have to deal with your nasty attitude. To the owner, thank you so much for being so nasty to me about the Gel polish. I could understand if your policy was to not allow people to bring in their own polish and you had a sign posted saying such. The polish was a gel polish, but to not put me under the UV light, to ask me why would I bring in my own polish because you have so many beautiful colors, just to get $10 more dollars out of me to use your gel polish when my bill was already $80, is not good business. But thank you so much because the $80 to $100 that I was giving you once a month, I now save. I have all equipment to do my own hands and feel and I'm now taking the time to do my own. I would not recommend your business to anyone and I have told all of my family and friends and in doing so, I've found other people have experienced your rudeness in so fashion. Stay away from this place. They overcharge for what is done and it will take forever to get out of there. I went in and didn't have to wait to start my pedicure, but it took 2.5 hours for just a manicure and a pedicure. Also, I normally spend around $40-45 for a gel mani and pedicure that is better quality than there $70 service for both. read more

The wait time for this place is awful. Up to a 2 hour wait. After pedicures the lady doesn't even wash her hands. They don't clean their area after they change customers and social distancing isn't really enforced. read more

Don't recommend this place. Went in people are waiting the lady doing pedicures asked what I wanted I said a fill-in she said it would be a few minutes nothing else no price given. Set down while waiting two people walked out. A lady got up I got told to sit in the chair by the manicurist well he pointed at me then the chair. Sat down he moved to the women next to me working on her nails. He then put the color set in front of me "pick color" told him I just wanted a full-in no response sat there for about 25min. This was my second experience with Chic nails and I definitely will not be back this time. The first time was not terrible, I just felt like they rushed through customers in order to get through with more, which I didn't like. Putting quality of something your customers are paying for is not okay with me. Anyways, this time was HORRID. First off, I called before hand(knowing it was Friday and late afternoon)to see how long we would have to wait for 2 manis and 2 pedis... of course the response was come on in and well get started. Upon arrival, there were 3/4 other people ahead of us waiting, but we let it slide, whatever. We only had to wait for about 15 mins for them to sit us at stations, and the ones getting pedis started soaking.... one older man started on one of the pedis as soon as he finished the lady before. And the other pedi, along with us two waiting to get manis, SAT FOR AN HOUR with nothing done. While we sat there, we witnessed a customer get told she 'was wasting her time' when she told one of the workers she no longer wanted designs on her nails. They also attempted to pull a person THAT just walked in, and start on her pedicure before they even began on our second one read more

I went into the salon today only to get my toes painted No pedicure just polish and I sit there for 30 minutes with only 4 customers in there and about 7 workers . And then when one lady got up they didn't even wipe the chair down so I left I waited and then saw how un safe they were during the covid .. so just know they don't clean up after people leave .. This was my first time ever coming here to get my nails done. I'm originally from California and came to chic nails as an " emergency " because I couldn't keep walking around with messed up nails. First off the owner kept throwing out random prices for how much my nails were going to cost. Over the phone she told me 40 then when I came in she told me 51. I've never paid 51 for nails, let alone 40. I am a college student and that's over priced if you ask me. I get my nails done for THIRTY dollars and I am satisfied every time. Secondly , the shape of my nails is terrible and I have lumps in my nails. I like my feet though that is the only thing I would recommend . But other than that, do not go for gel nails or shaping they will have your nails all kind of different shapes. read more

Poor service and less than sanitary technique makes this a place to pass on your way to get a manicure and/or pedicure. While offering an array of different services ranging in price from $25 to $60 for a pedicure, what they specialize in is unprofessional banter between staff and largely ignoring their customers. Due to their proximity to a main thoroughfare and other shopping it is likely that they will always have a good crowd but I'd be surprised if they have many repeat customers. read more

They are the least sanitary of any place I have been. I use gel and polish doesn't last as long as it does with other nail salons, not sure why. The one positive comment I can make is they do accept credit cards. read more
