The drinks are fantastic, the pastries are great, and the staff is consistently kind and talented. But I'm still baffled by the lack of ceramic "for here" mugs. They clearly have the infrastructure to support them. There's a bussing station ready and waiting, and they make the pastries and cheesy bits in house. You can't tell me they don't have a place to wash a few mugs! Choosing not to offer reusable mugs is costing more than just extra paper cups; it's costing loyal customers like me. I've found myself going elsewhere lately, not because I don't love MeCo, but because even when I remember to bring my own cup, my friends usually don't. It feels wasteful to sit down and try to enjoy coffee in a disposable to-go cup. This feels like a small, one-time investment with a big environmental and customer loyalty return. I truly hope MeCo reconsiders.

Chairs that belong in one's home. Natural lighting. Cozy nooks where one can have privacy. They have a large selection of tea from the local Tea Spot company. (I should also note that I have a mild allergy to an ingredient that's often in cheap chocolate. I had no reaction to this pastry, so I'm making the assumption that the chocolate they use is of a nice quality!) Their crafted drinks are made fresh, with espresso shots pulled right in front of you the old-fashioned way. The selection of pastries and breakfast items is fresh and visually appealing. I tried the pumpkin graham cracker latte, and it was an absolute delight. While I know pumpkin isn't for everyone, what I loved about this drink was that it wasn't overly sweet. The coffee and seasonal flavors blended beautifully, creating a perfectly balanced taste. Though not pictured, I also had the berry cream cheese scone--and I honestly don't even have the words to describe it. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and despite it being a busy Friday morning, the service was quick. The shop itself is super cute--small, intimate, and full of great vibes.

They have a great variety of all nonalcoholic drinks and teas, great music and different events on their calendar like karaoke, art nights, movie nights, live music, full moon parties and more. It's open late every night and has fast WiFi and comfy seating, often making it a perfect place to journal, play games, meet with friends or get some work done. It's been a great addition to the city of Longmont and I'm so glad the establishment is here.
