Comfort fusion food Order is by kiosk and food pick up…read more The drink situation was confusing, like we weren't sure if we could just grab the cold drinks from the fridge or wait for someone got hand them to us. It was the former Food came out pretty quickly after ordering. The place had people coming and going but wasn't really busy. The musubi and chicken rice bowl was packed with rice. The bowl came with a salad too. I think you get your money's worth with the bowl with the amount of chicken and sides in packed in. The kamekazi fries were ok. Not very crispy and the topping didn't add much flavor. The beef and pork belly tacos were really good. Loaded with meats and sauce, so it was hard to contain everything after one bite. Messy but delicious. The restaurant had plenty of open tables and the stone layout kept the place pretty cool.

Ordered some food and a lemonade and asked the girl cashier (asian with glasses and a ponytail…read moreworking 10/11/26 at 12:25pm) for an extra cup with a lid and she said she needed to charge me and I said sure. Totally understandable. She then proceeded to ring me for another lemonade which was $4.26 and my flabbers were ghasted. I had to make sure my ears were hearing correctly so I proceeded to clarify if she was really tryna charge me $4 for a plastic cup with a lid lmaooo. She responded "that's why you should take the small cup." What the fffffff?? On a more serious note, it's less about the cup and more about the willingness and business integrity of how employees are trained to provide proper customer service. Happily would've paid .25 or even .50 for a plain cup but to charge $4 for a plain cup is just malicious on her part to make things particularly difficult because I said no to the free lidless water cup. Hope you receive employee of the year award for guarding your boss's inventory with so much integrity.

I was going to go to one place I want to come back but this sandwich restaurant has popped up. So I…read moredecided to come here since I was interested with it specially with how they design this place. It's quite small when I got here. I like the way they design this place since artworks are good here. There was one employee who seems to be taking over the restaurant, and he is patient and nice. I took my time to scroll over the menu since I'm new here and also they have plenty of options. They come in different sizes ranging from 4-8 inches. They sound smaller since skinnier sandwiches less than that size are small. I got an 8-inch Reuben sandwich and wow...I was expecting it to be smaller, but this is probably because of the bread they choose and how kinda packed the meat is. Now, I see why 8-inch is considered the largest. About the Reuben sandwich, it's really good and meaty. The crunchiness of the bread is on point since it's toasted very well. Also, the way he cut the sandwich was uneven since the first half of the sandwich is slightly larger than the second half. Don't know why but I guess it's part of the process. They have other options including soups, salads, and Mac & cheese. I'm looking forward to trying those including other sandwiches. Hopefully, I don't take too much time scrolling on the menu when I come back.

I had a very disappointing experience at West Coast Sourdough in Fremont…read more I ordered two meals totaling $52.60 (after using a coupon; the regular price would have been around $60). I also paid for extra cheese on my sandwich. After leaving the restaurant and driving to a meeting, I started eating and realized the extra cheese I paid for was missing. I called the restaurant to let them know about the mistake, expecting a simple apology or an offer to make it right. Instead, the person who identified himself as the owner argued with me, insisting that the extra cheese had been added. I politely explained that it was not on my sandwich, but he continued to debate me rather than listen to his customer. Eventually, I ended the call because the conversation was going nowhere. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What I don't understand is the lack of customer service and the unwillingness to simply acknowledge the issue and resolve it. My advice to anyone ordering here is to check your order carefully before leaving the restaurant. If something is missing, don't expect a customer-focused response if you call about it afterward.

This is one of the best Taiwanese Teppanyaki sizzling plates that I've had ever…read more First of portions are so generous. I ended up eating my pork chop across two meals. They're also very generous with the sides. They have a buffet style self serve soup, and drinks in the corner where you can also get other seasonings I like that my plate came with a variety of vegetables and the sauces were very flavorful and the pork was pretty juicy. I'll have to come back to try the steak but no notes for the pork Teppanyaki. I like to get the mixed sauce with pepper and mushroom. My coworker got the shrimp steak though, and I do have to warn that those are just full shrimps on a sizzling plate that you have to peel and so I would not recommend that. Seems like a lot of trouble. I'll definitely be back to try other cuts of meat!

I came here today. It was a pretty bad experience. The…read moreservice was typical taiwanese style sit down. Self serve water, etc. Staff was your fake "nice" type attitude. I ordered 3 appetizers, 2 main courses between me and my wife. Main courses came out first, then our appetizers... wrong order, and really on the salty side. I'm pretty sure I asked for less salt and oil on the orders. I guess that means to pour more salt on the order from the line cook's perspective. Next time I won't make that mistake in asking. The restaurant was decent looking, our table was not that clean - plastic tables outside in the cold. Was offered, then punted to use the QR code. Another table sat next to us and across from us - they had service. Great, awesome experience so far ehh? My wife had the chicken steak, I took the ribeye with pasta. 1 - I asked for my steak medium rare... it came out raw and it was rancid. 2 - My wife's chicken thigh (they called it chicken steak, but it was just a thigh that was pounded down) was ok. I had an order of the blood rice cake, tofu, and corn soup. The corn soup was ice cold, it had some puff pastry and the soup had raw shrimp and ice cold imitation crab meat. I didn't touch the thing except to open the lid. Luckily I didn't eat it, reported it and they took it back and cancelled it. I don't know how you can bring out a soup that is ice cold and had RAW shrimp. So I know 100% microwave pre-prep and was bad. My steak however, was raw, but that wasn't the point. even if it was undercooked, I'm usually good with black+blue steaks and/or rare. The steak was foul, not quite to the point just straight green, but close enough. I didn't notice at first, I then cut away the fat and after eating a couple of pieces, I smelled the steak and it was rancid. The meat was going sour and the flesh was oxidized (rainbow colors due to metals and minerals in the flesh) when I finally looked and flipped it around. Once I tasted the bad taste, I stopped and set it aside. Just quietly paid for the meal and left. Came home to a nice case of toilet sitting for 30 mins to evacuate my bowels. yeah, there's no excuse for this experience. I'm not coming back. I honestly think this place has potential, but it was an awful experience over all.
