We arrived late at Carbuccia, Corsica, and still had to have dinner. We drove down to Ucciani to find some place to eat when we saw the "Pizza" sign on the outside.
It was past 22h, but still decided to go and take a look. The chef was already cleaning, but let us in anyway. The place is very small, and can easily be missed if you're not looking for it.
I ordered the "Campagnarde" pizza (onion, bacon, lardons, tomato, ...). The pizza was stuffed with these ingredients! This may be one of the best pizzas I ever had. There was also a very good (homemade?) spicy olive oil on the table: highly recommended, but use with caution ;) read more
