Average food, horrible service. The waiter/manager was rude. You don't want to dine here with your family or friends. I would never go back.

What a privilege to be able to enjoy well prepared Vietnamese food served in large portions. The pork served with both #49 and 58 were both juicy, tender, well- seasoned with great depth of flavor and texture. We also enjoyed the 3 bean drink. Reminds me of the Filipino halo- halo. We're planning to return tomorrow to enjoy Pho Anh Vu's other offerings. Stay tuned for updates. Service was fast, friendly and efficient.

My family made reservations for noon on a Saturday and thankfully so, because the line was out the door upon arrival. We ordered a pho dac biet (#15) and bun bo hue dac biet (#24) . Come hungry, because their large bowls are massive! Their pho was so nourishing and comforting on a rainy day. Each bowl loaded with a hefty serving of meat, tendon and tripe. The herbs were incredibly fresh and even came with culantro! But the star of this meal had to be the bun bo hue; I haven't had such an amazing bun bo hue from a restaurant in a long time. The broth was beefy and loaded with tender pieces of meat, but also finally had enough of the lemongrass essence I crave for in bbh. It packed just the right amount of heat without it being overpowering or mouth-numbing. I practically licked the bowl clean at the end of the meal. My family was ecstatic to have found another spot that hits close to home for them. Flavors are impeccable and portion sizes are very generous. We already decided that we will be regulars. You'll catch us here very often!

Wow what an amazing place i always had the urge to try this beautiful place out…read more this was during the ice storm and it was one of the restos that had power and they were cooking for the entire village they were really making everything possible to help serve everyone as much as they could. The place was amazing actually even during the full blown storm and all the chaos they managed to get our orders out in style!! We got served fairly quickly. Place was amazing The food to die for! My boeuf saignant with tripes were devine they taste super tender the broth was all I needed that day Pho soup helped me stay warm during such a difficult storm ... we really warmed up our bellys and it helped us through the night Food was absolute fresh and I am so happy I finally gave this place a try I wasn't really expecting high standards because i knew they were overwhelmed with orders but nonetheless our orders came out exceptionally delishh will definitely be back here again very very soon The shrimp and veggie tempura were still crispy and you can tell they were fresh and homemade batter Even my calamari wow and that dipping sauce paired well with the crispy texture. The dip had a very citrus / sweet flavour hint of cilantro. I loved it Overall, definitely top notch for pho and will be back in a heartbeat Cheers!!

Sadly, we've moved away from Montreal, but make certain we come to this establishment each time we visit family in Montreal. We always get the hi tieu nam vang kho (dry version). It's delicious! Their menu is small - only 9 items (no vegetarian options) - but they do their menu amazingly. I have yet to eat at restaurant that serves better Hu Tiu on the east coast. What's more, my parents love it and they say it truly brings them back to Vietnam. While I highly recommend their Hiu Tiu and Mi (which you can get with broth or dry/broth on the side), they also have amazing rice and vermicelli plates too. The staff are very friendly and attendant. Service is fairly quick. The restaurant itself is small, but very clean on the inside. As a side note, the hot tea they serve is so fragrant and delicious - it compliments the meal well. Overall, very happy by this discovery and stop and I highly, HIGHLY recommend this restaurant! Some notes to keep in mind: - This is a CASH ONLY business - For those who have difficulty getting around... It's a little over a mile from the Cote-des-Neiges station, but an easy walk (nearby bus stops too) -There isn't any sort of accessible entrance into the restaurant itself as there are a good amount of stair to go up, so keep that in mind!

They're located next to B12 Burger CDN, Mr. Puffs and La Republika. We dropped in on a busy Saturday for lunch (around 12:15pm) but snagged a table on the terrasse. There's partial umbrella shading (our table wasn't fully covered). Service was weak; it was like pulling teeth to get extra bowls. We grabbed our own spoons because they never brought any. They also never came by to refill waters. The menu consists of pho, appetizers, vermicelli, rice and combos. There's a couple weekday lunch specials (11:00am to 3:00pm). Note: prices already include all taxes. - Goi cuon tom thit (#18) ($6.00) - not worth it; you get two pieces but it's really only one roll cut in half. Nothing unique about them. - Goi du du tom thit ($9.00) - menu says shrimp but there wasn't any on the plate. Beef jerky was decent but the papaya salad was standard fare. Wouldn't get this again. - Herbs - bean sprouts, basil and lime wedges. - Bun bo hue ($18.50 XL) - only available on weekends. I love BBH and their version was okay. Broth was light on the lemongrass. No pork blood or pork hock but all the meats were tender. - Bun bo xao xa (#25) ($17.00) - flavours were more prominent and satisfying in this bowl than in the rice dish. Beef was surprisingly tender but still retained a bite. - Com ga xao xa (#28) ($17.00) - lemongrass flavour was subtle, chicken pieces were okay. Fairy standard rice dish. Cash only. PL isn't offering any unique Vietnamese dishes but seems to excel in the standards. 3.5 stars.

We sat in the patio given the nice weather and were served pretty quickly. Not the friendliest service but efficient. The portion sizes were average but it was a bit pricier than what I'm used to in the GTA. The spring rolls were only warm and not very crispy in the middle, and the filling wasn't seasoned much and had too much carrots imo. The pho was pretty good and hot, the broth was a bit ginger forward. For some reason they didn't have any basil to serve with the bean sprouts for the pho which was too bad. The vermicelli bowl was fresh but the pork could use more lemongrass flavour. Note that this is a cash only spot. There is an ATM beside the cashier.

I dropped by on a Friday afternoon (around 3:30pm) for a late lunch and was surprised to see it was reasonably busy. Good sign. I like how their menu is short and sweet. Only 14 items on the menu! - Bun bo hue ($9.75 large) - two sizes to choose from (small and large) so obviously I went with the latter. Unfortunately, the only difference (to me) is that you get more soup rather than more meat or more noodles. Broth was tasty but I instantly tasted MSG/salt. The level of heat was pretty fiery with the first few sips but eventually subsided. Noodles were good (but wish they gave more). The best was the beef slices; perfect fat to meat ratio and it stayed incredibly tender the whole time I was eating. They even put in pork blood; pretty authentic/legit. Wanted to really like this place but I've had better depth, more complex BBH. Cash only.

Bun Bo Hue - 10/10 Super flavorful broth and a perfect super mild spicy! I personally don't like all the pork feet and bones in my noodle soup but authentically I think it should come with it and other people prefer it. But I liked that it only came with the regular viet ham and beef bc I don't like the other things. #44 Pork Chop Rice Plate - 10/10 It may look small on camera but this portion was HUGE. Lots of rice! But the pork chop was decent regular size. Pork chop was perfectly marinated and I love the glaze that comes with it. Cooked perfectly as well not too dry and not tough. Also the fried egg was perfect! A little soft fried sunny side egg yolk! Overall I loved all elements of this place and I had so much rice left over but I was FULL for the whole day. Banh Xeo - 10/10 HUGE portion as well! It's super stuffed with lots of filling and the crepe was cooked soft and crispy! I like this style of appetizer because it's super hands on and you get to wrap it like a little roll. Super fun and yummy appetizer! ALSO pleaseee try the sugar cane drink! It's so refreshing and it's real authentic sugar cane and it literally soothes your soul. The ambience was super welcoming and the restaurant was super big and spacious. Overall, I liked every single dish and everything was super flavorful and made me feel good eating it! Best bun Bo hue I had!
