I loved the decor--I was downstairs--and the service was attentive. I had the foie gras and the tuna burger, and both were very good.

Since we are from Texas we had low expectations but we were wrong. Freddy's BBQ Serves excellent BBQ THAT WOULD COMPETE WITH ANY IN Texas Or Tennessee! The brisket was perfectly smoked, tender and juicy! The pulled pork was fantastic and the ribs were solid! We had all the sides and loved them The two pitmasters are trained and from Texas and Oklahoma So you know they know what real BBQ is!

We each got the combo platter that allowed us to try multiple meats and sides, and I have to say that I was extremely impressed with the meat. Especially the brisket, a particular favorite of mine when it comes to BBQ. The mac and cheese was a solid side, but the coleslaw was underwhelming. As Americans, yes, we expect large portions. I've been to Europe often enough to manage those expectations pretty well, so I was also pleased when we each reached a comfortable stopping point and were able to get takeaway boxes for our leftovers. I know it's traditionally trés gauche to take leftovers from French restaurants, but I was happy to see that the trend is catching on. After all, not wasting food is a good thing, is it not? We carried those leftovers all the way to Amsterdam the next day--that's how much we wanted to finish them. We opted to sit in the terrace seating that has a suspended plank for a table so that we could people watch Rue St. Denis, a busy street in this arrondissement. It's in a great neighborhood that was vibrant and full of life, even in the wake of the pandemic. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who would like to try good Texas style BBQ in the middle of Paris.

The chicken wings though, avoid. They use whole large chicken wings (so 8 wings is too much for even 2 people) and they put so much breading on it, it's hard to eat. Not exaggerating, there was a 1/4 thick breaking on top of the wing. Biting into it, you pull away all bread and don't get any chicken. It certainly is a good spot to grab a bite on the run or if you need a snack!

The loaded french fries came with a semi sweet barbecue sauce and some ladle cheese and the fries were not up to French standards. they did have plenty of green onions and chopped bacon on them. The fish and chips or mediocre. The batter was more like breadcrumbs than a traditional fish and chips batter. The batter was very crunchy but not a lot of seasoning. The cheeseburger while satisfactory was not nearly as tasty as a five guys burger. It was definitely better than McDonald's or Burger King but not up to the top burgers. The prices are fair and the service was fairly prompt. It is a sports bar and is probably packed on certain days so beware.

As soon as we arrived around 10 PM, we knew they closed at 11 PM, but they sat us down right away. They immediately asked our drink order and served us quickly. My wife got the margarita and I took the beer, then ordered a Oaxaca, and all were really good. As far as appetizers, we went with the beef empanadas and shrimp, which were amazing. In fact, we ordered another order of empanadas because they were sooo good! They provided bread, which was soft and delicious For our entrees, I went with the ribeye steak and my wife and son ordered the lomo while my daughter got the chicken. We went for the potatoes instead of the vegetables, which was a good choice for us considering we were so hungry. Everything was amazing, the steak was cooked exactly how we wanted it and we cannot wait to return. As far as pricing, it's an Argentina steakhouse so we knew going in what we were looking to pay, which was good for us considering the value and uniqueness of the food. I recommend this to everyone, I promise you won't be disappointed!

Prices range from 9-24 Euros ($11-27 US) for the meats, 4-5 Euros ($5-6 US) for the sides, and a lunch menu of 15 Euros ($17) for a meat, side and drink, it's a good deal for the best BBQ I've had in Paris. The first time I went, I had the pork ribs with a side of greens, and a beer. the pork ribs were tender in the center, but dry on the end, needing the delicious tomato based BBQ sauce to moisten the meat. The beef brisket was excellent, with a wonderful peppercorn crust, nice smoke, and juicy meat, good enough to eat without any sauce at all. The greens weren't bad, with plenty of pork goodness, but they needed salt and heat to make them better, unfortunately Parisian taste is not known for having any tolerance for spice, so sneak in some hot sauce if you want to perk up this side, or take it home and doctor it up. The pickles and pickled onions were excellent, with a crisp texture and vinegary bite. The baked beans were the best side I tasted, with a smokey tomato base, just slightly sweet. The decor reminds you that the owner spent some time in Texas, but fortunately there were no chainsaws in sight :)

First off Tom our server was awesome at explaining the history of the restaurant and the variety of the menus and drinks. The brisket is so tender and different from the brisket in California and so was the pulled pork and chicken. The sides of pickles and onions we're so flavorful that they changed the course of the dry meats into something magical. Our server then gave us a free plate of sausages and baby ribbs to sample and I must admit that the ribs we're the best I ever ate! I wish I would have ordered them first. I highly recommend someone from the states to come eat at The Beast to get their BBQ fix

Friends had moved from Rome to Paris and in our WhatsApp chat they dropped ideas for things I might…read moreconsider during my Paris stay. Amongst them, they threw in the idea of Sunday afternoon roast chicken at Brutos for which they said reservations were needed and quickly grabbed. If you're feeling overwhelmed by hoofing around Paris all day, the notion of a late afternoon lunch of a whole roast chicken holds sway and when you waltz into the warm embrace of Brutos you'll know you've chosen perfectly. That embrace comes not only in the food, but in both the atmosphere and service level. This is a restaurant that would also find success in San Francisco (high praise). After leading with wine, beer, a delicately beautiful asparagus starter (€14), and beef tartare (€16), two of us shared one whole roast chicken (€58) which was stuffed with both a lemon and an onion. Both would be a good accompaniment to the chicken but I only came upon them as we neared the end. Fries accompany the chicken and mustard is a good accompaniment to request (Brutos stocks no catsup) if the provided dip is too rich for your palate. I opted for a 2:30pm reservation, scooping up the last time slot available and staying until what appeared to be closing time, though I felt no rush or prodding. From start to finish, Brutos was a lovely experience and, as my reliable friends noted, a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Paris.

The food was a bit hit-or-miss, though. The fish was delicious. Fries were well-cooked and the dipping sauce was great. But while I'm not afraid to try a steak medium-rare, what they brought out was basically still mooing. It was also a bit on the bland side -- there was some seasoning on it but it was a bit plain. Overall, though, it was a good experience. Not necessarily as great as people hyped it up to be, but I'd go back.

Found it on The Fork (or La Fourchette) app from trip advisor with great local reviews and 30% off a la carte items. So we ordered 12 wings, 3 sides and 2 cokes and had a delicious dinner for €22 which is hard to beat. At 7 p.m. on Sunday the first 3 customers were actually English speakers like us (well honey especially...) but the owner speaks very good English and was able to explain everything in detail. Actually 7 p.m. is opening time for dinner at this place on Sunday as people in France tend to arrive later for dinner. The wings are good French raised chicken that is grilled not fried. It's good chicken, you can tell, because bones are well attached to the flesh, unlike the cheap chicken you can find in the US where everything falls apart when you cook it. They give you a bunch of sauces to pick from, and that they grill with. We picked a different sauce for every couple wings and stayed on the mild side. All excellent. The sides were actually very delicious as well. The french fries with deliciously crispy. The quinoa and mixed grain salad was super fresh in the best part was the assortment of grilled vegetables from bell peppers to eggplants and zucchinis. The only downside were the tables that are really small. The wood boards on which they serve everything takes over most of the table, especially if you pick the wings or full chicken. I think that if you order chicken tenders on a stick it's a lot easier to eat and less messy but I like wings.
